My daughter got hand foot and mouth from being in the under threes area
Even giving one star seems too much. After making an accidental booking for the wrong place and realising my immediate mistake, I contacted gambado to cancel and request a refund. They denied this as it is not their policy to refund. Whilst I understand a policy, I explained it was a genuine oversight and I would not benefit from a credit as I don't live nearby to use this. One kind manager did contact the owner about this but they refused to give me a refund. My five year old was left in tears as we were unable to then afford an alternative place to book. What an awful money grabbing business!!!! Please don't give them any more of your money!!!
Had my daughters 5th bday, it was ruined by Ms Eleens the manager on duty attitude. Ms Eleen was aggressive, threatening towards me infront of the children and our guest. I was left embarrassed and very upset.Ms Eleen took advantage that I'm not a confrontational person and felt the need to behave the way she did with me. As regular visitors and held many of our children's parties there we WILL NEVER visit or book again with them.
Shocking experience! This place is literally falling apart, sensory spots don’t work, thunder stimulation tunnel doesn’t work, it’s dark-no lights in ball pit areas therefore barely can see anything….
We paid £37 for 4 of us for this torn down place!
Gambado, you should feel ashamed for asking for this ridiculously expensive entry fee for what you provide in Chelsea! All toilet facilities were out of order and the staff asked the customers and their children to use the toilets in the hotel next door. Unbelievable!
We used to visit this place regularly with our daughter when we had our Gambado family membership years ago…
Today we decided to take our daughter back to recall our nice memories and show our little one the centre. Although our 8 years old and our 2 years old enjoyed the session we felt robbed after paying the expensive entry tickets due to the outrageous state of the centre!
We used to love this place but you just lost a loyal, regular customer-family.
I tried to make a complaint and contacted Gambado via a social media platform for contact details to submit my feedback but apparently Gambado has NO headoffice or CEO which sounds very strange and I cannot believe it!
Avoid at all cost! Am writing for my experience with customer service for my future booking. I went online and booked a Sunday morning session. I contacted customer service by email because they won’t answer the phone. They only replied once to my email - there is no chance to change the date of the booking! There is no way I can make it. I didn’t want a refund or to change services. They want to keep your money at all cost. They won’t reply back to further emails! What a joke of a company. Anyone would do this type of a business they would know that looking after kids it can be unpredictable on certain things. Gambado, I hope you get richer after forcing me to give you my £24.50 and not having a chance on trying your exceptional service within the business. I take this to a more official complaint!
First time we went with our 18 months baby and will not return. Nothing much to do for under 3s. No one supervises under 3 soft play area (which is rather small) so 2 big kids (obviously more like 4-5 years old) ran in, started throwing things inside and unfortunately my daughter was hit by it. Must have been super painful. They were running so fast as well, and I was scared that they will knock off under 3s in the area. I told them that they are not allowed in the area but of course, they didn’t bother listening and their parents were nowhere to be seen. Older kids are running around everywhere so I didn’t feel safe letting my toddler to walk around in general. And all that noise and shouting from older kids.. I don’t think this is great for younger babies. The soft play area for under 3s was also rather limited, not a lot to do. Also I saw another kid (who was again above 3 years old and came into under 3s room as there is no one supervising at Gambado), running and getting tripped over near the slide so I don’t feel the area is safe. Lucky he didn’t fall on a baby or knocked off a baby!! Just the consequence of trying to squeeze in couple of things into a tight place. Overall, do not recommend for under 3s. Very overpriced for what it is, unsafe and limited things to do.
Not baby/toddler friendly or safe!
Went to the Chelsea one today with a friend and our 10 months old babies. The area for under 3s, early walkers - babies, was felt with older children. Some children probably up to the age of 10 (one girl wearing make up). We told the staff and one friendly staff member did come over and told the older children to leave. But no one listened and all the children stayed. Our babies did have fun, for the 30 mins we lasted, but we constantly had to be aware of older children running around and over our little crawling babies. Not a place I’ll come back to when it is so badly managed by staff and with parents (sitters) not caring either. What a shame!
Avoid this place at all cost. It’s dirty, they don’t clean it at all, your kid will probably take some sort of infections and not to talk about the extremely unpleasant and rude staff. Food is crap. Simply don’t go.
Gambado is family favourite for my family for over 15 years but to see so many closed leaving only the chelsea branch in London is sad... And my last visit was chaotic and awful.... But the manager did call after I complained and will give them another chance as it would be a shame to lose them
This place is not safe for the younger kids.
There is nobody supervising the area or controlling what is happening everywhere
The staff is not welcoming, not helpful and not happy
Food is worse than the school meals according to my kids
Very noisy
I do not recommend this place for the parents who wishes a nice day out, in fact, is a very stressful experience
I love the shoes, the quality is great and they are comfortable. The colour is beautiful, it can be combined with different pieces of clothes. I love this product, I got one already and I gave them to a friend, and now I repeated the order for my own son.
Refused to refund us our deposit back for my sons 1st Birthday despite them being closed due to covid-19. Was told that we can reschedule up to 6 months after they open or accept vouchers for the value of the deposit.
Under the law they must issue the refund something which they are currently refusing.
