Missed the show and lost my money....

My tickets were sent 5 days before the show and they got lost at UPS. I could not get a hold of Get Me In! the contact number they provided did not work and their website provides no assistance.

UPS could not help me - they said the sender had to contact them. So I missed the show and lost out on over $200 for the tickets.

Thank Get Me In! you are the absolute worst service I have ever used.

Katy Perry O2

I ordered tickets to see Katy Perry at the O2. when i received the tickets they were incorrect sitting in the upper tier and not by the stage as expected. I called Get Me In and I spoke to a rep who told me to email them with photos of the tickets, I did this and was then told to email the last minute tickets team. I got a refund of half my money and got to keep the tickets i had which i felt was a fair compromise. I would have given the full 5 stars but i think the website could give a bit more information on how to contact Get Me In.

**STILL ZERO legal stance for what you are attempting to do to me

EDIT FOLLOWING GETMEIN RESPONSE**

I have re-read section 3.6 in all T&Cs including User Agreement, Seller Agreement and Buyer Agreement.

Once again, I stress - nowhere in any of these conditions does it specify, state or even suggest that Getmein can force a seller to offer a discount - which doesn't even get passed on to the buyer!

Your own terms are on the site for all to see.

When will you admit that you made up the extra 20% fee without any legal footing to do so?

It is not in black and white - anywhere!

Directing me to 'section 3.6' is a ploy to deliberately try and fob me off.

Legally, this mis-advice is worrying to say the least.

I am shocked and appalled at how I have been treated throughout this process - with no apology for your incompetence, sub-par service and clearly illegal practices.

Will anyone from Customer Service actually contact me to rectify - or at least CLARIFY this absolute circus????

I will ignore the fact that it has taken you 4 days to respond to an email marked ‘urgent’ - and indeed, this response has only been sent the day AFTER the event - leaving me no way to rectify the situation.

I have read the Seller Terms & Conditions.

In line with the T&Cs, as well as the email I received from Gatyo in Customer Services on 7/6/18 - I sourced replacement tickets for the buyer of equal or greater value. I also understand that the buyer needs to formally accept these tickets before dispatching - fair enough.

However - NOWHERE does it state in the Terms and Conditions that the Seller will need to forfeit an additional 20% on the amount agreed.

Surely - if the replacement tickets are of equal or greater value - which these tickets WERE(!) - there would be no need for an additional forfeiture as there has been NO FINANCIAL LOSS on the clients side?

Speaking with Tina in Customer Services on Thursday 14th June - she confirmed - as you will hear on the call - that it was not the buyer who asked for the additional 20% off - but Getmein - who requested this.

From reading the T&Cs, Getmein has ZERO LEGAL STANCE to force sellers to offer an additional 20% off replacement tickets - or face further charge - with the ONLY! requirements being that:

A) Tickets sourced are of equal or greater value
B) Buyer is okay to accept them

Please show me exactly where in the Seller T&Cs (as of March 2018) when I listed the tickets - the EXACT TERM that states that even when you source a replacement ticket for the buyer - you will still need to forfeit an additional 20% - at GetmeIns UNWRITTEN request.

Please - show me where this term is in your T&Cs.

If it is, in fact NOT in your T&Cs - I have legally fulfilled my requirement to source tickets of equal or greater value and should not be penalised - due to Getmein THEN wanting to snatch an extra 20%.

Thank you for your review, we really do appreciate your feedback.

I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t able to provide the tickets as listed. Once a sale is made against a listing you have entered into a contract to supply those tickets. Just as we protect you by not allowing the buyer to cancel, in turn we have to protect the buyer by making sure they get what they pay for.

Where the tickets can’t be supplied and you wish to offer replacements, where the tickets are a different location to those originally purchased we recommend offering a discount to your buyer and these costs are passed on to you in line with the terms of your User Agreement as shown when registering with us - section 3.6, which states "Failure to supply tickets as listed may result in a charge to the Selling Member.".

I hope this explains the process.

DO NOT USE GET ME IN!

