Gigs and Tours seem to profiteer even more than Viagogo
Gigs and Tours seem to suggest that they are anti ticket touting but it seems to me that they are using that argument for profiteering. We realised that we couldn’t attend the event in question months ago. Gigs and Tours only allow resale on Twickets for which seller only gets face value back, admin/booking fees are not refunded. Then Twickets sell them for massive profit. I checked and Twickets prices were higher than Viagogo. Gigs and Tours invalidate any tickets not resold through Twickets so you have no option. To top it all, after resale you can’t send the tickets to the buyer until maybe 3 or 4 days before the event causing a lot of stress, even though resold on Twickets. Also they take the money from the buyer at time of transaction but don’t pay the reseller until maybe 2 weeks after the gig. In our case this was more than 6 months. They are making a shed load of money at every juncture and cannot in my opinion be considered as a fairer option that Viagogo, StubHub or any other. They are worse as at least the others are transparent and allow the seller to recoup their money. This has unfortunately happened to us twice and I will very reluctantly ever purchase tickets from Gigs and Tours again.

We partner with Twickets as they are an ethical reseller and accredited by STAR (Society of Ticket Agents & Resellers)
Ethical resellers will only allow charging up to the face value paid for a ticket to ensure that it’s fair to all fans who wish to attend.
I would recommend contacting Twickets directly if you wish to discuss any feedback related to them as they are a separate platform to us. Thanks ^M
Took forever to book tickets
Please to get in really to book when I started my order i was in row B but I had to do it so many times as the pages wouldn't load when I finally purchased my seat we are in row E in took over a hour to purchase tickets.

Hi, sorry that this happened. This on sale was extremely popular with lots of customers trying for tickets at the exact same time. Needs improvement
When booking, no opportunity to select seats, instead being allocated same seatsrepeatedly despite these having been declined multiple times.
Got as far as making payment twice, only for site to time-out due to it not progressing to completion

For reassurance, our site allocates the best available seats from the criteria you choose/what is there when you try to book.

Pleasant experience
Received emails from G&T rior to pre-sale as well as on the day of the tickets pre-sale. Managed to buy tickets without any difficulty; payment processed swiftly. Tickets arrived shortly after making the purchase. Can't complain.
