I tried to order a GoSun cooker to Canada. Their quotes were astronomical for shipping. All higher than the cost of the item. Like $500+ for a $100 item. UPS and FedEx.

I emailed Go Sun, got an automatic reply, sent further questions, but got no reply.

I reached them on the phone finally, but got conflicting information. They stated they don't use FedEx but they give quotes from FedEx. They won't use USPS but didn't explain why.

Clearly there is zero flexibility with GoSun shipping.

The Canadian dealer has zero stock on cookers.

UPS service to Canada is notoriously bad. But that is their only option.

CANDIANS BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER GOSUN PRODUCTS DIRECT!!

I ordered a Chill cooler before Christmas and it took months to arrive. Upon opening the product, I got an error code and the product is unusable. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement, which never arrived since they sent it via a different shipper. They have refused to refund me or send me a return shipping label. So I have a $424.15 paperweight. I have contacted customer service several times and they are unresponsive to me, and I am an investor in the company!

Hi, on September 10 I wrote a post regarding not getting and response regarding my order from GoSun, and later I received a message that shipment would be sent in October! A couple of days ago I receive a long explanatory message for Ms. Cydney of GoSun regarding the delivery delay caused by international logistics problem causing delayed arrival of their orders from the manufacturers
I understand the problem because I myself having problems with my shipments from abroad
Ms.Cydney gave tentative delivery date around end Oct early Nov
So I decided not to cancel the order and just wait for my delivery with crossed fingers...

So, to be clear GoSun has likely been dealing with the same shipping issues that are occurring all across the US. Their website does to some degree cover the topic of Covid delays. In my recent experience the delays may exceed expectations.
That being said I have now received my GoSun Product and I am very pleased with the quality.
I have nothing but good things to say about their product but it arrived very late so I am giving 4 stars.
I highly recommend Go Sun products, be prepared as you may possibly have to wait longer than expected.

With Gosun we enjoy picnic and short trip with a practical and stylish solar oven.
To be honest, I've never tried to cook muffin but for vegetables and sausages it's perfect

I’ve wanted a solar cooker for a long time but couldn’t see myself spending the money being asked for pieces of foil and plastic.

Recently I came across GoSun... looked interesting but I put it on the back burner until I had time to investigate. I like knowing some companies are helping people around the world and GoSun is one of those companies so I bookmarked the page, and glad I did.

I eventually decided on the GoSun Sport model at approx. $250 CND. Wow. I cooked my first meal last week (February, Northern Canada) with the sun low in the sky. 25 minutes to chicken chunks with veggies and, it was delicious. Don’t regret this one at all.

This is a kickstart and I’m sure they will be making changes over time. Couple of things...

1) a case should be included with the unit
2) needs an onboard thermometer (they sell a thermometer separately)

These two items are the only reason I gave 1 less star. Using this camping... not practical without a protective cover.

Finally! A portable utensil option that is convenient and easy to use! I love how thin and lightweight it is, I keep it inside the sleeve of my wallet so it's always there when I need it. Also, unlike other portable options I've tried in the past, the quality of this product is unreal - feels just as sturdy as the silverware I have at home. It's also really easy to clean which for me is a must. Thanks for creating such a great product that is helping reduce all the single use plastic in the world. I'm already buying more for my wife, parents, and my best friend!

Awesome product! Love the design and how sturdy it is, not to mention it's so easy to carry everywhere without getting your belongings dirty because of its cover. Would definitely recommend!

I first bought a gosun sport about 5 years ago. I initially was skeptical, but wow it really surprised me, and now I use it all the time. I have cooked veggies, chicken, fish, even baked muffins. Since then I have bought two more gosun products the chill and the phone charger. When the power went out for 3 days, I felt really smug. I was the only one on my block that could still cook, and still keep my milk cold. And I was able to keep my phone up and charged. Thank goodness for gosun.
