AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I placed an order a month ago with 'Express Shipping'. 17 days later they sent me one third of my order. ZERO customer support. No reply to emails. (I've sent 3 emails to support over 3 weeks) No phone support. (I tried over 10 times, no answer) No reply on Live Chat. (I've been waiting over 1 hour, queue position hasn't changed).
ITEMS THAT ARE LISTED AS 'IN STOCK' ARE NOT!
The items I'm yet to receive are still listed on their website as 'in stock' with both 'Express' and 'Same Day' shipping available.
DO NOT ORDER. They will take your money and then ignore you.

They displayed an item as in stock. When it was never sent I was told it was '...heavily backordered...it will be at least 3-5 months away'. Now they are refusing to refund the $3,000 to my bank account. Considering the item was heavily backordered I believe this was a malicious business practice to trap new customers. Very unethical, huge headache and waste of time.
Ordered 13th December - still no goods.
Ordered a lens ($1800) on 13th December. Made an initial inquiry about delivery and told "before Christmas". Nothing arrived. Checked again on 31st December and told "been a delay" Lens (allegedly) in store but has to be sent to the wharehouse for dispatch. Told to expect it "some time next week". Informed the sales rep that I had missed the opportunity of using lens over Christmas and I was going away Thursday this week. Response "Oh that's too bad." I mentioned that there was no advice provided at time of ordere there was a delay in dispatch - response - "Oh I don't know why you werent informed."
Have cancelled the order and will be watching for how long it takes to get a refund....most likely longer than the purchase!
I note this is not the first review where customers have not received their goods in a timely manner.
I would not recommend this store to anyone doing online purchase.
Not transparent enough, unkown wait times!
Ordered a camera around 3-4 weeks ago (was so excited at the time), turns out it wasn't actually in stock and when I used the live chat option today (30 min wait) I was informed that the wait time could extend up to another 4-6 weeks due to the stockists being closed, but this was only an approximate. The one positive was that when I requested a refund in the chat this was handled very quickly by the representative (Conor).
* NEGATIVES: 1. The live chat (which I used twice since my order was placed) can be up to 30 mins wait for someone to jump on. 2. The phone number for Georges' doesn't even connect when you call it (I tried about 10x on different days with no success). 3. Lack of transparency on the website about approx. wait times for shipping of the order or when it will next be in stock.
* POSITIVES: Refund process was easy.

I purchased items from Georges late November, I didn't receive any follow up emails about delivery process (despite paying extra for 'fast delivery'). Attempted to contact them 3 times via email and call their store. No responses from their team. It's been 6 weeks and still do not have my products. Don't put yourself through the hassle of purchasing from this company. 1 star is polite

Received random email yesterday saying stock not available until May… I wrote back immediately asking for a refund and now no response… I’ve tried all day calling and messaging to no avail. saw a website price and went into the shop as it said it was in stock. It wasn't in stock and the price was $500 more than the online google search under their name. ?
Waited in the shop for about 15 minutes to be served and experienced all this. Pretty shabby and reading the other reports it's obvious they promote out of stock stuff.

Firstly, the website is misleading. The items I ordered were listed as in stock, but this is clearly not the case. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them about my order, I have received no response. Emails have gone unanswered, and the phone number provided on your website does not connect when called.
This lack of communication and failure to provide accurate information about stock availability is unacceptable.

Drop shippers posing as a retail store, took my order, paid a small fortune for express post, then they wanted me to wait 21 days for the product to arrive at there so called Warehouse before they posted it express! Then charged me 10% of the total value for the order to be Cancelled! "Beware" Sharks Lie in this tank! "What a Scam"

BUYERS BEWARE! FALSE ADVERTISING
They falsely advertised items as "In stock" on their website, when in reality, they didn’t have them. When I reached out to their support team, I was misled with promises that my order would be ready for pickup "tomorrow." This turned into a frustrating two-week ordeal, during which I had to chase them multiple times.
They ignored my emails entirely, and when I contacted them via online chat, every operator gave me conflicting reasons for the delay. Finally, one operator admitted they didn’t have one of the items in stock. Despite this, the item remained falsely listed as "In stock" on their website, and no corrections were made after I pointed to that.
The lack of transparency and accountability strongly suggests deliberate false advertising. It’s unacceptable to mislead customers and then fail to provide honest communication or timely resolutions.
I do content creation professionally, spend significant amounts on gear every year, and I expected better service from a store with their reputation. I won't be shopping here again and would never recommend them to anyone.
Constant disappointment
Constant disappointment. I should know by now. They will take your money, and then inform you week/s later that they don't have the item/s. Even after you check stock and message them. They will then proceed to update you with delays for a plethora of reasons, and you will spend your precious time following up your own order. I am currently trying to get them to simply ship a battery that was in stock on November 5. It is December 5 now. They have now told me that they will try and get it shipping in the next week. I spoke to them on November 14 and they said they would ship the next day. I waited 2 months for my previous order with constant 'promises' and delays.

Poor Service Long wait
Purchased a Drone. Took over a month to send it. Terrible communication. By the time i received the drone it was $80 cheaper on their website. Not Happy. Would not recommend dealing with these people. They constantly pass blame to supplier or to their warehouse
Terrible business model
Terrible business model - you shop online in the belief that they have stock to sell but they don't. Everything is ordered in once you have paid your money. I've ordered lenses and film from these guys and every time I do, I regret it. Such a dreadful shopping experience. I ordered some film from the UK, and it arrived as promised two weeks before the film from Georges has even left them, and all the time they keep telling me it is with a supplier in Australia. I'm still waiting for my film.......
They make a big deal in their advertising that they were established in 1981 - I wonder if some people who placed orders then are still waiting for their goods.......

Items not in stock, we tried to get a refund (Items not shipped after a week) and was told If I cancel they'll charge 10% for the privilege of getting my money back.
One of the items will be available next week apparently and the other the week after that...

Will not be using this business again. Sells items that are on backorder without notification on the sites that the items aren't in stock.
Customer service is almost non-existent. Took me chasing them up after 2 weeks to find out my items weren't in stock. Then they finally sent one out of 2 items over a month later, with no notification that the second item wasn't included. I then had to chase them again for the refund of the second item, that took them over a week to process.