I paid £385 for 2 tickets to Billy Joel’s concert at Old Trafford June 2018. This suddenly included £71.63 processing fee, plus £10.57 delivery fee. Total £467. You can imagine my disgust when the tickets arrived and the actual cost of the tickets were £85 each. Be warned - Don’t use Get Me In. This company should be ashamed of themselves!

Is Get Me In a scam?

I sold my tickets months ago, presumed they would have paid me already and just got an email now say claim your money or Get Me In keep it. There’s no instructions how to claim the money! It just says log in to your pay pal account then nothing happens. Went on their website site and there’s no contact info! Is this a total scam? Have I lost my money?

In order to maintain a secure marketplace we don't make payment to sellers until after the event has taken place, usually around 10 business days but sometimes up to 1 month after the event date. This is so that we can ensure buyers have successfully attended the event, and in the case of any issues they can be fully investigated.

Very poor service and no accountablity

Very poor service and no accountablity

Despite following all the instructions GETMEIN’s choice of collection partner didn’t arrive to collect my tickets, or make any attempt to contact me on the day of collection.

Not great, so I contacted GETMEIN to understand how they would help. Only to be told they wouldn’t. It was apparently my responsibility to contact their collection agent and get things sorted out.

It took three days of my time to get sorted with absolutely not help from GETMEIN. In fact each time I contacted them they continued to deny any responsibilty or ability to contact their partner - despite them having chosen and paid the collection partner, and me having no contract with them.

To top things off, when they did make a commitment to investigate and contact me back, yes you guessed it, they simply didn’t make any contact and continued to ingore me.

So my advice is “seller beware”. Don’t expect any help from GETMEIN if anything should go wrong. It’s not their problem to fix it. It’s yours!

Just as an update the poor customer service continues when 10 works days after the event my share of the ticket money still hasn’t been paid and only when I chased customer services was I told it was in a queue and would be paid in the next couple of days.

I’ll be deleting my account once I eventually receive my money.

In order to maintain a secure marketplace we ask all our Sellers to ship tickets using our specified delivery methods (normally UPS). As your tickets weren’t listed as e-ticket download at the time of purchase they could only be dispatched as to your buyer as any regular ticket.

As a seller it's very important that you dispatch correctly so we provide you with all the information you need to arrange and change collection. We want to make sure that tickets arrive safely with your buyer and avoid any delay to your payment. We can see that you have been in regular contact with our Customer Service Team and there is also lots of information in our FAQ pages to explain how to post tickets.

Currently still not received my tickets…

Is it a real ticket that I just received?

After receiving a dubious home printed ticket,. I was sceptical to say the least. Called the helpline and the automated response informed me this was the norm.

Happy to say no issues at entry and great seats to enjoy the foo fighters

Venues will often distribute both electronic tickets and standard tickets. Both ticket types are valid for entry so please make sure you keep your ticket in a safe place and look after it as you would any other ticket.

Because we’re a marketplace where tickets are resold they’re often printed with the original purchaser’s name on, but this won’t affect your booking and the tickets are still valid for your entry to the event.

Awful service - stolen my money

Bought from this cheating website and resold then through them was told what to do by them and now the event has happened and my buyer had received the tickets they are trying everything they can to get out of paying me £160- I am genuinely disgusted at how poor the service is, haven’t had a single response now since Thursday! No phone number on their website and when I found it they just tell me to email!! I am seriously at a loss with this company?! I will never use this company for buying or selling tickets again. The bad press is completely right about this company. In contact with financial ombudsman so should all be sorted but it’s taking too long.

BAD SERVICE

I’m meant to be going to see Beyoncé on Friday. It is now Wednesday and there are no signs of ticket. I have been provided with no information, I cannot even contact get me in to have an idea of what is happening. I paid a lot of money for those tickets and will be disappointed not to go. I received emails assuring I would get the tickets the week of the concert but one day to and still nothing. Don’t think I would want to ever buy tickets from here again!

