Expect to pay through the nose

I have used secondary ticket sites a couple of times to get tickets for shows where despite queuing online for hours when tickets first go on sale I've been unsuccessful.
if you are prepared to pay well over the face value of the ticket (in my most recent case paying £99.45 for tickets that had a face value of £65) and then pay another "processing fee" (this case was £53.70 for 3 tickets) and then pay a"delivery fee" (£10.57) then fair enough and the service from Get Me In seems to work well hence 2 stars.
However I an fed up with being ripped off by greedy sellers and greedy ticket re-sellers in a market that seems to be completely tilted against genuine fans. I have seen tickets that I have been unsuccessful in getting hold of when they are first released through the primary market appearing on the re-seller sites for vastly inflated rates within minutes of the official primary ticket sales starting. And funnily enough Get Me In and Seat Wave are both owned by Ticket Master so they make money on the primary sale but really, really, really make money on the secondary sales. You can therefore imagine where their interests lie and it's not with genuine fans.
So I'm done with being ripped off and I applaud artists, theatres and production companies that are starting to tackle this and I hope the UK Govt brings in legislation that puts these blood sucking re-sellers and the fast buck merchants who feed them, out of business.

This is a genuine ticket reselling site.

I originally managed to get tickets for Lady Gaga's Joanne tour in 2017 via GET ME IN which was then resceduled to 31st Jan 2018.
The price I ended up paying was quite alot more than the original event ticket price which made this one of the most expensive concerts I have ever attended.
Just remember it's a ticket re-selling site and that there is additional fees at checkout.
Other than that the site is a breeze to use and genuine.

I will probably use again.

Hidden fees and no refunds under any circumstance

When I was trying to see what extra fees were added (they were mentioned but I couldn't see the exact figure) It asked me to create an account and link my payment method. I found it bizarre but I know some sites save them for a faster check out. Any way I unitentionally bought the ticket I was looking at and only then did I see the added fees were £25+.

It was late on a Saturday so I tried calling the Sunday but they were closed. I tried again on the Monday and was informed that they do not issue refunds under any circumstances. After some back and forth with someone via email, they told me that they would only refund me if I could prove there was a glitch on the website (obviously I couldn't). I blocked the payment through PayPal, so was never charged but I won't ever be using them or recommending them to anyone.

I hadn't thought about leaving a review until they emailed asking for one...

Very disappointed

i Never received the tickets I paid for at all, and no refund? I had to fly over the Scotland as I was told it was likely the tickets would be sent via email on the day off the event and was very disappointed when I did not receive them.

Disappointed

I have been trying to get my money back for a which was cancelled for over a year now and I have to say the customer service I have received has been disgraceful, if I spoke/email my customer in the way I have been treated I would not have a job.

The communication as a customer has been the worst I have ever experienced in my life. Being emailed in capital letters the same thing over and over is not helping a customer if it's not the correct answer to their question and in not so many words calling me liar is disgraceful.

I can't understand if I paid for my ticket with my husbands Paypal ( as at the time I did not have an account) why would you try and put the refund to my email, yes my email was on the booking but it was my husbands Paypal that paid you. Being told again and again we have paid the refund into the account you paid with ( so my husband account) me providing a screenshot that this has not been paid into the account - this being ignored and yet again being told I have my money. At no point did Nicole think hang on this customer must have a problem how can I help!!!!! No I just get told I have requested prof we have paid. Tell me how this help me in the fact I have shown it's not in my husbands account?

I have spent the evening trying to sort this out with Paypal - who were very helpful and polite. And found the money you paid into the account that it shouldn't have been put in as that defeats the purpose of a refund as I didn't pay my husband did. How you can say I have claimed the money when only tonight I have managed to did this is beyond me.

You can check on your records I have used you company a fair few times in the past but I won't again and I will advise friends and family of the customer service I have received.

My feedback was to point out how badly I was treated, this reply was pointless I know I got my refund (after a year!!!!) the first refund was not done to the right account - which I have stated 100 times but you don’t acknowledge. You need to get some new people in place that have a passion for their customers as NO one so far has shown any.

Worst again!!!!Box office told me it was an illegal company???

Give me E-ticket but never told me I need a paper one, actually I even telephoned confirm before,but they said no need for paper one.
And guess what happen?
When I went to the concert,the staff didn't let me in,because it's E-ticket and box office only offer print service for ticketmaster.They even told me getmein is an illegal website.
Illegal???
Finally I need to call a taxi to go 4km away to find a print shop (on Sunday evening everything close,so damned you can imagine)

Never never never trust them again,please.
No worth for that.

Poor planning of refunds lead to poor customer service.

Called CS last week re Lady Gaga refund. Was informed by CS member that refund would take place by end of the working week. Pushed for a date but CS wouldn't confirm insisting 'by the end of the working week'.

Called again today to be directed to a prerecorded message explaining that each refund was being done manually and will take longer than they expected. Again, no confirmed date for completion. Im not a mathematician but you could simply measure how long a refund is taking staff to carry out and then scale that for a completion date for all refunds.

Considering the size of this company, and its experience in refunding for cancelled events, they should already have enough information to be able to give a completion date for refunds, therefore allowing us as customers to plan a follow up call in the case of any issues.

