Customer service is non-existent. My experience got cancelled multiple times, tried to contact them many times and got no answer. Scammers?

What a complete waste of time and money drove 95 miles each way for 9 minutes of driving in an old APC432 which is a battle field taxi not a tank only thing in common is they both have tracks it was old and rusty no protective equipment overalls ,helmet, eye protection absolutely nothing that was in the advert we were on site for 30 minutes no more yes we had an experience a crap one dont waste your time and money.

Did the tank driving experience today, loved it, real British Army decommissioned tank. I have seen some poor reviews as it was only once round the track but that's exactly what it says when you book it. Running a tank is hugely expensive, so much so that this is the only 1 place left in Scotland that does it. Highly recommended

This is a complete scam. I purchased a gift experience for my wife - a Beaver Safari Tour - as an Xmas present and after several phone calls and emails was completely ghosted. I eventually managed to reclaim my money back from the credit card company. Save your time and money - go elsewhere.

Unreliable, disappointing customer service. I will not purchase again from this company. I purchased a pizza making voucher for a family of 4 and was unable to redeem the voucher. I tried several times to redeem this and was told that Gift Experience Scotland did not have supplier for the voucher. I was told on the phone that they would give me a refund for the voucher because they were unable to honour the voucher. I never got the refund. I called several times, I emailed them and I left online messages on the Gift Experience Scotland - no refund. Now when I put the voucher code into their website, the message I get is that the voucher has expired. Total waste of money, highly unsatisfactory and frustrating.

Our daughter purchased quad bike vouchers as a birthday gift, phoned several times trying to arrange dates, one excuse after another, was told to message them with dates, we did that , no response. she is now trying to claim the money back via her credit card company.

I wish to god I never set eyes on this company or whatever you call them..I'm disgusted and frustrated with it all..I got my son an experience gift away back 2 years ago, great eh?? No..not be be, got cancelled 1st time because of the covid crap ..made another booking, paid extra to update and get a date sooner, brilliant yea?? NO...let down again , something wrong with the so called helicopter. 3rd time booked another date, more money to upgrade to a sooner date, here we go again, got cancelled again, bad weather...I have put in my complaints to adventure 101 got £40.00 back..I had to write to gift experience Scotland, done this 3 times to ask for a full refund, still not got back to me..disgusting!!!!! My partner and myself had to take days off work as we live quite far out from the destination we choose for our son. Waste of time..waste of space...please if you see this and other reviews about this company please stay away, you have been warned, we've had 2 years of absolute stress...😡😡😡😡😡

I would go as far as to say this is a con.

Was booked for a helicopter experience through them (with Adventure 001). Trip failed to happen due to Covid and subsequent flight restriction (individual weight restriction) making the voucher unusable.
No sign of a refund despite a wait of approx 2 years now with numerous emails/contacts promising it would be sorted.

We were gifted a £100 open voucher for our wedding in June 2021 and selected the helicopter tour of Edinburgh experience with Adventure 001, for which we paid a further £60. We have been unable to use the voucher despite trying to book for over a year and a half. There are very few dates available and when we have manage to book a date, it has been cancelled the day before having had arranged time off work and childcare.
We are no closer to being able to use this voucher. Gift experience Scotland should not be advertising a tour on their website which is not available.

Nothing of value can be extracted from this company other than a chance to test your credit card issuers section 75 clause. They do not respond to any attempt at contact whether it is an inquiry or a booking which invalidates the whole gift and experience, its just a way of draining money out of your bank account. I would avoid this company at all costs.

My kids bought me a gift for my 60th through Gift Experience Scotland, a helicopter trip over Loch Lomond. I redeemed the voucher, then tried to book it, but after being told for months that it was full, I tried with another location. They then told me that I was overweight and would need to spend another £200 for an additional seat. I checked the voucher, and I was well under the max weight, so eventually found out that the helicopter company had changed their policy. I then went back to GES and asked for my money back...and then I went into the problems that ALL the other reviewers say. No reply, phone ringing out, spoke with someone who said to write to Allan at GES, which I did (5 times) and have not heard a thing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I feel really angry that my kids have saved up their money only for this to happen

Avoid at all costs - do not give this company your money. I was given a gift experience voucher as a gift and i've tried to contact them several times with no reply. I've now resorted to contacting them via special delivery posted letter as my only option to either get the gift experience or a refund is legal action.

They don't accept telephone calls despite having a phone number on their website and also don't reply to messages left via their website, on facebook or twitter. Basically you can't contact them and you can't redeem the voucher. This company is a con and should be avoided at all cost.

Scam - avoid at all costs. Impossible to redeem voucher, been told numerous experiences are no longer available then all my many attempts at contact were ignored. £75 gone. Do not give this fake company your money.

Redeemed the voucher online and was given a phone number to call to book the tour. Was told that the tour company no longer works with Experience Gift Scotland and so would not accept the voucher. I've tried to email, call, and Facebook message the company but no response from any channel. Can only assume it's a scam website. Don't waste your money here.

We had booked for the helicopter experience which proved nothing but difficult to book, in order to actually use the voucher you are required to upgrade.
Many many times we emailed and called Allan at experience Scotland who was full of promises but not once did he come through on any, in fact he ignored every single email and message sent to him.
This shows me it’s basic theft of money as now the season has ended and our vouchers have expired, he has basically stole our cash and not fulfilled the service.

Avoid any sort of booking with this man and company.

Do not use this company - it is basically robbery.
I purchased 2 helicopter flights over Edinburgh and Forth Bridges for about £350. You have to redeem the vouchers online before you get contact details to book any particular activity. The helicopter contact details were incorrect. The person who answered my call said he had no knowledge of any helicopter company - yet received a steady stream of calls from GES customers completely fed up and many threatening to go to the police.
At this point, I contacted Gift Experience Scotland to inform them of the contact details error in their website and asked for a correct number. They were unable to provide a correct number, not interested to check or amend website and I requested a full refund. This prompted the GES person to HELP me online to activate both my tickets. Once activated you are bound to use the voucher. I found another way to get information and discovered that the helicopter ride vouchers could not be used between Oct to March which was too late as a gift for my husband's birthday. I contacted GES again as I was only a few days outside the 14 days reimbursement period and requested a FULL REFUND because of time spent trying to sort this, the inaccurate info on their own website. They asked me to put it in writing which I did. However,they reimbursed me less than £300 - so they took £50 from me for providing me with inaccurate information, a gift I could not redeem, pushing through my voucher online after I expressed concern over the legitimacy of the experience (given the number of dissatisfied customers calling the wrong person and threatening going to the police). Highly suspect, unsatisfactory customer service, major time-wasting. I will tell everyone I know NOT to use this company.

I have been on website looking for.audi r8 hire for.my daughters birthday. Called on several.occasion no.calls returned. Eventually I called to.be told they no.longer do it.which they are still advertising
Now I have a very upset young girl. Customer service crap. Do.not use .

The company has closed down after I spent 192 euro on a voucher.
If you paid by Paypal- they can open a dispute for you. I got my money back today thankfully. They have a buyer protection policy where the retailer has to prove you received your service or goods. Gift Experience never responded so PayPal rules in my favour. Hope that helps some of you.
