A massive thank you to all the team

A massive thank you to all the team, and especially Alex and Edyta, at Ruislip Manor who arranged my sale, and particularly for their tireless efforts over the last couple of weeks. It has been a huge relief to know I had such skilled, calm professionals in my corner. From start to finish the whole team were fantastic, from Gavin initially to Taia and Leonie and everyone involved in the viewings - everyone was unfailingly friendly, supportive and offered invaluable advice. I always got a call or an email straight back when needed and was dealt with sympathetically (even on my bad days!). All the sold boards around Northolt are testament to their expertise.

What can I say!

What can I say!! After a terrible experience with Lawrence Rand, we decided to market our property with Gibbs Gillespie. From the very start, Tommy was reassuring, warm, and realistic in setting expectations — all of which were delivered.

Edyta kept us informed throughout the entire process, which was relatively smooth and a complete night-and-day difference compared to Lawrence Rand’s robotic and non-communicative approach.

We are now in our new home and absolutely buzzing! I highly recommend Gibbs Gillespie — they are true professionals at what they do and, even better, genuinely nice people.

Unethical Fees and Poor Customer…

Unethical Fees and Poor Customer Service – Avoid Gibbs Gillespie Lettings

I have had a very disappointing experience with the lettings team at Gibbs Gillespie. Their approach feels highly unethical. Not only do they charge a monthly commission fee, which is expected to some degree in the industry, but they also impose additional renewal fees — even when the tenant has remained in situ for many years with no change to the tenancy.

This practice is simply unjustifiable and feels like an exploitative way to squeeze more money from landlords with no additional service provided in return.

When I raised my concerns directly with them in writing, I was met with complete disinterest. They showed no willingness to engage or resolve the issue, which further reflects their disregard for ethical business practices and customer satisfaction.

There are plenty of agents who operate more transparently and fairly. I strongly advise landlords to look elsewhere to avoid being subjected to these unreasonable and ongoing charges.

Terrible letting agents

Terrible letting agents. I have been with gibbs for over 10 years as a landlord and the past few years the service has gone downhill. Unprofessional and would not recommend.

We were really impressed with Gavin’s…

We were really impressed with Gavin’s pitch from Gibbs Gillespie. He listened carefully to our concerns and did an excellent job of gauging what was most important to us. His deep understanding of the market, along with his attentiveness to our needs and wants, really stood out. Gavin was professional and honest, ensuring that we were realistic about the current market conditions, which we appreciated.

We had another estate agent visit the same day, but Gavin’s approach made us feel confident that he is the best person for the job.

Cannot fault a thing

Thank you SO much to Lucy and Danielle for all of your help from start to finish! Your communication / responses and updates were professional, timely and really helpful in progressing my purchase. Danielle also helped me secure and arrange a survey on my behalf too which was convenient and smooth. Towards the end especially, I appreciated Lucy doing all that she could, to push for and ensure I met my deadline before my mortgage expired! It helped relieve some stress :). Thank you both again :).

Danielle and Lucy

Danielle, you and Lucy were first class! You were very helpful in explaining the English process of house purchase and sale which is so different from the Scottish one - which is the only one I was familiar with. During the purchase of my house, you kept in touch on a regular basis without being asked. This was very thoughtful and helpful to know that someone was looking after me and this made the process as smooth and as fast as possible. It also allowed me to chase my solicitor if something had to be done. You both were always pleasant and positive on the phone, nothing was too much bother, and you made arrangements if one of you was on holiday so that there was continuity of contact.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Gibbs Gillespie on the basis of my experience with you.
Well done, and thank you very very much.

I would highly recommend the Ruislip…

I would highly recommend the Ruislip Manor branch of Gibbs Gillespie.
From the first time of Meeting Tommy, we were put at ease with the decision to sell our fathers home.

Very good service from the Ruislip…

Very good service from the Ruislip Manor office,
We were happy with the valuation, charge and all other arrangements all clearly explained without any pressure to sign on the day, we were given time to read through and ample opportunity to ask questions, all questions were answered in detail.
