Great Nazca Tours Reviews 

We did a three-day, two-night itinerary that included Las Islas Ballestas, Huacachina, Tacama Winery, Hacienda San Jose, Paracas Reserve and an overflight of the Nazca lines.

Everything went well. Hotels were nice; recommendations for dining and sight-seeing were good. Oscar and Anibal did everything to make our tour pleasant. We especially were pleased that both of them were from Nazca. We will definitely hope to work with Great Nazca Tours again on our next visit to Peru.

Mr Oscar is my 3 days tour guide in Nazca town, he is locat people, he knows very well of Nazca Lines area, and he can speak English and knowledgeable, he is friendly and logical person, with him I learnt a lot about Nazca Lines.

My boyfriend and I wanted to take 3 short tours while in Nazca, and Corina was kind enough to create a little itinerary for us. She was also understanding and helpful when we needed to change our dates and pick-up location(s).

Oscar was a great guide - very knowledgeable, passionate, and accommodating. He offered to start one tour later, so we could see the Nazca Lines at sunset. He also reordered the tour so we could visit the Maria Reiche museum before it closed. Oscar shared a lot of interesting information with us, we learned more about the history and culture, and we had many great conversations during the car rides to each tour. By the end, we felt like we were old friends. We ended up taking one tour through a different company, and it didn't even compare to the great experience we had with Great Nazca Tours. I and my spouse went on a customized private 2 days/1 night tour from Lima to Paracas-Ica-Nazca with Great Nazca Tours in February 2022. And we are so happy we did. The tour has by far been our best experience ever when it comes to these types of tours.

Our customized trip included a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands, an extended tour and prestige wine tasting at the Tacama vineyard, a visit to Huachachina with a dune buggy ride, and sandboarding in the desert, and a flight over the Nazca lines from Nazca. My spouse loves animal life and was thrilled to see the birds, penguins, and sea lions that we got to witness at the Ballestas Islands. Peru is not known for making good wines, so we had very low expectations of the wines at Tacama. We basically just went for the experience of having seen Latin America's first vineyard, which was very beautiful and romantic. The basic wines were as expected rather basic, but their prestige wines were surprisingly good. We ended up buying a bottle of their prestige red wine for our collection at home in Sweden. So, if you are interested in wines- we really recommend the extended wine tour and tasting. Huacachina was beautiful and both the dune buggy ride and sandboarding were a blast. Just one week before our tour, there was a tragic airplane crash in Nazca (the first in 15 years) which put us off a little bit and made us hesitant. Corina was very understanding and gave us the option to decide whether to take the flight or not on-site at the airport with a full refund in case we decided not to go. At the airport, we felt reassured by the pre-flight routine, and the airport staff and pilots and decided to overcome our fear and do the flight which we don't regret- it was amazing to see the Nazca lines from the air.

Corina was extremely friendly, fast-responding, and service-minded discussing different options and customizing the tour to meet our requests when making booking arrangements. Driving felt super secure and smooth as Anibal drove us all the way through our experience. Having Oscar as a guide was fantastic. He is very friendly, warm, and a knowledgeable tour guide. We loved to spend time with Oscar and learn new things at every stop and about Peru in general. Thank you for an experience of a lifetime!

Thank you Corina and Oscar for arranging a private flight over the nazca lines - and at last minute! Everything was perfect and the flight was exactly as promised. Oscar’s introduction made finding the figures much easier once up in the air and the pilots did a fabulous job of making sure we saw them all. Now we have photos to enjoy forever!

Proceed to book a flight for Nazca lines. The guide is very punctual and arrived on the dot of my airbnb.

He explains how the lines are formed and the history. As well as interesting information that I never knew myself.

Overall it's a pretty decent experience.

The flight itself is quite dizzy.
There is a viomit bag. And some did actually viomited.