The worse re sale company I have ever…

The worse re sale company I have ever dealt with!!

Our tickets were being delivered by UPS however UPS told us they had been lost and I had to initiate the search team by contacting GETMEIN. After I contacted them they advised me that they were unable to do it themselves and that I had to email them. After doing this I was fobbed off and told the tracking had been updated and that they would be delivered. After telling them again that UPS have notified that they have been lost 2 days later they decided to open an investigation. They told us that they would contact the seller to send us e- tickets however GETMEIN have failed to keep us updated. We have called on numerous occasions and waited in a queue for 40 mins and requested to speak to a manger and the agent hung up. The event is on Friday and we are currently £400 down and no tickets to see Beyonce!

Do not order from the company! The customer service is disgusting.

We are now seeking a refund!

Thank you for your feedback and I’m really sorry to hear that your tickets were lost by UPS. We’ve looked into your order and can see when you contacted our call centre, one of our team already raised a tracer with UPS which initiated an investigation on your package.

Unfortunately, we are unable to replace lost tickets as we don't own the tickets and have no direct relationship with the venue, this means we don't have a facility to cancel and reissue tickets.

Generally we allow UPS up to 8 working days to complete their findings but as the event was taking place before then a refund was issued to you.

Rolling Stones 19th June Sent completely the wrong tickets and you are not responding to my emails

It is with regret that I have to post this, however, your poor customer service has compelled me to do so. I have now sent four emails and rang you and all I have had back is one holding email.
We purchased 2 x £550 No Filter Pit A Tickets for the Rolling Stones concert next week.
We were sent General Admission tickets worth £150 tops.
There is no way whatsoever that the seller could have accidently made this mistake.
We have Fan Guard and there are still tickets available for the Pit on your website. I would have expected to have a huge apology and to be sent these immediately (obviously with no extra cost).
We have train tickets and a hotel booked.
Are you going to sort this for us?

I have had the BEST experience

I have had the BEST experience! Purchased 4 fantastic seats together for Katy Perry in Manchester, close to the stage. The price was really reasonable as the seller was very fair and hadn't hiked the price up ridiculously high, so we got 4 great seats at a price we were happy with. (I saw seats in the same block for £1600 for 4 on another reselling site - you can probably guess which one!!!). The seller was brilliant and texted the following morning telling us the tickets were on their way & we also had an email & tracking details from Get Me In. The tickets were delivered today by UPS and there are now 2 incredibly excited little girls (along with their Mums!). We obviously got really lucky with our seller & the tickets were received in our hands within 48 hours from purchase. I think a customer's experience of Get Me In is totally dependent on the integrity & reliability of the seller - our experience has been 10/10.

Most of the time, you’ll just be put in a queue, but occasionally – if the volume of calls would mean unacceptably long queue times – we’ll ask you to call back later instead.

We know this isn’t always ideal, but we feel it’s important to let you know that we can’t take your call at the moment, rather than keep you hanging on for extended periods of time.

Purchased 4 tickets for Foo Fighters…

Purchased 4 tickets for Foo Fighters playing in Manchester next Tuesday at an extortionate fee last October. Still had no tickets or even confirmation of despatch and after reading the reviews on here am now concerned we won't even receive them. All of the replies on here seem to be stock answers with no actual human response and the lack of customer service support is disgraceful. Will never purchase from them again!

