ZERO ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT OPTIONS !!!

*** PLEASE NOTE *** THIS REVIEW IS POSTED BY MYSELF ON BEHALF OF MY WIFE WHO IS VISUALLY IMPAIRED AND PARIALLY BLIND WITH NEUROLOGICAL PROBLEMS ***

GARDENER'S KITCHEN HAVE AN AMAZING RANGE OF CHOICE, THE ITEMS ARRIVE WELL PACKAGED & PROTECTED IN BLISTER PACKS.
I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE ACTUAL ITEMS.
UNFORTUNATELY I WON'T BE BUYING FROM THEIR WEBSITE AGAIN UNTIL THEY OFFER MORE PAYMENT OPTIONS.

CURRENTLY THE ONLY WAY TO PAY IS THROUGH PAYPAL. I PERSONALLY AND NO DOUBT THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE ABHOR PAYPAL FOR VARIOUS REASONS. MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THEM IS DREADFUL, MY ACCOUNT WAS COMPROMISED BY HACKING AND STEALING MY INFORMATION. I TRIED DELETING MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT, BUT THEY WON'T ALLOW IT . SO I I'VE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO LEAVE IT FALLOW AND NOT USE IT ANYMORE.

GARDENER'S KITCHEN REALLY NEED TO BROADEN THEIR CUSTOMER BASE BY BEING INCLUSIVE AND OFFER MORE PAYMENT OPTIONS. I HAVE ALREADY SUGGESTED THIS TO THEM, IT DOESN'T TAKE A SEASON TO ADD PAYMENT OPTIONS TO A WEBSITE. IT COULD BE DONE WITHIN A WEEK!!!
I'VE BEEN GARDENING FOR OVER 50 YEARS, AND ALTHOUGH THE ERA OF GOING TO TO A TRADITIONAL GARDEN CENTRE WHERE THE TILL WAS WOODEN WITH A KEY HAS GONE.
GOOD OLD CUSTOMER SERVICE NEVER GOES OUT OF FASHION !!

I CANNOT BELIEVE A COMPANY WITH SUCH A FANTASTIC WEBSITE AND ARRAY OF PRODUCTS, ARE LET DOWN BY THEIR PAYMENT SYSTEM.🙁😡

I USED TO BUY THEIR PRODUCTS ON EBAY AND TRANSITIONED TO THEIR WEBSITE.
THE SAME PRODUCTS ON EBAY THAT THEY SELL ARE £4 EXTRA PER ITEM, WHICH IS DAYLIGHT ROBBERY COMPARED TO THEIR WEBSITE !!!

GARDENERS KITCHEN NEED TO REALISE THAT THERE IS NO 'ONE SIZE FITS ALL' WHEN IT COMES TO GARDENERS !!
THERE ARE VISUALLY IMPARED AND GARDENERS WITH VARIOUS HEALTH ISSUES AND DISABILITIES, MANY OF WHOM FIND GARDENING THERAPEUTIC AND RELAXING.
CURRENTLY THEY HAVE NO PLANS ON UPDATING THE WEBSITE TO OFFER GOOGLE PAY, PAY WITH DEBIT CARD, OR PAYMENT OVER THE TELEPHONE WITH STRIPE.

IT'S SUCH A SHAME THEY HAVE A MARVELLOUS WEBSITE, FANTASTIC PRODUCE, THE SENSE TO PACKAGE IT WELL KNOWING WHAT THE UK POSTAL SYSTEM IS LIKE!

THEY ARE LET DOWN BY NOT OFFERING ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT METHODS.
ULTIMATELY EXCLUDING WHOLE SECTIONS OF SOCIETY AND HOLDING THE DISABLED AND NON DISABLED TO RANSOM UNLESS THEY HAVE AN ACTIVE PAYPAL ACCOUNT.

PERSONALLY I'D LIKE TO BUY QUITE A LOT OFF THEIR WEBSITE, I'M NOT PREPARED TO COMPROMISE AND BE RIPPED OFF ON EBAY BY THEIR PRICES FOR THE SAME PRODUCTS.
SO SADLY I WILL HAVE TO BUY ELSEWHERE UNTIL I CAN PAY BY ANOTHER METHOD.

I'M REALLY UPSET ABOUT THIS, GARDENING IS MY LIFELINE AS IT IS FOR MANY PEOPLE.
I HAD A STROKE IN 2019 AND GARDENING SAVED ME. IT'S THE ONE THING I CAN STILL DO THAT I'VE BEEN DOING SINCE I WAS KNEE HIGH TO A GRASS HOPPER.🦗

EVERY SEASON I LOOK FORWARD TO PURCHASING LOTS OF PLANTS, I WAS DELIGHTED TO DISCOVER GARDENERS KITCHEN ON EBAY ORIGINALLY, I FOUND THEIR WEBSITE AMAZING AS I SAID BEFORE .

PLEASE PLEASE UPDATED ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT OPTIONS BEFORE SUMMER BEGINS , OR AT LEAST OFFER A DIFFERENT WAY TO PAY IN THE MEANTIME.

IT WOULD BE A NICE GESTURE TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE WEBSITE, THAT ALTERNATIVE WAYS TO PAY ARE AVAILABLE BY TELEPHONE AT LEAST, WHILST WEBSITE OPTIONS ARE UPDATED.

GARDENS KITCHEN- YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC PRODUCT DON'T LET NARROW-MINDEDNESS AND OSTRACIZATION OF YOUR CUSTOMER BASE RUIN A GOOD THING .

Excellent plants and service

I ordered Courgettes, French Beans, Beetroot and Radishes from Gardeners Kitchen. The plants were a good price, bigger than I expected and they have settled in really quickly plus the delivery was fast and the packaging protected the plants.

First class customer service.

Ordered 2x3 Pepinex cucumber plants via Amazon website. Arrived within 48hrs, very healthy plants which were well packaged. Unfortunately the comprehensive packaging could not prevent one plant being damaged (snapped stem) during transit. Emailed Gardnerskitchen and received reply stating replacement being sent, which when received consisted of whole replacement order (6 new plants). First class customer service which is well received. Recommended.

Ordered three medium sized plants

Ordered three medium sized plants. Sprouts,Swede and Chard White Silver. Received the order but instead of Chard medium plants they sent six blocks of multi seedling Fordhook Giant Chard. E mailed and then they asked for a photo (as they said they did not grow that variety)which we sent but they never acknowledged.After chasing up with three e mails we never received a reply. Their customer service is non existent and thank you to Ed(whoever that may be) for ignoring all attempts to communicate. What a poor example for the company! Don't buy from them.
