Worst customer service ever. Not complying to EU laws. Better prices available elsewhere for 99% of their catalog. As an old gamer with more than 500 games in my steam account, this is one of the very few shops I'll never return to.

Great service. And was quick to deliver. I got nothing to complain about. Would definitely buy future deals. It's actually the first website of this type that I found a really good deal in and actually worked.

Reasonable prices, frequent promos, good support. Serious, no-nonsense, site.

Gamersgate allowed me to make a purchase without creating an account, then refused to send me a password (or let me reset my password) to create an account with that email... which they then required for me to access my purchase. Effectively they took my money then refused to give me my product. Steer clear - no "sale" is worth it if you don't get what you paid for.

Both keys and download manager worked.
A problem with the download manager was resolved by changing the firewall, so five stars.

Cheap games, but twice in a row now, im flagged for manual review and have to wait for my keys, what do you guys need to flag me as legit once and for all? i have been a customer since 2017

Bought 2 copies of subnautica, then had to wait for a staff review ? So we had to wait for an hour (or more) to get our keys, + the need to login to get the keys after the purchase... We got the key, but won't be using this site again to buy keys.

A little clunky experience with needing to create an account to reveal steam key AFTER purchase, but otherwise got exactly what I was looking for.

I bought from them multiple times. They are the original of key sellers who started it all. Other sites now dominate the market. Oh gee, I wonder why? Might be because of this kind of crap they pull. There site has hardly anything good ever. Their user interface is inferior to every other site. This site deserves to fail..

Don't even reply to my review with your pathetic apologies. I saw on other reviews you talk about trying to manage dealing with stolen CC and key resellers. Why is this other people's problem?

Want some advice? Put some effort into your website. It is ugly. The UI is garbage. Quit messing around your customers and that money you might potentially lose won't hurt so much because you are makign a lot more. But honestly, flagging me for a review over a $10 key contradicts what you said in other reviews on here. If I was trying to resell keys, wouldn't I be purchasing a lot more than a single $10 CAD key? A little common sense goes a long way, but the fact your site is still stuck in the stone age shows how little effort or common sense you have..

Even your emails go to trash mail. I guess that explains everything

Cheap games and great customer service

I have used Gamersgate sporadically since 2013 and have never had a bad experience with them.
I recently bought some cheap Steam games on there but by my own mistake I did not notice they were actually DRM FREE (not Steam keys).

Michael on the service was very helpful and gave me a refund. He also gave me some helpful info about where to look if the game is a Steam key or DRM free on the website.

A legit, decent PC games store that has good deals that I trust. Games for many other services (Ubisoft, Steam, Rockstar), some are even DRM-free. You even get coupons for your next purchases!

You can check that they work with many publishers (check "Information" at the bottom of the page) and keys actually come from them.

Support times are good, I contacted them to add a DLC tag to the DLC (∀kashicbox Vol.2, bought it but it asked for the main game activation on Steam ∀kashicforce, but looks like still haven't been tagged as a DLC lol, I don't mind it since I got it on like 50% sale) and got a response in a good time frame.

Would like to see DRM-free games in "My Games" library to be separate from the ones that are with DRM (or at least sorting by platform in "My Games").

Wanted to expand on the review before someone's first purchase, sometimes when you buy something, it's under "manual review", don't panic it takes a couple of minutes (from 5 to 45) which is inconvenient first time, but after many purchases I rarely had any problem (I'm using the same purchase information).
Mostly happens when I buy in two batches when I see more good deals, but missed some first time.

You can always try to contact support (that's how it went first time when I wanted to buy "Unreal Deal" Pack for me and my friends), got answer in 10 minutes and I got my keys, but may differ if you live in another time zone (since I'm from Europe).

They will happily charge your credit card, but you won't be able to actually access the games immediately because "your order has been flagged for manual review"

Unlike almost every other online game story, GamersGate offers prices adjusted to my region/currency - matching Steam prices. This itself helps immensely because games otherwise in US$ pricing are more often than not a lot more expensive (up to 2-3x). Have had no issues buying games through GamersGate and receiving redeemable Steam keys on time.

First time used the website to pre-order Starfield Premium Edition (6 days before the launch). The site had 17% off, which is a great deal on a latest game. I'm astonished how less known this site is. The purchase was swift.

Although, my product went into a manual review, which does sound archaic for 2023, but I think this is because of the site's strict rules. However, the manual review only took 10 to 15 minutes. The activation key came immediately, and I activated it without any problems. Many sites are giving the key a day before or on the same day of release. So this was muchhhh better :D

I hope more people learn about this site and use it!

Bought a game (rainbow six siege) and didn't get the game after multiple attempts of trying to activate the game and still not getting it. I wound up bying it from G2A instead and got it directly so all their comments about ubisoft having laggy servers are not true.

Gamersgate has competitive pricing and wide selection. Their customer service is also top notch . Bought a game that was for controllers only and the next day I got a refund . Andrew the advisor made it all happen . He was great. Great place to buy games at great prices.
