Great Customer service from Amber in a frustrating situation

I felt very disappointed with the Customer Services by Furniture Village especially Samantha at the Wednesbury site, and felt that no-one was helping, and I felt very upset and let down by the lack of response from Furniture Village as our expensive double recliner sofa was delivered and fitted with cables missing so only one side of the sofa was working, but Amber at Customer Services was amazing, I felt she listened to me and was emphatic and made me feel confident she would be able to resolve this matter for me and put in a request for the missing cables to be shipped, I have everything crossed that this matter can be sorted, but the manner in which Amber handled this issue, made me think she is an asset to Furniture Village

Sharon was absolutely fantastic

Sharon was absolutely fantastic! I couldn’t recommend her enough! She was so helpful and gave us the best customer service. Thank you again Sharon. We will defo be visiting you in future again when needed!!

The welcome was friendly

The welcome was friendly. All the staff looked after us without pestering or following us around. No hard selling allowing us to walk around freely. Sam Hadley was the lovely lady who dealt with our sale. Sam was very friendly/genuine and helpful.

Judith Sales Advisor was excellent

Judith Sales Advisor was excellent, patient, attentive but also not pressurising at all. Her product knowledge and advice was really good and tailored to our needs.

The overall quality, value and range is excellent, we went to all the local competitors over several days and we found Furniture Village to be the best and gave a fantastic, enjoyable experience.

Beautiful furniture

Beautiful furniture. Judith at Wednesbury was so helpful and informative. There was no pressure sell and she was very patient spending all the time we needed to help make our purchase. Would definitely recommend.

Natalie was fantastic

Natalie was fantastic, very compassionate towards my problems as this is the second sofa we have had from furniture Village as the 1st one was miss sold to us now this one again not even a month since delivery and problems 😢 Natalie really made me feel as though I will be looked after

Appalling follow up to issues with build and instillation quality.

I purchased 3 pieces of furniture in February last year for my brother's bedroom. His chest of drawers has since started to fall apart with the drawer facings falling away and now one drawer won't even close. This is very problematic especially with my brother having severe learning disabilities and epilepsy as it is a unacceptable hazard.
I initially contacted Furniture Village in Stevenage where I bought the furniture from and they told me to fill in an online form. I did so and still hadn't heard anything by March. I called customer services last weekend and was told to send an email with photos which I did. I was assured by Sean Maloney that this would be resolved. 6 days later I have still not received a call or a response in any way.
I am afraid so far that your customer service has absolutely not lived up to my expectations given Furniture Village's Trustpilot review score.

Friendly and accommodating staff.

Our sales assistant, Judith Wright was excellent and very knowledgeable. She gave us a lot of good advice, even helping with the rearrangement of our living room space. She was also very patient with us as we made up our minds.

FRAUD COMPANY!

After placing an order in January, and chasing it a number of times we FINALLY got our furniture delivered …. THE WRONG FURNITURE! Back to square one trying to get a hold of anyone. Calls, messages and emails to myexperience at furniture village .co.uk, no response! I see the response on all the other reviews however despite sending an email, no one actually looks/ into it or gets back to you! Absolutely disgusting customer service what a waste of thousands of pounds!!

Faultless delivery men…

Although I was not notified of a time slot the day before delivery as expected, the delivery men were faultless. They rang me 20 minutes before arrival and they were efficient and friendly, assembling the furniture very quickly, making sure the recliners were all working properly before they left. Cannot fault them.

It was a really fantastic experience we were treated like kings and queens.

Then the experience continued when Mike and Simon brought and built the bed and mattress. 5 stars plus from all the staff.
And. We have our settee to come.
