no help and reachability in emergency…
the car broke down on the motorway and was defective and needed to be towed and repair ed. we tried to reach the drivers assistance for 2 days without success to clarify what happens with the booking and get a refund. the automated calling system just said an error has occurred call later. an email was answered unhelpfully almost a day after the incident, with the offer to call back. The call back happened 2 more days later (3 after incident). By then, I have written 2 more emails and threatened further escalation and my booking was finally cancelled and refunded before the call back even happened. getaround might be ok when everything works, but if there is anything going wrong do not count on getting any information or assistance.

Getaround blocked accounts permanently…
Getaround blocked accounts permanently when you move places and changed your driving License.
I had no explanations from Valerie (Vetting) - Getaround ticket #12526124

I just asked further explanation and I am willing to remove this when resolved. Until then, I advised NOT to use them and please do not move places or change your Driving license, you shall be banned forever to no reason. I will contact to consumer services on this one, for I feel unfairly treated after using them for at least 7 or 9 years...

Great renting
I was pretty easy to pick up the car and everything.
The only thing, I would criticise is the light of the car, which was really dark. But except this, everything was fine

Everything went very well.
The car pick-up and drop-off went smoothly. The car was in very good condition. Georges is a very friendly, reliable and helpful young man. Everything went great. I'd be happy to do it again.

Do not recommend
Do not recommend, use a normal rental instead. We had a car malfunction during the rental not from our fault (the car has not been serviced and was in bad shape), and the customer service was of no help, we did not get the refund and the customer service just kept redirecting us back and forth with no clear answer.

everything was ok, only identification took very long
everything was ok. the only thing making me nervous: i had to identify myself shortly bevore getting the car and that didn‘t work for 15minutes. that was scary because i was afraid to not come further. personal contact would be more comfortable in that case!
