glogg stainless steel water bottles
Absolutely love my glogg bottle and carry it everywhere with me - for 7 years now! It's taken some seriously rough treatment over that time, but the only issue I've had was when I (somehow!) managed to lose the seal. A simple purchase of a replacement top dealt with that and it's now fully back in service.
A year ago I bought myself a bigger 1100ml bottle for home use. Love that too - water just tastes better from these!
I did a lot of research to find what I hoped would be the best metal water bottles. We bought the loop top / flip nozzle version. They did us well for a while, and were very responsive at replacing a broken lid, but after some time the lids started to leak and we found ourselves with wet patches in bags on day trips, and water dripping from airplane lockers. They're now a couple of years old, and pretty much unusable. I won't be buying them again.
I was going to use Sigg originally but after research I decided that I wanted a bottle without any sort of inner liner, and in it's past history Sigg had issues with theirs, leaking BPA's, I am unsure whether that issue has been resolved and decided to get a bottle that is pure stainless steel, not aluminum and without inner coating of plastic. The Glogg is great, you know you have a safe bottle and they are durable. Great company to buy from. Their bottles could do with some stylish designs on the outside like Sigg, hopefully that will happen eventually.
