Ordered star jasmine. Absolutely beautiful. Big , healthy plant with lots of new leaves and flower buds. Delivery took a few weeks , but that’s fine . Will definitely be ordering more things from them .

I ordered a Musa basjoo in a 25ltr pot (128 pounds including postage )however what arrived here was a damaged ( in transit I think ) Musa in a pot so small in actually fitted inside a bucket !!!! So deffinitly not a 25 ltr pot . I was furious , so garden plants online were going to send the plant I actually ordered , just now the delivery driver turned up with a Musa basjoo in a pot that’s looks the same size as the previous one so NOT A 25ltr pot !!!! I did not accept the delivery and the driver took the inferior Musa basjoo with him that had been delivered weeks ago .If you cannot source Musa basjoo plants in 25ltr pots you should not offer them for sale!!!!! I paid for a top of the range and that is not what you providing ,
You promised to send me the plant I ordered and you have not done that . I want a full refund !!!!! You are still offering Musa basjoo in 25ltr pots for sale , can you actually source these ?????????? So I have paid good money and still have nothing .
I will in future shop at independent garden centres where I can see what I am actually buying and I can see the people I’m dealing with.

ordered a magnolia in July 2024
I ordered a magnolia in July 2024. Delivered after delay as they said it was difficult to source. Arrived in autumn so didn't realise until the spring that it was the wrong type. I was told just to keep the wrong one and they would give me free postage for the correct one.Since then they have been trying to source the correct one. Initially i was kept reasonably well updated for the first delay however in october 2025 I contacted them to ask for an update. They apologised for not getting back to me, they said there had been a major change of staff. They then said early in the new year 2026. There followed several promises of dates in april, in fact one e mail states end of spril at the latest. Finally someone told me on the phone that it would definitely be delivered on 11 may. We were getting back from holiday the day before and I wanted to be ready to receive it. We stayed in but as we hadnt heard from the delivery company or the plant company I phoned to check when it was likely to arrive. It turned out they still hadn't one in stock. When I expressed frustration they said oh we can get one to you next week! I dont understand how you can advertise a plant for sale when you don't know if you have a source. I have now asked for a refund although I havent had acknowledgement of my e mail requesting this. They got 2 stars rather than 1 star due to initial contact and Ruby was nice to deal with. The response to my review was disappointing as I felt , apart from saying the wrong plant was delivered in winter, when it was autumn( mistake on my part) my comments were correct. I didn't just off the top of my head expect to have a plant delivered the day I got back from holiday, that would be delusional. I was actually told it would be delivered that day. I hope this is finally resolved when I get my refund.

Your placed your order in July, in August as it is a quiet period we have no deliveries operating this month for a couple weeks, you received your plant in September (Autumn).
As mentioned throughout the process, sourcing living plants is inherently dependent on availability at the time of dispatch—not at the time of initial confirmation, nor at the time a delivery is optimistically anticipated after a holiday.
Magnolia sieboldii in a 125–150 cm size is a specialist ornamental shrub that is a variety harder to source but our growers were working to get this for you and replace your initial plant received.
We also note your frustration regarding updates. These were provided as and when stock information was confirmed, rather than as placeholders or assumptions.
We trust this brings the matter to a close and wish you better alignment between expectations and reality in future orders elsewhere.
Poor quality plant
Unfortunely the bougainvillea I bought arrived very pot bound, dry and the top of the pot was covered in moss. The leaves look very tired and some are brown. I sent photos and was told that the roots are healthy and moss is harmless. I’m in the trade and it’s a sign of poor plant management. I was offered a discount off my next purchase which I won’t be taking.
Their response says it all. For the record I have extensive horticultural experience.

As per our drivers photo and photos you received from ourselves, we explained to you that due to transport shock, certain plants may undergo stress at times which is normal when moving plants from our Italian nursery to the UK. Bougainvillea can be sensitive to changes in temperature, light, and watering conditions.
Yes, moss is harmless and simply develops from moisture over time. It does not indicate disease or poor plant health. We have also given advice for steps to help repot and remove leaves as new ones will continue to establish.
Our plants are sourced, grown and handled by our experienced growers in Italy, then to the UK with our drivers. You may be in ''the trade'' as a designer but your claims of ''poor plant management'' would be untrue.
We are more than happy to withdraw our offer of a discount in goodwill on a future purchase in response to this negative review as customers such as yourself are best to go to a local garden centres or Amazon.

Amazing plant arrived; Cordyline Palm. It arrived in a really healthy condition. Well worth the money. Would definitely purchase another or other plants from Garden Plants. Very happy.

Huge climber for the fence
Bought a huge climber for the fence. It was well over the 6ft I was expecting and very healthy looking. Did have a bit of a wait for delivery but they kept me informed. I thought it was great value for money and has given immediate impact now its planted and spread out along the fence. Could not have got such a good deal at garden centre and worth the wait.

extremely misleading delivery times
The website does not clearly state what plants will have longer delivery times, I paid £85 for a delivery that stated 10 working days. It will be a month when the plants are finally delivered despite being told 10 days ago and then again 5 days ago that they were ready for dispatch. They refused to refund the items which is also not clearly stated when you order. I would not recommend ordering from this website

You may have missed '' if its regular UK based stock item, we aim to deliver within 3-5 working days, however if you order something very special, we will have to move it for you from our Italian nursery which usually take around 10-12 days, however might take longer. Almost every product we delivering within 30 days, however sometimes customers ordering seasonal plants which are not ready yet for the season,''
Under all products on our website it states the estimated date of delivery depending on your postcode and under the product in Delivery Information you will find all the information you need here.
We wished to get this earlier to you however, due tue to un controllable situatiuons during the transportation of your item, it would be later but still within the timeframe explained above.
Our Operations lady emailed you on Friday to advise she will get back to you today (Tuesday) regarding an update from management for the refund of the delivery charge you requested to discuss.
I highly doubt this will be approved after leaving this review before we could try come to a resolution with you.

I Have Completed A Mature Garden Within 10 Months!
I have just completed designing a Mediterranean Climbing Wisteria, Climbing Jasmine wall garden working with a small garden landscape design.
I have built the big into the mini.
A Royal Heritage garden design concept.

Paid for large, got sent small, out of pocket £100
Unfortunately having paid £150 for a tree in the largest size option, they sent me the smallest (advertised at £65). When I raised it, the first response was to try to explain why it was my error and they had sent the right plant. When I sent measurements and screenshots from their website, they told me that unfortunately they didn't have the large size, so refunded me the difference in price. However, they refunded the difference to the medium size (a £96 plant), not the difference to the small size that they sent. And in any case I didn't want the small size. They have now gone silent, and I have paid £96 for a small plant that I didn't and don't want. What they sent was not what was advertised, and they are not sorting it out.
They have replied here to deny my claims, but I have photos, and of course still the 5 litre pot plant. But this misses the point - even refunding the difference to the small plant would still not be what I want, and would still leave me out of pocket for a plant I didn't want. They advertised X, I paid for X, they gave me something different I didn't want, and refuse to return and refund. And as you can see below, imply its my error. It's a trading standards issue.

As discussed with our Customer Service agent and management it was advised that the 10 litre was unfortunately sent in error from our Italian nursery rather than 15 litre.
It was infact the 10 litre delivered '''medium'' sized plant and not 5 litre as per your claims.
You were refunded the correct amount and had also been given a 10 pound promo code to use on the 3rd of March.
As the 15 litre pot is unavailable you were refunded the difference as per dimensions given.
All sorted.
Unfortunately I was Unable to remove previous 1* review. Issue now resolved. The company has since refunded me and addressed the concerns raised. Updating to reflect this.
