The work was done to my neighbours property which and looks of poor quality. The work ‘completed’ has caused damage to mine. The work was started in December and I am still trying to get a response to fix the damage they have caused. They left a mess in mine and other neighbours gardens, had scaffolding up for 3 months.They have been unresponsive and have not turned up to fix MY property. I will be reporting this to trading standards.

Golden globe guys are just awesome! Very professional and polite and amazing at their job! Been my go to for any work I need done at my place. I’d highly recommend them! 10/10

I recently had my house insulated in Leicester by Golden globe. Very professional polite and trained team and cooperative staff. Got the left over rubbish collected even the next day and listened to my concerns and guided me as well. Definitely recommended and much appreciated.

I have had these cow boy builders at my property for over a month the did not give a crap about the mess they make the stress they caused me was unreal they did not connect the pipe work and all my living room ceiling has leaked through and caused mass abouts of damage I have proof and they are saying my ceiling was already damaged am taking them to court I will not be having them in my property ever again please avoid them they tell you so many lies it’s unreal.

Our experience of having cavity wall insulation installed by Golden Globe has been excellent. From the initial contact with Jamie, the survey done by Lee and the contact and communication by Sofia - to the installation itself by Imran and his team - all went well. Sofia kept us informed throughout and Jamie even attended the installation to oversee things. We read some of the adverse reviews before going ahead but can only say we've had a completely different experience.

Avoid this company. They fitted a heatpump system. They caused damage to walls, flooring, carpets. They refused to pay for the damage so we took them to court and were awarded £480.
Throughout a year long ordeal they ignored our calls, lied constantly and caused severe mental stress to my 85 year old mother.
A year after installation we still had inadequate heating and hot water. They finally sent an engineer called Hassan who claimed to have fixed the issues however 24 hours later we had no hot water or adequate hot water. My mother had to call a local engineer who fixed the issues in 40 minutes costing her £125. This engineer fixed a leak not even mentioned by Hassan the day before.
GOLDEN GLOBE are a bunch of inept cowboys. We will be taking further action against them.

Golden Globe Merchants Ltd are the worst company ever that you could hire for your home insulation. They ruined our house completely it was a disaster hiring them from start to finish. I would not recommend this company to people at all. They don’t listen to the customer and respect their wishes at all. They are so strict and adamant. We told them our loft was already insulated and didn’t need to be insulated and we requested them not to insulate the loft. However they didn’t listen to us all and ruined our beautiful loft. They were adamant that they were going to double insulate our loft. All our belongings in the loft were ruined and the work they did was of a terrible standard and was a complete disaster. The insulation they use for your house is cheap and of a poor substandard quality. They don’t listen to the customer at all and respect their wishes they do what suits them. Our house looked better before their insulation hasn’t helped us save energy at all. It’s a total waste of government money. Please do not hire or use this company for your insulation they will ruin your perfect house and will not listen to or respect the wishes of the client. It’s a complete disaster their work is of a poor substandard quality. The finishing is so bad our tiles were poorly painted and work was left incomplete. We were left without electricity and lights in our rooms for more than a month. They do not know how to do electrical work and were googling how to do electrical work in our house which is so dangerous and when requested to stop playing with the electricity in our house they wouldn’t listen to us at all. They are so stiff and adamant people and are terrible. We were left in pain and agony for months all our belongings, loft and house was completely destroyed. It was a complete disaster hiring them from start to finish. Please I repeat please do not hire this company at all to install your insulation they will not respect your wishes and ruin your house instead of improving it. It’s a complete scam and waste of government money. Please look for a better company for your insulation installation. They do not deserve even a rating of one star. Such a horrible company. Please avoid at all costs for your best interests and wellbeing.

I had a external wall insulation done by this company but they did not do good work at all, there is big 1 square meter round circle mark on front wall and getting worst, when i contacted them they first says will sort it out then they ignore me and my phone calls later on and never came back, i am so sad spend over £10000 and front house look so ugly, if someone pay you full asking price why would you do that, very disappointing, why can't be honest,

Uzair and Abdullah installed a heat pump heating system in our property from scratch as we had no pipe work already in place. Their workmanship is second to none, they are friendly and professional, clean and today and a joy to have around. Would highly recommend without a shadow of a doubt

Thank you Uday and his team for the fantastic job you did putting on the external wall insulation. I cannot believe the transformation!! He explained what he was doing all the way along the process. They were very considerate, very polite, hard working, friendly and no mess was left behind.
I still can't believe they travelled 5 hours to and from Leicester everyday to make our house amazing. Thank you.

Fantastic service from start to finish. After our initial meeting with Mr Cockerill he kept us up to speed throughout the whole process. Measurements were taken for our flat roof, he went away and informed us the work would start in approx 4 weeks, it did!
Fantastic job by the team who kept the site tidy (including the communal stairs). They put long hours in to get the job done which they did to a very high standard in about 4 days.
Would highly recommend!

