I was dropped as a client due to a lawsuit by the federal goverment against them leaving me to fence against a creditor on my own. Im now facing a 15k interest charge im forced to pay above my original principal. Not once was I contacted to at least intruct me on how to proceed and deal with my creditor.

The debt reduction services from Great Lake are fantastic. I owe no money to anyone now because of how wonderful they are. They kept me informed about my payments throughout the process, and I have no reservations in giving them my highest recommendation.

When I have questions and call, there is minimal time I am put on hold. My questions are answered in a professional manner.

It is a bit confusing when I received the notice that a settlement had been reached. I am also going through a program linked with Great Lakes Law Firm called Versara which is a company that provides the loan money to pay off the credit card debits. It appeared that I would be making 2 seperate payments to 2 different companies for the debt forgiveness. After a phone call, this has all been resolved.

Sometimes there was uncertainty on whether anything was being worked on. I had to call several times to check status. I even called my so call attorney in the beginning who did nothing t return my call. But t, overall things are e moving along more

I don’t like the fact that while all this is going I’m still getting late fees each month and penalties for example if I owed 700 when we started this then when you settled I owe 900 because of all penalties and fees and then you settle for say 750 so in long run I’m paying more this is just a example

I’ve have nothing but great things to say thus far about my experience. I actually have a co worker who is having the same problem and I told her to contact Great Lakes because of the great experience I’ve had.

We were told repeatedly that we can cancel anytime and that things don't start until we have our welcome meeting. We went through with their notary but didn't do the welcome meeting and were going to cancel after thinking more about it. Well despite that almost $700 was deducted automatically from my account. They cancelled for me and said I'd get my money back after their processing fees. After nearly a month I just got $57 back. Insane.
