Do not use this company

Do not use this company, ordered edt only to be informed a week later it was out of stock. Told I’d receive a full refund back to payment card however full amount paid was not credited back to card.

Took 2 and a half months to arrive, with terrible customer service

Company is not based in the UK as their website would indicate. They took 10 working days to dispatch the item (claim it will take 5 at the maximum) and the item took forever to even get here.

I eventually opened a dispute / refund with them because it was taking forever but they were very roundabout with their returns process - "okay, fill in this form", which I did and emailed back. They then stalled for a while, then replied saying "we've had indication it's in the country so please wait a further 2 weeks and if you don't receive it then we'll refund you".
I waited more time and then tried to go forward with the refund but again they kept stalling "oh, we now have the tracking number for the item". In the end I gave up and ordered the same item from fragrancex which arrived in 4 days' time (from the US). A few days later then the order from Galaxy turned up which annoyed me - it took betewen 2.5 - 2.75 months to arrive. They refunded me the shipping cost which was the only positive
to come from this (well, and the fact that I eventually received it).

Oh yea, and I was also charged a currency conversion fee because the website is not based in the UK as the domain name would imply. Also I'm pretty sure that their order form captures your payment card details and does not actually go through a payment gateway, therefore are not PCI Compliant (e.g. your payment card details gets passed to the website's code itself, and then they take your card number and pass it onto a payment merchant). They should be loading in the payment form via the Payment gateway directly, so that your card details are never passed to Galaxy Perfumes themselves.
As a software engineer myself this is worrying, as you have no idea what could be done with your payment details on the back end of their systems. Also, Paypal is not accepted.

Awful customer service (woman named Dottie) who was argumentative and kept offering me refunds, and then going back on her word, and in the end she didn't even apologise for the delays. I would not recommend this company at all.

In my experience, good value and good service

I reviewed comments about Galaxy Perfume after I had made an order online for some perfume for my wife. Had I done this beforehand and though it could be argued, should routinely do so, I would have been influenced not to make any transaction, given the remarks posted.
However, in spite of having grave worries initially, I received a credible dispatch confirmation and shipping details and well within the twenty days estimate, the perfume was delivered in the manufacturer's packaging. My wife has checked the authenticity of the product and confirms this as entirely genuine. She is delighted - I am relieved and though I grant that some aspects of the Galaxy Perfume website, ie. it's apparent Birmingham based shopfront with no-one to answer the phone it seemed, did make me a little apprehensive, the outcome was very positive.

Please don't order from these guys

Please don't order from these guys. It's a drop shipping business that takes AGES to deliver - if it does ever get to you. I ordered on the 23rd of October. It is November 23 today and still no delivery. I checked the order tracking and it says order processed in Singapore and Order Shipped from LA. Seems like a shady operation - please don't make the mistake I did.

Late enough

Late enough, to lose your total excitement for your purchase. It will take forever to receive your product, especially in Australia. LOVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP.

My wife ordered some goods from Galaxy …

My wife ordered some goods from Galaxy Perfume before she read the reviews on here. I rang my bank to try to get payment stopped but they said it was too late. I also emailed Galaxy to ask for the order to be cancelled and money refunded but they said the order had already been shipped. I was resigned to being fleeced out of £80 but to my surprise the goods arrived today, 5 days after the order was placed so apologies to Galaxy Perfume for doubting their integrity and can only wonder why others have had such a negative experience.

Would give ZERO Stars if I could

False advertising..... I made a hurried purchase as an intended birthday gift & wis i'd read the's bad reviews first. They have a UK based Web address and quotes prices in pounds Sterling, but debits your card in US Dollars incurring additional forex charges. I was duped into believing I was dealing with a UK based company. It took ages to get a confirmation email of my order, and even longer for a tracking number. The parcel left Los Angeles (apparently) and transfered to Singapore where it has not moved in the best part of a month. Avoid GALAXY PERFUMES at all costs..... Thousands of dissapointed customers can't be wrong !!!!

This company should be shut down

This company should be shut down - Never trust 5 star reviews when they have only reviewed 1 company and always report people who vote 5 stars when they have 1 review and they are the only 5 star person!

This company has stolen £200 from me and are not based in the UK

Scam Website - DO NOT USE

Do not use this website.
It's a scam.
I ordered perfume on the 15th December.
It still has not arrived.
65 days have passed, or 9.2 weeks.
I doubt it will ever arrive.
I doubt I will get my £95 back.
You can't even track your purchase.
Please avoid.

Very slow delivery, price more than given on site.

