Love the Yoga and Pilates classes. Lack of investment in the Centre is appalling
Clements Hall Leisure Centre.
Love the Yoga and Pilates classes. The instructors are knowledgeable and engaging. Special thanks to Yoga - Karen.
I attend Young at Heart 3 times a week and in general it's very good. However, the equipment leaves a lot to be desired. The tabletennis tables have to be propped up, as they're so warped & uneven, as is the floor in the projectile room, which is bordering on dangerous. The floors in the Yoga room & squash courts creak when you're exercising, which is very off-putting. Pool changing & lockers have been put of action for weeks.
The cafe, where we socialise after YAH the coffee machine has been broken for weeks and they've nit had food there, domeone said as suppliers haven't been paid. Fusion offer no-one to organise YAH and dye to this it's getting 'clicky' which has put people off going. I thought there was a push to ensure older people stay in shape & and exercise but this is no thanks to Fusion who don't advertise or support the group. Shame on you Fusion. It could be a fantastic centre, the staff are helpful but they're doing a job with one hand tied behind their backs. Lack if investment us shocking 😲
Awesome
I recently joined Rayleigh leisure centre with my wife, and overall, we are really enjoying the experience! The gym is well-equipped, and I appreciate that it’s not too crowded most of the time, making workouts much more enjoyable. Booking a badminton court has been easy, and the NHS discount was a great bonus!
The reception staff are fantastic—always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with any queries. There’s also a nice coffee shop on-site, which is a great place to relax after a workout.
The only slight downside is that sometimes in the evenings, groups of schoolboys come in, which makes it harder to get access to certain gym equipment. But aside from that, the atmosphere is great, and the facilities are well-maintained.
Overall, a great place to stay active, and I’d definitely recommend it to others!

Fusion owners need to respond public…
Fusion owners need to respond publicly concerning the obvious decline of their Shoebury leisure centre. I am happy to post photographs I have taken last week showing the degraded facilities and terribly neglected changing rooms but frankly Fusion should already know this and have been carrying out much needed repairs and renovation years ago. It is blatantly obvious they have neglected it for many years.

Shoebury Leisure Center
Shoebury Leisure Center. Zero stars.
Since December we have not been able to shower after swimming as the women's showers are in a dangerous and unusable state. We have to use the men's open showers. This lack of privacy means that we cannot have a proper shower.
Women have also seen men naked and have had to awkwardly make light of the situation. We should not have have to put up with this. We are sure this situation does not comply with Southend Council's safeguarding policies.
In December the entrance area was decorated.
It is upsetting to see this as we feel that our wellbeing is deemed less important to Fusion than a shiny new entrance hall. Does Fusion just care about it's male clients?
We pay £30 a month and deserve a basic standard of facilities. At present we are not receiving this.
This is not a complaint against the staff. They are all very nice. Fusion Leisure need to sort this situation out immediately and either offer us a refund or give us a reduction on our fees.

Easy and convenient exercise swimming for all abilities.
My experience is limited to exercise swimming. The centre is well managed and reasonably priced. Changing areas clean and well maintained, water and shower temperatures good and, at the times I usually go, not over-crowded. Thoroughly recommended for exercise swimming for all levels of fitness (separate slow, medium and fast lanes).

If I could give no stars I would !
If I could give no stars I would !
Awful experience.
The place was run down. Doors hanging off shower cubicles. The place was filthy
When I signed up it said I could go at anytime. For me to turn up , the staff allowed to me to change etc to then tell me the pool isn't open and that I have to book a week in advance. They are still taking the monthly fee from me although all I did was walk in and out basically. Customer service is not existence. I just get sent straight back to the member of staff at the centre today who was no help what so ever. £30 a month for an awful experience. I'm pregnant and could do without the stress

