Just purchased and picked up 6 large gate hinges and fixings. The company were extremely helpful and polite to deal with, sorting out the best deal for us. The hinges and fixings were superb quality, very strong, and we will be going back for more in the future. Plus they have a great dog :)
I bought 2 sets of gate hinges plus some other bits. The website is easy to use and the pricing seems to be about right but the quality of the products is nothing short of horrendous!! The finish quality is appalling, there are weld splatters on the face of the hinges which there is no excuse for, sharp edges on two the hinges, runs in the finish and bubbles in the powder coating!! How can this pass quality control? In fairness to them, they did offer a refund if I sent the items back, but how does that help when the hinges are needed the next day?!! I have now had to spend my time and money rectifying the problems and refinishing the hinges, I explained this via email to 1st fix but have had no response, I guess customer satisfaction is pretty low on the list..
Great product, but truly awful customer service. What a shame when you come across such a super product offer from a small company, but they let it down with terrible communication and weak systems and then they get very upset when you want your money back promptly when they do not deliver when they said they would. I would love to recommend on product choice, but based on service will never use again.