I saw the price on Galaxy Perfumes was low and that they give an English address on the site. However they add VAT to the price and actually charge in US$ so my credit card company charged me commission on the price and in the end it was at least as expensive as most other prices online. Initially when I ordered I did not realise that it was actually being shipped via Singapore, so although it was ordered on 21st November it has only just arrived today, 5th January. It was intended for a Christmas present so I have contacted them several times - their Customer Service, whilst civil, simply advised me to look on the tracking site. The dates on this site have changed several times, they tried to blame the slow shipping on the Royal Mail strike (which went on for just a couple of days) but everything else has been delivered quickly.

The site address from which I bought was galaxyperfume.co.uk
I suspect that charging VAT in addition to the advertised price is a scam as the product clearly was not sold from the UK. Also there was no indication that I would be charged in dollars, adding to the price.

not received my order

I'm still waiting for my order to arrive. They don't reply to any emails. I wouldn't recommend using this site. I wish I had checked the reviews first.

My order was placed on19 December and it said 3/5 days for delivery. Very disappointed it was a Christmas present.

Very nervous about this company

I ordered a perfume from them nearly three weeks ago and have had no real luck in finding out when I can expect my delivery. Since then, I found this site with all the customer comments - I wish I had found it much earlier (i.e. before I decided to order from them). I feel very nervous about them and I have written to them twice, telling them that I wish to cancel my order. I have only had an automated reply. So I have told them that I will not accept any delivery from them and that if they try to take money from my account, I shall stop the transaction. I have asked them to confirm that they understand my wishes and to confirm that my order has been cancelled. I have had no response. This has served as a warning to me - that all may not be what it appears to be on these internet sites.

Terrible service

dont buy from them. They falsely advertise they are a European company but they ship from the US. Takes ages for the package to be shipped and you will likely pay import duties

Surprisingly pleased

After reading the reviews from this site I started wondering if I had made the right decision in buying something from this website.
I feel I have, it took 2-3 weeks for my perfume to arrive and was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lil birthday present to myself!!😍😍

DANGER DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

People are asking if they should use this company galaxy perfumes co uk...here are some facts to consider.
1. The company used to be called Perfume Emporium......
2. It gives a false UK address and telephone number. It ships from USA
3. You will either have to wait over 6 weeks for your order to arrive ....if at all.
4. You will be charged an Exchange rate by your bank or credit card company.
5. You may also be charged by Customs and Excise entering the UK. They will not deliver until paid.
6. When you eventually get your order check the perfume as ours smelt 'off, a musty smell' and quickly disappears.
7. You will have a bombardment of emails from Dottie who is THEE customer service person which ends in a slagging match...
But if you sadly have already placed your order just to cheer you up read Dottie's fragrance reviews they are hysterically ignorant....
White Diamonds "I would start a petition to ban this fragrance I find it so appalling I know people who 'where' and avoid them like the plague" this review I'm sure will not help the sales of Galaxy Perfumes.
Bleu de Chanel " I love this one and so does he so it is a big hit with both of us....very hot and sexy"
No mention if it is floral, spicy, woody etc , long lasting, evaporates quickly, to be worn day or evening, etc etc.....Update.... I have revisited the reviews on this company ( June 2020 - 4 years after my initial review ) and I see that the company is still causing distress to customers. I should also like to add that after purchasing from this company I had problems with my credit card. Please use a legitimate company that IS based in the UK. This company should be shut down in the USA. Shocking!

Misleading and still waiting for aftershave

This company in my option falsely advertised that it is a UK company but is in fact from USA. It also fails to mention that it takes weeks or possibly months to receive you goods, I ordered 3 weeks ago and still waiting. In addition what you think you are paying for is not the full amount as you are also hit with an Exchange rate.

MY ADVISE IS STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AND DON'T BOTHER CONTACTING THEM AS THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL.

Good Purchase, Large Selection

Got my item in perfect condition and they had a large selection of products, including a very hard to find fragrance that I have not been able to find elsewhere, would recommend.

DO. NOT. USE. Horrendous experience

In all my years i have never been so angry about a retailer.... what an absolute joke this company is. Don't bother buying a single thing from them as products take months to arrive in what must be the most backward and ridiculous online retailer setup i have ever come across. I order 2 small bottles of aftershave and after 6 weeks nothing is here....so i don't even know if i will receive anything. in 2015 how is that possible????? It's stuck at customs they have said... you what?? its a bottle of aftershave not ammunition. I have ordered untold amounts of products from all over the world and never come across such a slow and infruriating JOKE OF AN EXPERIENCE, Absolute, total, complete and utter rubbish. DON"T BOTHER