Very poor customer service and professionalism. Someone is not doing their job and should be embarrassed by their inability to be effective. A simple date for completion would have stopped a lot of ill feeling. Getmein should know instantly, from experience, how long it would take to return customers money.

Disgusted never ever again.

1 star is far too much.This company is beyond a joke. 3 times i have been promised repayment for Gaga tickets that was cancelled on feb 2nd is now march 6th and still no refund. 1 other thing if their "customer services" are all in the uk how come none of the agents can speak english properly?

Tickets still not arrived...

I am flying to the UK from Toronto on Wednesday evening and I am attending a concert on Friday. According to GetMeIn, my tickets are still in the UK..... My question is this, are my tickets going to arrive in Canada after I have already left the country for the concert? Why is it taking so long to get me the tickets?

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!!! I processed an order for 2 tickets for the Nashville concert only to receive a message of error. I then went on to purchase the tickets again this time using another card as the other transaction had not gone through. I then received a confirmation email for 4 lots of tickets even though I only ordered 2! The message of error came up on getmeins website and upon getting in contact with them they are rude and unhelpful almost as though they can’t be bothered to help resolve the fact that they have charged me for 4 tickets. Why should I have to pay for another 2 tickets just because their website crashed and froze. Only to be told by them to “resell” the tickets. I would advise anyone not to use this website.

As we’re a secondary sales website, we provide a platform for ordinary members of the public to sell on their tickets, so that means we don’t actually own any of the tickets sold through our site.

When you’re placing an order for tickets you have a limited time to enter your payment details before the order will time out and the tickets are released back on sale to give others the opportunity to buy. If you’ve entered your payment details before the order times out it might have still been successful. So we ask on our checkout messaging for you to contact our Customer Service Team before placing a new order.

In your case unfortunately two orders were placed successfully and confirmed via email. Since we don’t own the tickets, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund on your booking once it's been confirmed.

Sold 2 Kendrick tickets for the 12th…

Sold 2 Kendrick tickets for the 12th Feb for £100. Sale says complete but still haven't received the money and it's now the 22nd feb. Would have been a better rating had they released the funds when the sale was marked as complete. Now it's looking likely I won't receive it until after the weekend.

Steer Clear

To be honest giving them one star rating is being generous.

Can't see How To post to their wall on facebook so online review it is.

I wouldn't recommend buying anything from this company . Had nothing but problems. Absolutely no reassurance when you have parted with your money.

Tickets don't come til literally a day or two before the gig.. Nobody can tell you when the tickets will arrive and after my friends and I spent over £800 on tickets for Lady Gaga we found out when tickets arrived that the seller was making £100 profit on tickets worth only £40 each (they don't tell you face value at time of purchase, only their added fees ontop of already being ripped off) on top of that we were told we would receive a straight forward refund when the gig was cancelled... Within 15 days. Refund still not arrived!!! Absolute joke trying to get anyone to answer a phone or if they do they just repeat the same line of "your refund will be processsed".... When will that be I wonder???

Total stress that nobody needs. Steer clear. Will be seeking legal action!!

I put a £65 ticket on their site two weeks ago and put the wrong date by mistake. I explained what had happened and but they are now charging me 150% of the ticket. I didn't even receive the original £65 as the buyer doesn't pay until after the date of the concert! So now I am £220 out of pocket even though the buyer didn't lose any money. It's an absolute outrageous amount to pay. I emailed back to ask more about this fine and they ignored the emails. I am disgusted by this service and cannot believe that this daylight robbery is being allowed to happen. I couldn't even resell the ticket as I was waiting on their response with never came.

This is the first and last time I will use a site like this!!!

I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t able to provide the tickets as listed. Once a sale is made against a listing you have entered into a contract to supply those tickets. Just as we protect you by not allowing the buyer to cancel, in turn we have to protect the buyer by making sure they get what they pay for.

Where the tickets can’t be supplied and a refund is offered, the refund amount is applied to the total buyers price which is inclusive of processing fees, delivery and VAT, and these costs are passed on to you in line with the terms of your User Agreement as shown when registering with us.

I’m sorry for any confusion and hope this explains the costs that have been deducted from your payment.

Reliable but expensive

I have managed to get tickets to Britney’s sold out Manchester show which I’m really happy about, just wish the sellers didn’t charge so much as I had to pay double what the ticket was worth, also I would consider getting a new delivery company as UPS are a joke! I didn’t get to the door on time so the driver decided to just leave my tickets leaning up against my door! They could have blown away or been stolen, also I was supposed to sign for them which the driver obviously didn’t care about.

First of all angry doesn't come close ... I've emailed Get me in 5 times saying were are my tickets . No reply nothing
then it says ups will deliver the tickets on
24/1/18 so I keep checking and yes you guessed it
They say not left the depot well good job Lady ga ga
Wasn't on tonight which was my wife birthday present because we couldn't have gone no tickets .....
I've got tickets from eBay and got them used ticket master and got them
GET ME IN no chance no tickets and no way of finding out 're a refund ...
So what to do next well I can go down the route of
LEGAL ACTION . Had u bothered to look at the emails you would have seen they say worried why I don't have my tickets .......... I have taken legal advise already and spoken to my bank who will
Also be taking this up if a full refund is not issued .
But I am willing see what you will do to get my money back and as other people have had problems with ups
Will u Drop them as ur preferred delivery user .
You have taken my money so please return it.
