I was very happy with them until I…

I was very happy with them until I found that when I went to download repeats of what I already had to update them ( I could see no other way of updating) I ran into the problems experienced by others who I see posted. As a result I am now highly dissatisfied. What is this post to download ratio nonsense. It just does not work for some users. I am an old man who has nothing useful to impart to others but, having paid for his membership, does want to update his POIs of foreign shops etc for motor-home touring. Is this too much to ask? I get my aires from CCinfos, a French site and they don't do anything like this. So all my commercial POIs are severely out of date. Thanks Gps Data Team

Absolute BS. A scam, pure & simple. Please, don't waste your money, and please complain about these f*ck3rs who are unbelievably still around. i.e. PAUL PRATT.

That's a scam

Even if your ratio stays 'in the green' you'll only get partial files... basically the same you'd have if you were on the free plan.

Just don't subscribe, it's a huge scam.

AVERAGE BUT BE AWARE!!!

Great site, but they sort of conveniently forget to tell you that your download speed reduces drastically if you don't post (and it has to be helpful) comments - that is your post/download ratio. will really be low. Of course this is bound to happen if you are a novice in GPS matters and hardly have answers to GPS matters. The first reason why you "PAID" to get on the site in the first place was because you were looking for answers. Plus the fact that the GPS files you are hoping to download from the site are a lot, there is absolutely no way you won't have a low post/download ratio and from there on, it is all sooooo slow!!!

But OVERALL asides from that the site is very very helpful.

Erratic Operation

I tried to register at the GPS Data Team site a few days ago using PayPal. I sent two e-mails requesting my registration--no response. I've now registered a dispute with PayPal. There are a lot of complaints about this site.