Unfortunately our experience with Golden Globe Merchants Ltd has been really poor overall in communication and have lost confidence and trust with this company Golden Globe Merchants Ltd as the information that was provided was misleading and for some reason after I received a text confirmation of the grant for external wall insulation being approved, heard nothing back despite someone calling to discuss a time to come and inspect for scaffolding, apparently they now have no records of the said work to be completed. Spoke to Rehan, Ayaz and then Rashid, apparently all staff I initially spoke to have left the company Rehan and Ayaz. I emailed Golden Globe Merchants Ltd, again no response, text no response. Team Leader was meant to visit me no attendance on 22/6/2024.

Apparently they do not send emails as confirmation, again really poorly managed and very misleading, was informed the email on advertising leaflets is not the email to send communications too! when I requested which is the correct email this was not provided.

The information that was shared by Rashid to me after logging my complaint to him on 21/6/2024, was completely different to what I had as evidance in text confirmation by Ayaz.

Left with no choice but had to log a compliant to NAPIT on 0345 543 0330 their auditor and Trustmark, Stroma and trading standards and to the government green scheme including ICO, as was not reassured with the way the company has been handling personal data and application. I would not trust this company until I am reassured 100%.

Be cautious. From my experience this company does not offer consumer protection, Stay Safe when sharing personal data and information.
They do not act in a responsible and professional manner
They are not responsive, approachable
They fail to communicate clearly and in good time so you always know what is happening, for example if they are running late for an appointment or if anything changes
They are not mindful of vulnerable customers
They failed to supply us with goods and services in line with our approved application and consumer rights
They fail to comply with the Customer Charter
They failed to give us the right information, at the right time, by not being clear and transparent

Today I had my solar panels fitted my Dave, John & Andy, what great guys, so helpful, brilliant work, all tidied up and cleared away at the end of the day.
The copious cups of tea and bacon sandwiches more than worth the effort they put in.
I would highly recommend these guys anyway.

We had our external home insulation done. The workers did a wonderful job. Very neat and tidy. Everything was organised well and went very smooth. Job completed quicky. Ayaz and Rasheed made sure the work ran smoothly. Would highly recommend this company.

From the moment Jamie knocked on my door and convinced me that this was a genuine project with no strings attached and he verified that I was a candidate it has been a swift job I was leaving in a short space of time for my work but Jamie and Sofie put it all together with permissions etc coordinating the job in a short space of time .Every worry Jamie put my mind at rest bending over backwards to help me every way he could ,with the help of Sofie always on the other end of the phone . Executed really well. I did actually get the protect checked out and found that it was a very efficient system and of good quality. My walls were insulated
The panels were put on the roof and the heating system installed all in 3 days .

Golden Globe have been excellent at all times in the process of updating my heating system and installing Solar Panels.
From the day thay Jamie thier area representative knocked on my door and convinced me that my home did come under the latest scheme to the moment that the system was fully installed and commissioned they have been most helpful and caring.
Sofie to whomI talked to in thier office was always happy to help in any way she could and kept in touch so thet I knew how things were progressing.

As part of the government's Eco4 scheme, I had Golden Globe chosen for me to install an air source heat pump system in my home in July 2023, over the course of 3 days.

The guys who did the install said this type of installation should take 15 days. Yet they proudly, and repeatedly explained how they were so good, they always did it in 3 days.....

Because they did not complete any kind of survey to determine how to perform the install, they simply turned up on the day, and basically forced us to install the water tank in an awkward place. ( GG tried to claim they turned up to complete a survey, yet I have video evidence that they have lied about this. )

They have made a complete mess of my home. They have left my home needing expensive repairs. This includes having to now replace all my upstairs floorboards, due to the workers just ripping the boards up, instead of taking the boards up in the correct manner to avoid damage.

This was due to them wanting to get the job done in these 3 days, and damaging them beyond repair.

I also have burn marks and damage to various walls at my property.

They have used incorrect materials on some parts of the job, and have yet to do anything to rectify this.

They also left a mess, including, but not limited to, varying pieces of wood/screws and all manner of installation debris, left under the carpets in multiple rooms upstairs, or left under furniture. Also left rubbish outside, in both front and rear gardens.

Threw rubbish from the work out of bedroom windows into the roof of my downstairs living room.

I have also had to endure being lied to by GoldenGlobe. Despite having evidence which proved they were lying, they continued to lie.

I have currently been waiting since January for them to replace some of the incorrect materials they used, yet have heard nothing.

I have been left with no choice but to seek legal advice and take action against this company.

Golden Globe are without question one of the worst companies I've ever encountered. I beg everyone to avoid them at all costs!!!!!
