Allows you to backup your purchases.

Been using this company for years to buy games. No issues so far. They will even let you create an offline backup of the games that you own which is very consumer friendly. If I had to choose a platform to buy games from, it would be Gog since I know that backing up those purchases is possible.

Amazing Help

I had some issues with Neverwinter Nights 2 that i bougth and downloaded from GOG, as an old game running in a modern OS like, blackscreens, wasnt able to alt tab or moving the game from one monitor to another without getting visual bugs, thanks to Falran who took the time to provide as much help, tips and advices as i needed, i was finally able to solve the issues and play the game, he was kind, precise in his intructions and quite fast in his responses. I have nothing but words of praise for the help.

Restored Faith

I had my account hacked a few years ago, microsoft, sony, discord and a bunch of other soulless corperations told me that if the account is hacked its essentially stolen and gone.

GOG listened to me, actually verified the information I gave and eventually gave me my account back with almost 0 hassle, the worst part was the wait but id do it again just for the same experience.

Really restored my faith in how digital accounts can be recovered and made me feel seen and heard like a human being. I truly truly appreciate it.

They won't leve you in the dark

I had maybe an unusual problem - not particularly with the game I bought, but rather with the trophy list of that game. Simply put, the trophy list from a game I've never owned on GOG, was being listed together with the achievement list of the game I actually bought. This in fact effectively locked me out of finishing 100% of the game.

You could say, irrelevant problem and of minor importance - but despite that the issue was treated seriously.

The GOG support answered me a few days later, (they did mention the waiting time) and after that I received an update on the issue every day.

Shoutout to Farlan who handled the problem seriously and listed exactly what I can do, to maybe fix the issue myself. Without success on my side, the problem was reported to another team, which should take care of it.

Overall good experience, which I feel you can't say often about various other customer supports.

GOG support feels of high quality, and I can definitely recommend the platform and its technical support.

Wouldn’t Start: Problem Solved!!!

I had a problem with two games I downloaded in which they would not play. I contacted GOG explained my problem and Falran,responded with several fixes and tips on how to correct the problem. The first suggestion fixed the problem. That was great!! Falran explained everything in detail and was very helpful as I am in the dark on a great deal of this Tech stuff. The links he sent were very helpful as it made the whole process very easy with no hair pulling.

True love for Games

I couldn't start a game. I asked the support and they answered quick and helpful. I solved the issue. They care. Where do you find these qualities today in the gaming industry.

What i also really like, is that you can vote for the next game do get it DRM-free. They care about the opinion of the community.

English is not my native language, so i decided to keep it rather short, but my message should be clear.

They love (good old) games. You can feel and see it.

I loved the customer support

I loved the customer support! I bought a game, but found out it didn't run well on my machine, so I asked for a refund the same day. They did that and I am thankful for the quick reaction and no-nonsense approach to how they handled my support ticket. Would recommend, 11/10!

Incredibile customer experience!

I had some problems with a game but thankfully the Senior Technical Customer Support Specialist “Falran”, very patience person, helped me through the whole process trying to fix the issue. 👍🏻👍🏻

Great help service

All the help I received was very helpful. The response time was quite fast compared to other platforms. I followed all the steps they provided and was able to resolve the issue with my game, The Witcher 3 Complete Edition. A huge thank you to the support person who helped me, Falran.

GoG Support Goes the Extra Mile even where they are not obliged to

I recently bought the game Incubation, which I loved as a kid. I was frustrated at first because it didn't run on my Windows 10 PC, as I failed to realize it wasn't supported on 10 and it was clearly mentioned in game description.

I submitted a support ticket, and while they weren't obligated to help, Falran from GoG Support immediately offered a full refund and also a potential solution that might make the game work. The solution worked perfectly! The game ran flawlessly, complete with full sound and the Wilderness Missions expansion—two things that were missing from my experience as a kid.

The overall experience with GoG's support was excellent. I'll continue to buy my games from GoG because I love that their games don't require any bloatware or launchers.

Recently started using GOG as my…

Recently started using GOG as my primary store front for PC games, the lack of drm is a huge plus and their willingness to restore and provide resources to get older games running is greatly appreciated. Recently I had some issues with running the game Deus Ex, to which I was able to easily get aid from staff at GOG who provided useful and helpful information to easily get the game running to par, this has been a consistent aspect to my time using GOG. Specifically it was Falran who provided the solution to my problem to which I am very thankful for.

I had the same issue as many others…

I had the same issue as many others with the freedomtobuy bundle. I wanted to remove the games, but was unable to.

Considering it was a free product, but they still spent money helping me get the games removed, I thought that was pretty awesome. It did take some time, but still, they were able to get it done.

I do feel like it would probably be worth their time to add in the functionality for me to remove my own games from my account. Maybe in the future.

Game misidentified by Galaxy

I had a game misidentified by GOG Galaxy showing as a different game I did not own at all. At first support asked for screeshots as prove and called it a day. When I had my ticket re-opened because nothing had changed the case was taken over by senior support member Falran. From this point on it was handled in the most forthcoming way. Friendly, super helpful and with crystal clear instructions this problem was solved in no time. If anything, I would ask to get support from Falran for my next ticket right away!
