No customer service liars! Avoid at all costs

Paid more through this company as thry claimed 48 hour delivery as daughter decided to add chocolate fountain to her Christmas list last minute however they fail to tell you that they take days to dispatch! Ordered on 19th so business days should get in time for Christmas but wait they didnt even despatch until 29th. Emailed company several times and just got automatic replies it's on its way, track it. Had already tracked and tho order was generated with Hermes on 21st at 21.45 wasn't collect from them til 29th I emailed them asking them to be honest as it was a last minute Christmas gift and if it hadn't been collected I would buy gift from store but no reply, I emailed to cancel order on 26th as fed up with service or lack of but they said its been despatched they couldn't again lies! Closing my emails (they use the term ticket) without replying to my comments just ignoring them completely. Understand Christmas is a busy time, if they had just been honest I wouldn't of minded and would of just kept gift once it arrived as spare gift. Will never use again and will advise anyone and everyone I speak to the same! The company owner should be ashmed that they run a business like this and that there staff lie to customers tho believe it's probably one man band which makes it worse as they should want repeat customers very disappointed!!!

Gave a credit note when it should have been a refund

Bought IHealth Scales which were great. After 6 months use they used a set of batteries in a week, I tested them 3 times and they did exactly the same thing so after 3 sets of batteries I contacted IHealth. After 8 months and many emails they told me to get a refund. I contacted Gadget Grotto and sent all the emails and correspondence bearing in mind that I had proof I had tried to sort this well within the 1 years guarantee. They totally ignored the first few emails from me then I got Amazon involved. Gadget Grotto have given me a 'credit note' because they don't do the ihealth scales anymore. Why not I ask, is it because of the same problem I had? I didn't want a refund I wanted another set of scales, I most certainly do not want a credit note as there is nothing I want!!

Brilliant service

The messenger bag I ordered for my grandsons birthday arrived the next day! Couldn't ask for better service than that. It's not my grandson's birthday until next month so I can't comment on his view of the bag but it looks lovely and will not fade in the way that the other marvel messenger bags do!

Excellent service.

Excellent service. There was a problem with the item being delivered by the courier, both my phone calls were dealt with in a very thoughtful, helpful and caring fashion. To my surprise the problem was sorted very quickly-very pleased with professional service.

excellent speedy service, will use again!

Found exactly what we were after at half the cost! Delivery was prompt and packaged well, item was exactly as described and of good quality. Very impressed, this was our first purchase and we will definitely use again.

The one hundred year diary is amazing, i bought three of them for my sons birthday as he wants to give one to each of his children. i will be buying another quite soon. Reliable delivery, but appauled by the item.

The Boombox speaker was advertised as a loud, well made portable speaker. Everything seemed mint, until it arrived. The actuall speaker is around half the size of that on the picture and the quality of the sound is shocking. Severely unhappy.

The product was faulty and this is the second faulty item I have received from gadget grotto! th

I wasn't very happy with either the customer service or the product. The lava lam arrived and did not work. I rang to complain and was told I needed to send it back via a courier but the sales person did not offer any apology or reply to my complaint.
