Highly unprofessional behaviour

It tells a story that G2S hasn't bothered to respond to any of the terrible reviews. Neither have they responded to my guarantee claim, my formal letter of claim, my letter before action (which I know they read as it was emailed, and I have the names), my county court judgement against them, and my letter warning them of enforcement action. Their Salisbury premises are locked and I have seen people in the building with clipboards. Their fleet of vehicles is parked outside. The sole director has another four companies and I wonder what has happened to G2S assets. Yet they are still active as per Companies House, and they are not officially insolvent. They will not get any more finance with a CCJ outstanding (they are already in hock to two banks), so why do they ignore all contacts?

Rubbish service, shoddy workmanship

Absolute dog crap.

These guys haven’t got a clue, their workmen are totally incompetent and lazy. The materials they use are substandard, and poor quality. The workmanship is a joke.

We had our front door replaced and our french windows, and the upstairs windows at the front of the house replaced.

They managed to measure the french windows incorrectly, not once, not twice, not three times, FOUR TIMES!

4 attempts to correctly use a tape measure!!!

The new front door has been total crap since day 1, it doesn’t open without putting your entire weight on it and shoulder-barging it open. They have come out to fix it 3 times so far, but haven’t been able to do anything. Total waste of money.

The upstairs windows whistle and howl whenever there is the slightest bit of wind, again they have been out to fix this but didn’t seem in the slightest bit interested (recently they even left their tools in my bedroom, and the blind off the windows, and just left the place in a right mess after doing NOTHING again)

These guys are total crap, the work they have done to my Grandparents house, the family home, is literally atrocious.

It’s not necessarily the workmen, they are always polite and friendly, it’s the company as a whole and their response to our complaints. They just aren’t interested in fixing a job that didn’t go well from day 1.

We regret ever using this poor excuse for a company and certainly won’t recommend them to anyone.

Do not waste your money. You’ve been warned.

I am SO impressed with the service I…

I am SO impressed with the service I received from G2S.

We had an awkward job - removing a bay window and fitting french doors into the bay. So, quite a bit of building work as well as the fitting of the doors/windows themselves.

From start to finish G2S have been excellent. Michael was a genuinely nice salesman, with no over-sell.

The fitters themselves, Rob and Dan were excellent throughout - completed the job in no time, to a very high standard, and cleared up after themselves brilliantly.

The end result is far better than we imagined - and the whole thing was both competitively priced and completed in a very short space of time.

Would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Directors should be worried

Walked into showroom and agreed to purchase 2 products, agreed price and asked to price up a 3rd. 5 weeks later, numerous phone calls chasing this up the cost of the 3rd in order to proceed, all we've had is you need to speak to so and so and they are busy, with another customer, we are waiting on this, we are waiting on that, we will call you back bla bla bla.
Even walked back into the showroom to just pay for the 2 items so we could move forward, despite multiple staff on the premises chasing up quotations on the phone with other customers, nobody was able to deal with the customer stood in front of them looking to PAY!
If I were the director of this business I would be seriously worried about how customers are being treated, unless they don't care either???
Not one member of staff has taken ownership and provided a resolution.
I can only assume how horrific any after sales care must be!!!

Never would I ever recommend G2S

Never would I ever recommend G2S, excellent sales but they also ask for money for FENSA when the door I purchased doesn't apply, but when I asked for the money back they told me it was for admin charges.
I had a composite door and it was made too big, I got locked out and was told it was my fault and I could have been charged a call out fee,
There is no customer service at all in this company. I have been threatened with being taken to the Receivers, even though I chose their buy now and pay in a years time.
Ensure you check every single detail if you choose this company.

Shocking after sales.

Salesman excellent 5 stars. Surveyor excellent 5 stars. Fitters excellent 5 stars. Aftersales abysmal 1 star. A large scratch on window pane (13-2-17), re-ordered. No contact had to chase. Refit date given unpaid time off work - no show. Happened again, more time off work no pay. Refit booked glass alledgedly breaks so another appointment for today at 2pm. Surprise surprise no show... was going to get them to quote for a considerable amount of work but don't think I can rely on them...
