It's not very clear that you have to wait for the pick up to go to the office and take the care.
It would be nice to notify more clearly this instructions..on how you have to pick up the car

I hate trying to find a company to rent a car from, especially when I’m abroad. Most of them have terrible Trustpilot reviews, even the big companies, and it just feels like a gamble every time. I chose Gobycar because they had a high rating for a rental car company with a good number of reviews. They were brilliant. They were very organised, the shuttles from the airport to the hire location came when they said they would and the entire hiring process was efficient, easy and best of all stress free. I’d 100% recommend them.

We've rented many cars from many supplies and we're definitely staying away from Gobycar. The car they provided to us was dirty both on the outside and the inside, with scratches and dents on the outside.
When we've rented the car from previous reputable dealers, we've always received a car that been in pristine condition. This wasn't the case with Gobycar. When we return the car, there were very slight, about 2 mm surface marks from possibly a car next to us opening the door. €103 was deducted from our deposit, even though they were minuscule and the condition of the car that was given to us was definitely not in great shape. I'm happy to provide photographic evidence of all the above.

I would avoid this company at all costs. There are loads of rental companies on the island and I would pick a reputable one.

This reservation was made on Booking.com where I will leave a review also for any other potential customer's awareness.

Very long to wait to pick up or return a car. Only one person serves clients at the desk. And if someone tries to make new reservation at desk, it takes 25m and all people with online reservations have to wait.

We went to Fuerteventura a couple of weeks ago, decided to get a car instead of a shuttle, even though I had some concerns after reading some of the reviews, our experience with Gobycar was fantastic. I had taken out excess insurance before we went and there was no hard sell to purchase theirs. The car only had 2500 kms on it. No problems returning it and the deposit was released the same day. The only thing I would suggest to Gobycar is to put up a sign at the minibus pick-up point in the car park. We followed the instructions but with no sign, no minibus waiting and being unable to find someone to ask we walked around for about 20 minutes before a minibus turned up.

Great customer service making it an amazing experience

When picking up the car we were told that they recommend/pushed us for an upgrade saying that the reserved car is not safe to enter a highway with this car. Either they wanted to create fear or they really rent out unsafe cars. Both is not acceptable. By the way, we stayed with the car we reserved.

No issues with pick up or drop and car was spotless

This is my second booking, this time through this platform. We booked a seat and we get a toyota c-hr, the car was clean, reliable and in a very good condition. We had insurance, so returning the car was a breeze.

I had a very smooth experience with Gobycar. The car was good value for money and in good condition. No hidden charges. No fuss.

The bookings team was also very responsive online and helped me the change the main driver on the booking without any issue.

Got the full insurance package and no issues whatsoever. Easy to collect and to return. No tricks or messing about

The check out of the car and check in at the end was very smooth. Quality vehicle, in very clean condition.
Pick up point at Tenerife airport was a bit unclear but once found a nice mini coach collected us for the short shuttle ride.
Offices were very close for access to the motorway.

Gobycar make it easy, they have nice cars at good prices I recommend them to friends

Convenient for locals staying in Costa de Antigua area as well of course arriving and leaving from the airport very fair prices always straight forward customer service, I use a number of times every year
