David is a great teacher. We booked the three half day course as a group of 3 beginners and one intermediate player. We all had the chance to improve our golf skills whilst having a lot of fun. Also the breakfast and lunch facilities were great.

I recently attended the Beginner two morning golf course. I was very impressed with how Tim broke the golf swing into parts in a way that helped me to understand it and how he linked it with other sports that I was familiar with to help me. I’m not the quickest at picking up new things and Tim was incredibly patient and encouraging. I would definitely recommend this to other new golfers.

Took my grandson for a two day session with David Wicks, staying at the on-site hotel. The room was really good, the food in the restaurant was consistently good and all the facilities were truly impressive. The coaching was brilliant, as David focused on my grandson for his needs, and separately in me for my much older needs. His use of video and technology enhanced the learning experience and he was a joy to work with. Could not recommend more highly.

David is a brilliant coach. Having played at the very highest levels he has real experience and knowledge that he uses to improve your golf game regardless of level.
Pleasure to work with and gives every individual equal time and customises his coaching to fit individual needs
He was able to identify key items that were stopping me progress and show me a way to resolve through analysis and straight forward easy to understand coaching

Just returned from two fantastic days. David Wicks was brilliant as a teacher and made all the technical bits I have struggled with, logical. His patient and relaxed nature made it easy to learn and improve and I came away with more confidence and a real high from some of the shots, I even managed to par a hole which for me, was an achievement. The hotel on site was excellent and the golf facilities superb. Looking forward to a revision school!

When I first decided to take up golf as a sport, I knew that I needed to find a great golf instructor to help me out. That's when I found Matthew Mahoney at the School of Golf. Matt has been a fantastic help with my game, and I consider him to be one of the best golf instructors I’ve ever worked with. Matt is not only knowledgeable and experienced, but he really cares about my objectives. He really takes the time to get to know me as an individual level to work out our weaknesses and strengths and create customised lesson plans around that. Whenever there's an area I'm having trouble with, Matt takes the time to really help be break it down and figure how to best improve it. He's incredible at explaining things in a clear and concise way. Not only that, but he has this incredible knack for explaining a concept in a few different ways to make sure everyone is really getting what he's saying. In addition, Matt isn't one of those golf instructors who just sits back and gives instructions. Instead, he actively gets out there and shows what to do. He's also great at noticing even the smallest details and giving quick pointers as we go. I have come on leaps and bounds in such a short period of time, Matt is very personable and couldn't recommend him highly enough. Thank you!

We went in early january and therefore got an excellent deal. I would go again and reccomend to anyone interested in imprtoving their game.

This was not what we thought we were going to get according to the web site

Most of the time we were just hitting ball out on the range on our own.

I was a woman with thee other men and did not get much attention, i came away dissapointed.

Teacher was very good. Video analysis brilliant. But in the afternoons more thought needs to be given to getting out on the course with others. I was on my own and there was no one to play a round with. I played on my own most of the time but rounds with others would have been better

You will really have very little to complain about the school. Excellent environment, teaching pros (Daniel C-C was awesome), environment, food and good mix of pupils. You won't feel out of place at any time, not with the staff eager to ensure so. I will be back there soon.

I was not sure if it would improve my game and a few faults were creeping in , but i was open minded and if I could leave with 2 or 3 improvements i would be more than happy , I left with 4 and my game has improved because i now know what i was doing wrong. I would go again .

As a beginner I was really lucky to have found this beautiful golf school which has such a friendly team and (the pro) Dan has made golf seem easy, relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel room was tastefully furnished and comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. I would totally recommend this golf school hotel to anyone and I hope to return soon for another week stay.

I LEARNT MORE IN A WEEKEND THAN YEARS OF ONE OFF LESSONS. I GETR SO MUCH MORE OUT OF THE GAME AND OUT OF PRACTICE NOW THAT I FINALLY KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. DRIVING LONG IRONS PITCHING AND PUTTING ALL AREARS OF MY GAME ARE HAVE IMPROVED OUT OF SIGHT....
THE TEACHING METODS ALONG WITH THE LATEST VIDEO ANALASIS MAKE THE WHOLE PROCESS SO MUCH FUN.

2 perfect days , small group ( 1 in fact ) , the Pro was friendly informative went at the right pace for me and listened to my problems and help fix them one by one

Great experience, nice accomodation and food, excellent staff. Instructor was very good and I learnt alot.

I have been attending this facility since I was a beginner and go back every year or so for a tune up. I allways enjoy the facility hugely and come out a better and more positive player every timee I attend. If I have a big golfing outing or holiday coming up, I usually try and get at least a day in here shortly before the outing or holiday and this has allways paid high dividends. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic and the facility is great value.

The James Andrew School came highly recommended and I can see why. The welcome is lovely. Our coach was fantastic and my game has improved so much since my visit. The staff, especially the catering, set the standards, for warmth, great food and friendliness. If you are looking to improve your golf in a lovely enviroment, look no further. The awful weather during our stay did not affect the enjoyment and most importantly, the coaching. I will be returning without any hesitation.