4pm 'Last Minute Sales' Cut Off Time Not Clearly Advertised

We tried to sell two Gold Circle tickets to the Rolling Stones in Edinburgh on Saturday (9th June). We were selling them at £220 each (they originally cost £250 each). We asked for 'last minute sales' as we had e-tickets which we emailed to Get Me In. We checked their website before we left to go to the concert and in the 'my sales' section of my account inventory it said 'sales pending'. Which we took to mean that they had sold our tickets. Nowhere did it say we hadnt sold them. It said if tickets were 'pending' to look for payment via paypal. We therefore left the duplicate e-ticket print outs at home and went to the concert (which was brilliant). I've been checking my paypal account ever since but no money has arrived. Today I rang Get Me In and was told our tickets were not sold and they were actually taken offline at 4pm. If we had known our tickets had not sold we would have tried to sell them ourselves at the concert on the door. As it is we have now lost £500 plus exorbitant booking fees and the two tickets were wasted. Get Me In do not issue clear instructions as to their procedures to buyers if tickets are offered for sale by them at the 'last minute'. Last minute actually means 4pm on the day. They dont make this clear. They should email customers after the 4pm cutoff if they are unsuccessful at reselling the tickets, or at least tell us that there is a 4pm cut off. This 'pending' message was very misleading. I hate the idea that we had two fantastic tickets to an amazing concert which werent used. We would have given them away if we couldnt have sold them ourselves on the door. Its such a waste. I've never used Get Me In before and will never do so again. Their procedures are not transparent and very misleading.

I’m sorry to hear that your tickets did not sell. Whenever a ticket sells we always send a sales confirmation email to confirm a successful order. Our Last Minute Sales team have also emailed with details of the time that tickets will be listed to and are available for any questions you might have about this process.

We don’t currently email for unsold tickets as previous feedback from sellers advised that this was unhelpful when they had a number of tickets listed and meant that emails for sold tickets were missed.

Sellers , dont use Getmein ,try elsewhere.

This site says it pays sellers 10 working days after the event which the tickets were sold for.

The customer telephone "helpline" for sellers is an automated line where a message cannot be left.

The telephone line to speak to a real person is unanswered after 15 minutes

My payment is now late , after 12 working days since the event.

No contact, no excuses. Not using this site or its parent company Ticketmaster in future.

Possible the worse Customer Services

Possible the worse Customer Services! I would urge everyone to think twice before purchasing from your company. Not only had i received the email confirmation for my purchase for 2 tickets to see @shakira at the O2 on Monday 11th June, but I contacted your customer services to request any information about delivery as Concert was within 4 days and was advised that I shouldn't be alarmed that my tickets will be delivered within the next 48 hours and that in addition I would receive a courtesy and neither happened. it took numerous calls to your so called customer services department only to get through one day before the concert and to be advised that my purchase had been cancelled 2 days prior to my call and that i will be refunded within the next 15 days! Couldn't care about the money, this review is based on the fact that as a result of your distasteful "customer services" you have broken my little girl hopes to see her idol. should you have communicated with me in time, i could have possible made other arrangements. Only received communication from you about this decision this morning on the day of the concert. DISGUSTING!!!

Great Customer Service from the team at GetMeIn

I've seen too many bad reviews so thought I would write a review of my experience. I think the key for people to remember is that GetMeIn do not supply the tickets - they are a marketplace and the tickets are coming from a seller. I bought a 5 day camping ticket for Download Festival and the ticket still hadnt arrived 2 days before the event. I was starting to panic so I rang GetMeIn multiple times and they were able to ring the seller and pressure them to send the ticket Royal Mail Special delivery - I picked up the ticket from the delivery office on the morning of the event! I turned up at Download with all my camping gear and went to swap my ticket for a wristband and was DENIED ENTRY and was directed to the box office. The ticket had been cancelled by the seller and voided with their credit card company so they got their money back from the original sale of the ticket. I was absolutely fuming stranded with my arms full with the tent and sleeping bag etc. I was forced to buy a full price ticket - £50 more than what I had paid! The reason I have given a 5 star review is the quick and great customer service I received from GrtMeIn after all this had happened. I was extremely panicked that I would struggle with getting a full refund but I spoke to GetMeIn and they immediately emailed me with the requirements to receive the refund. They needed a photo of the ticket and written proof from the box office that I had been refused and the reason why. I was able to do this straight away and the refund was processed ON THE SAME DAY. It was absolutely brilliant and I was able to enjoy the festival without having to even think about this whole situation. It is not GetMeIns fault that the seller of the ticket was a complete fraud and all I can do is thank them for resolving the situation so quickly, easily and stress free. Thank you.