I trained in Law and began a complaint…
I trained in Law and began a complaint against this company.Fusion Lifestyle ignored my concerns completely.
I was appalled by the City Baths building in Newcastle which Fusion Lifestyle were meant to be running.
The steam room had " had issues" in that it lacked stram on both the occasions when I tried to use it.
My third visit to their Turkish Baths was cancelled at the last minute because staff said there was no water in the building.
I had just been discharged from hospital and needed help to carry my bags. There were never any staff around to help. It was left to other customers who had to help me take my bag upstairs to reception from
a converted toilet which was supposed to be the 'V.I.P. members changing room'....it had no changing cubicles or space to swing a cat.
Staff lied to me saying the building had no lift but then admitted there was one but it too was out of order.
The business is only interested in profits. It's management is poor. Repairs take forever. The fees are ridiculously expensive. See article in national press re their centre in Tottenham.....
Frome again - unbelievable!!
Just to add insult to injury a notice has just gone up on the changing room door to say they are tightening up on their charges. This would be funny if it wasn’t so disgraceful. I used the one remaining shower yesterday and could easily have been scalded as the usually cold water came out at boiling point.
I have tried contacting Fusion with no success (as usual), so would be interested to have a response from them to these posts.
Absolutely disgusting customer service
Absolutely disgusting customer service. You have taken my money and not provided a service as Belfairs swimming was closed for 6 weeks. I have submitted an online form twice and not heard a thing. I have asked Belfairs to email you and still not heard a thing. I want my money refunded. It’s disgusting that you are not supporting your front line staff at the swim centre by hiding and letting them brunt the dissatisfaction from customers.
It could have been better
My husband and I attend different sports groups. And we want to express our gratitude to all the trainers. They are real professionals.
But when I visit the sauna, I notice that the showers are dirty and have not been cleaned for a long time, dirty lockers for clothes.
I am writing this so that our favorite sports center in Tonbridge Wells becomes the best.

Swim lesson cancelled no refund
Had a swimming lesson cancelled nearly 6 months ago for my 2 children. Said they would refund / adjust my direct debit since then but still nothing. I call the manger at least 3 times a week (when you can finally get through), have sent numerous emails and submitted sooooooooo many contact me forms. Still heard NOTHING! This is essentially stealing and from the looks of other reviews this is a common problem. It can't be that hard!!!!! Please get it sorted Fusion.

Belfairs swimming centre
We have had 6 swimming sessions cancelled since July 3 each for my 2 boys. We have asked to be reimbursed and we are still waiting! I have tried ringing head office but no one ever answers and i have emailed but still no reply.
I have emailed you my details and left you a message and you still haven't been in contact with me. You obviously have no intention of paying the money you owe you are nothing but a bunch crooks

Disappointed
Having been a member for quite sometime, I was really disappointed with how my membership freeze was dealt with due to pregnancy related illness. I requested a 4 month membership freeze, and received an email to confirm it had been ‘actioned’ only to then start receiving charges again after 3 months. I contacted fusion several times, initially not receiving any response, and was then advised that the T&Cs state a standard membership freeze is 3 months. After questioning why no one contacted me after processing my request, considering I explained my situation in the online form, I still haven’t received an answer or had a refund. I am on maternity leave, so receiving unexpected charges is not ideal. I have since cancelled my membership completely due to the lack of understanding from Fusion.

Southend -poor quality gym and not responding to emails
I decided to cancel my membership as the quality of the equipment was poor, equipment regularly not working for 6 months at a time, water dispensers t working or limescale around the aperture. The centre is grotty and seams to have a lack of care or upkeep.
I have sent a email via their own portal to cancel my membership, no response was received. They continued to take my membership fee's. I have emailed and chased this over the last few months. I have not received ANY correspondence back from Fusion. Note, there are NO real contact details to contact Fusion, you have to be in it to see it, but it is obvious when you are trying to do it, they hold back the methods of communicating, like a telephone number. Avoid.

A very nice gym
I have been a Halstead member for almost a year now, using the gym pretty much daily at various times and for various activities, so I hope my review gives a reflective opinion. Starting with the good things: the gym, pool and activity areas are clean, modern and spacious. The staff are all really lovely and friendly and there is a great choice of activities for everybody. There is also good parking and always hot water in the showers which is great after a workout. A few bad things that I think can easily be addressed: There is no water bubble or cups in the gym. There is a rather poor water fountain located in a corridor without cups, which I and several others find a bit rubbish. Not much to ask having water and cups really? Another negative is the men’s changing room. It would be so useful if there were shower gel dispensers, but the biggest thing several of us find, is they smell bad…drains? It needs an auto air freshener at least, it is quite overpowering at times. Parking - for some reason people find it acceptable to park on the footpaths, curbs, corners basically anywhere they please. It’s a nightmare for pedestrians as curbs become loose, paths blocked, disabled access limited and bays taken and the whole carpark is often chaos in the evenings or when football is on nearby. There really should be enforcement. The final other thing is availability of classes. For the membership price, it is almost impossible to get booked in to a class of choice, they get rebooked as people leave a class it seems - I can hardly ever attend anything because of this, so now don't even bother, which is a shame. This is a very nice gym though and I enjoy going.
