Avoid this company
This company deploys shady business practices such as enticing people to review software by offering gift cards and then saying that you were not one of the first reviews so no gift card. What an unethical business. Anyone who works for them should be ashamed.

Scam. you will never get a gift card if you fill in their review! Avoid.
Used my valuable time to create a review for a product I use after being sent a request by the vendor promising Amazon gift cart of $25. This was their reply after I had completed the review, obviously on the request to complete a review for them this was either nowhere to be seen or in the Terms and conditions document linked that no one ever read SCAM avoid!:
Thank you for reviewing LogMeIn Miradore on G2.
Unfortunately, your review was not one of the first we received and is therefore not eligible for a gift card. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and hope you keep an eye out for future review opportunities!

don't promote dead sites
don't promote dead sites, stick to your business and customers, i had a really unpleasant experience with one of your promoted website and it has an almost five star on your site.
EDIT :
Hi G2
Thank you for your response. I understand your policy on reviews, but I want to clarify that my feedback is based on a real experience, and whether or not I purchased the full product does not invalidate my perspective. Reviews should reflect all user experiences, not just those who have paid for the full version.
If my review does not meet your criteria, that’s your decision, but it remains my honest experience. I believe transparency is key.

They say they will give you a voucher if you submit a review and when you do it they say sorry you are not the first one to review this so no voucher. Scum

Problematic at first
Could not even connect to validate my identity, they just reject my review and I can't do anything, It's absolute trash. Even contacting support is trash.
Only the linkedin button worked and it used my old unverified account and then it's just buggy nothing happens and I get rejected, the reason I wanted to add a review was because of an incentive of 100$ on my hosting, for a HONEST review and it's a hassle.
UPDATE: They actually listened to me and fixed the problem professionally!

Do Not Fall for This Online Job Scam
Someone representing themselves as working with G2 contacted me with a remote job opportunity as a Data Analyst and said I could start the training immediately. The training soon transitioned into doing actual work as an employee. However, I was not formally onboarded with completing a W2 or any other paperwork. I was told that would happen after the training was completed. I was told that employees need to maintain a working account to cover business expenses in order to receive commissions the their work. I made a couple of deposits but did not get good explanations of why I needed to do this as an employee. It became clear that the amount of the commissions would always be less than the amount of money I was told to deposit. I informed the trainer that I would not deposit anymore money and I wanted the money back that I had deposited. She said I needed to complete my next work order to get my money back but I could not start the order until I deposited more money. This is obviously a trap to keep extracting money from people who think they are working to earn money.

Avoid G2 unless you want to lose customers
Despite not working with Netcore Email API for many years now, they continue to spam me with emails asking for reviews.
Avoid this company unless you want your customers spammed.

I got hired by G2 got hired by G2 and…
I got hired by G2 got hired by G2 and one of their managers conned me into going back and forth to the bank to send them Bitcoin. I wrote a review tried to contact management and they absolutely did not care. They did not care at all. In fact I think that they're behind what's going on at G2 because of their lack of communication with me. They have a separate platform that they send employees to vulnerable old people and hire them tell them they're going to give them a salary but then they start asking for little tiny deposits to fulfill their customers apps click-through rate. And then it just gets more and more and more until a wipe you out. I think G2 is completely and totally behind it.

Moderation team doesn't understand the context of companies that are being reviewed. Disputing rejected reviews is a terrible experience.
Review declined and any attempt to dispute it requires creating an account on the help desk - absolutely unnecessary. Logging in to the platform offers ZERO options to dispute the decision. The person who was approving my review couldn't comprehend that the product reviewed was a marketplace and assumed my LinkedIn experience as a provider on said marketplace is "being employed" by the company. That's despite the profile having reviews ALREADY APPROVED, from people with the same LinkedIn experience entries as mine. Sheer incompetence and unnecessary friction for users of the G2 platform. Don't recommend using G2 to gather your reviews, and wouldn't leave them on the platform either.

Inposibel to leave a review
We have been trying to leave a review for a month now. It's impossible because they always come up with nonsense reasons not to post it. No possibility of talking to human beings to ask why they think we using AI to write the review, as we don't do that at all.

Zero stars if possible
They sent me an email offering $50 to review one of the products. It's not money that will make a difference in life, but I bit the bullet and offered them a comprehensive review as asked.
When I finalised the review, and it got accepted, all I got back was that I wouldn't be eligible for any rewards because it wasn't my first review. However, it is the first review of the account.
And even if it wasn't, you could ideally be a lot less incompetent with your marketing and newsletters and learn how to use a CRM.
This was my last interaction with this platform, with such poor tactics and design.

Scam company. Not to be trusted.
Was promised a £30 shopping voucher for completing a survey about StaffCircle.
That was 8 months ago. Never received anything. Complete waste of time and a scam. This company is not to be trusted.

Frustrating experience with zero ROI on 9K USD
We invested in G2 enterprise where they claimed a bunch of things, and how traffic from G2 as well as leads would increase significantly. None of that has happened, especially after investing a huge 9k USD. What was worse- no customer support, no account manager to take care of the account, having to invest additional time and resources in making them understand what our solution is because they will decide which category you belong. The list of frustrations go on. Strongly recommend against any business using them to avoid regretting later.

Disappointing Experience and Lack of Accountability
G2.com is a great platform for finding software, but when it comes to honoring their promised payouts, they’re terrible. I made four reviews for their incentive program: Squarespace, SquareKicker, Spark, and Userway.
However, they only paid me for one.
After reaching out to them (in September already) about the payments, I received no response. I followed up again but still heard nothing. Then, I received a message saying that my review had been modified, and I was asked to log in and check. When I logged in, everything looked unchanged. Later, I received another message saying my review had been modified again, so I logged in once more. Since I didn’t understand what needed to be changed (everything appeared the same), I reached out again to ask for clarification. Once again, no response.
Their customer service is practically nonexistent. Oddly, two of their employees viewed my LinkedIn profile, yet no one bothered to address my concerns. Meanwhile, I continue to receive emails encouraging me to write more reviews.
They still owe me for three reviews, and I’m certain I’ll never receive that payment. The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating, time consuming and unprofessional. G2.com needs to fix their incentive program and provide proper customer support to address users’ issues. Till then, I can’t recommend them for paid reviews.
Ps.: This is to replay to the comment from G2. One: I did attach proof in a form of attached screenshot of my SS dashboard - of whom I’ve been a customer for 12 years now. This is a part of the last step when submitting a review and is required to upload a proof otherwise you can’t submit it. Two: I have written to your support numerous times since September 2024 asking for payouts and clarifications and this is your very first response to any of it - it is January 2025. Thank you for confirming my concerns and points.

Most annoying review experience so far
I am highly disappointed with my experience on G2. They promise Amazon gift cards as incentives for leaving reviews, but it seems like a bait-and-switch tactic. Despite following all the steps, they repeatedly ask for screenshots of me being logged into my company account, which feels unnecessary and intrusive. This raises serious concerns about whether this practice is even legal. The whole process feels misleading, and I would not recommend relying on their promises.

If you want to share the experience of…
If you want to share the experience of using any service, it is better to choose another portal. The moderators always don't like something about the feedback you write. They create artificial obstacles and have to spend a lot of time to adapt to their whims.
