Have visited Gilks Garage Cafe several times now, always had amazing gluten free food, lovely hosts and really polite and friendly staff. The place looks fab with all the memorabilia and it’s a great experience all round. Can get busy so always best to book if you’re travelling from a distance to guarantee a table 🥰
Today I had the pleasure of having breakfast at this cafe with a motorcycling pal. The service was personal, polite, caring and prompt. The Breakfast was top draw, washed down with a good quality coffee. Every where was sparkly clean including the toilets. What a superb little cafe! I strongly recommend them to others. Thank you. We will be back! Xx
My wife and I visited this cafe after seeing it on the motorbike show. What a lovely cafe, so clean and the staff were so friendly, a must if you like all things retro, very 50’s styling, the food was excellent. Thank you guys for the experience

Dropped in on Saturday after accidentally discovering this newly-opened cafe. Very friendly staff, easy-going atmosphere with lovely retro garage touches - the garage has been in the same family's ownership for years and years. Great coffee, fantastic home-made cakes and all-day brunch. Dog and child-friendly with parking right outside. I met Keith, the proprietor - really lovely guy. Will certainly be back (with the dogs!) to sample more goodies!
