I have emailed Garmin about an issue with my watch, where the glass of the screen is falling off the watch, for no reason, and they haven't replied to me. For watches that are so expensive I would expect a better customer service, the watch is a few years old but I would like a reply none the less.

Poor Quality - do not buy!
Bought the Garmin Sq2 Music Edition watch - the screen cracked within 7 weeks just with me wearing it on my wrist!! Must be a fault in the watch but Garmin support wasn’t helpful and wants me to buy a new watch! Very expensive, if I was going to buy 2 watches in 7 weeks, I would have just bought an Apple Watch from the start. Don’t waste your money

They totally messed up my delivery
They totally messed up my delivery. Now it's costing me more money to courier the item to the correct address. This was even after got confirmation from their customer support department that the address has been changed.
I sent 5 emails in between ordering and the item being delivered. All went unanswered.
Well done Garmin, you couldn't have messed it up even more if you actually tried.
Garmin Watch. Overpriced and not fit for purpose.
My Garmin watch was meant to be water resistant to 50 metres. It even has a swimming App on it. First time I used it in a pool, it died. Sent back under 2 year warranty and they say there are none in stock to replace it.
My experience is, Garmin products are overpriced crap and the warranty is worthless.

Had a fault on a Garmin 700 Sat Nav which was covered with a 2 year warranty. Thankfully Garmin made it easy to exchange for a new device.
A BIG thank you to Garmin UK for sorting things out for me as I use it for my work as a class 1 driver.
Garmin Bounce - Unreliable
My son loves the watch and was very excited to get it. Unfortunately, its battery life is nowhere near the 2 days advertised (which itself is not long). Also, the messaging service is slow and we have had experiences where messages don't reach the watch till long after they were sent. In the worst example, 2 days after sending!! This makes it highly unreliable. The matter of battery drain I have tried to raise with Garmin Support and they have not been forthcoming with resolving the problem. I would not buy this product again and certainly do not recommend it.
Disposable expensive watches
Bought the premium model 6x pro solar saphir. Paid over 700 euros.
6 months later battery overheated and burnt my wrist. Garmin was afraid I would sue and changed the watch in 48h. No question asked.
1 year later the new watch has one button not working and does not charge anymore. Pure garbage for such an expensive device.

Used Garmins for years without issue - my watch developed screen burn just after a year and I contacted customer support, after a couple of emails I have received a replacement watch. Happy with the service I received.
Cheap crap
Appalling company. Bought a watch that broke after FIVE WEEKS of use. Garmin refused to do anything about it. I’m not surprised that they’ve not claimed this profile - they clearly don’t want to hear about how crap their products are and will just continue to sell cheap tat at way overinflated prices. Do yourself a favour and spend your money on anything but this garbage.
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. Ordered a Garmin 2 plus on 02/08/23. It’s now the 17/08/23 and the item hasn’t been dispatched. When placing the order it stated it would take between 2-3 weeks to dispatch so still within this time period I messaged Garmin via social media and was informed it wouldn’t be dispatched until the 4/9/23 and even then it was a “should” be dispatched. Absolutely useless, I urge you to not waste your money with this company that has clearly plummeted downhill judging by all recent reviews and if you want a Garmin watch shop elsewhere than directly with the site. Useless service.
First Garmin watch (Venu 2 Plus)
Received my first Garmin watch (Venu 2 Plus) last week after upgrading from Fitbit.
So far so good, I am enjoying the data and learning about all the bits that it can do.
The watch is a nice design, battery life is great and the app has good functionality.
I haven't had to use Garmin's customer service team so I cannot comment on that.

Bought a new garmin XT920 watch a few years back. It worked really well until now, the rechargeable battery is faulty. I went to the garmin shop, they told me that they are not maintaining this model anymore, and that i just have to TRASH it........ how disappointing! They did not even propose to recycle the old model......!

Had a rectified device sent in…
Had a rectified device sent in replacement for a recently purchased new device. Not to pleased paying full price and having a replacement device. However garmin responded well and I received the device within a couple of days. However the rectified device started playing up. Called garmin did the usual to try to rectify device. They asked me to send a video in. That was for days ago!!! Sent couple of emails no reply. Had a few garmin devices over the years never a problem. If this is how they treat their customers I will not be buying from garmin again.
Horrendous product and really bad customer service
I would rate Garmin 0 stars if it were possible. Do not buy Garmin Mini 2 dash cam, it does not work and either does the garmin drive app. Their customer service is horrendous Don't waste your money, purchase a different brand. I will never purchase another Garmin product, EVER.
Disappointing part replacement parts and poor quality control.
This is directed at The Garmin and their UK store about their customer service.
I bought a Tacx Flow Smart Trainer in 2020. It is less than three years old, it has had minimal use and you can still buy The Flow on The Garmin UK site.
I have had a number of issues with quality within the two years guarantee, which were resolved. However I now have a broken resistance unit lever, part 2021.22. I first emailed Garmin UK and got no reply. I then phoned Garmin UK. They could not supply the cheap lever, but offered me a full resistance unit for £87. I find it very disappointing that Garmin cannot supply a basic replacement part which is necessary for an expensive piece of kit to work.
Update 1/8/23.
I am improving my score from one star to three stars. Since my last posting I emailed Garmin again. This time, I believe my email went to Garmin Europe. They have supplied the lever for £5.
I do not feel I can score Garmin higher than three stars, because of their initial response and the several quality issues I have had with my Tacx Flow Smart Trainer since I bought it from them in 2000.
Very poor support for a very expensive device
Spent about 8 weeks troubleshooting with Garmin support, exchanging 40+ emails about the sleep tracking not working on my watch after an update. Sometimes I'd wait a few days for a response, only for them to ask me to send one more thing they could have asked for before. Their support seems very disorganized, at one point the same person opened a second case number without telling me and emailed me from both at once to ask for totally different pieces of information.
Eventually they returned the device, didn't give me any other options or even let me know it was being returned just sent me a label. Of course, the new watch has the exact same issue, and they wanted me to return that one as well! I asked to speak to a manager, they ignored this request. I asked them to return the watch for a refund or upgrade me to a better one that didn't have the issue, they said no and that "Sleep issues can be found on any watch" so there is no point upgrading because the sleep tracking doesn't work on any watch they make.
As much as I would love to endlessly get replacement watches and return them(!), at this point I'm going to cut my losses and look elsewhere.
You Get Garbage and Lousy Service for Your Money
Bought nearly 3k of equipment, which was defecttive upon startup.
Called for help, they knew nothing of the problem, wanted to send me things and charge me shipping.
When I asked about why I would be charged for this and whether they actually knew what the problem was, the rep immediately got condescending and in her absurd tone explained that 'this was a learning curve' and we would have to work through the options, after I'd spent 3 grand on their garbage equipment that they did not know how to fix and wanted me to pay shipping on their trial and error process.
Their products are trash and ther service is worse.
I am within the warranty period and will be returning every bit of their garbage.
Fenix 6s smartwatch malfunction
Fenix 6s smartwatch bought Aug 2020 approx £450.
Good for 2 years 10 months.
Top right button now malfunctioning making the watch useless for recording activities.
Contacted Garmin support. Poor experience. Misleading information, after 30 minutes offered a replacement but no repair option. Replacement at £166. Then cut off the chat.
I won't take that up and will avoid Garmin for the replacement.
