Greener Books Reviews 

I have previously had good experiences with AbeBooks, but this seller is to be avoided. The book was described as being in "very good" condition; instead it was full of underlinings and comments in ink. My comments and requests for reimbursement elicited no personal response, only (after a week or so) a link to the website, where I must give evidence of posting the book back - at my expense of course. Note that the 5 star standing of the seller on AbeBooks relates only to the number of orders they fulfilled, not to the quality of their service. Even AbeBooks themselves has no interest in feedback, unlike Amazon (much as I hate to say it).

Book was an excellent price, arrived earlier than expected and in excellent condition. Will definitely buy agsin from this seller.

Awful. Book ordered 3 Apr via Abe Books. I ordered 2 books at the time, the one dispatched by Goldstone Books arrived promptly. The one dispatched by Greener books still hasn't arrived today (8 May) - let's face it, it's not going to. The Royal Mail Tracking code provided by Greener/Abe never worked on the Royal Mail website. Two attempts to contact Greener/Abe Books resulted in me being caught in a loop of doom with no apparant way out as Greener had marked the book as dispatched meaning no dispute could be raised. My emails have had no response. Total scam.

bought a book from them through abebooks. it was a specific edition, i guess quite rare since i haven't found many used copies elsewhere, and when i did it was at a quite high price. they offered it at a very low price and i ordered without thinking twice nor checking reviews. the book arrived a bit more than a week later and i had to pay a bit of an extra charge at delivery (5 euros), i guess because i live in italy and the book was shipped from uk, but the book was the one i was looking for and in perfect conditions! trying to counterbalance all the negative experiences described here

I share the bad experience of so many other reviewers. I ordered from Abe Books, not noticing reseller details. Abe sent me confirmation of despatch and tracking number given by Greener Books. The tracking number was not recognised by Royal Mail. The book never arrived. I complained to Abe Books who asked Greener Books to respond to me; they did not. Abe Books refunded my money and I asked them to look at Trust Pilot reviews and I gave my view that Greener Books may be insufficiently reliable to be an Abe Books reseller.

I ordered a book last week and unfortunately the wrong book was sent, however I emailed customer care straight away and by the next morning I had a reply that was sincerely apologetic and notifying me my original order was on its way. Brilliant customer service and reputable company. We all make mistakes be kind!

I placed an order on Abebooks. Greener Books sent 3 out of 4 books ordered. Because there's tracking saying the package was delivered they think there's no grounds for me to request a refund for the missing book. I am inferring all this from Abebooks - Greener Books aren't replying to my messages. Don't buy from them - so rude, rubbish customer service, flaky service.

Deceitful seller - took payment for book on ABE, Confirmed the order, marked as Dispatched, fake Tracking Information provided - no response to messages

This company is suspicious, ordered via amazon and the tracking number they gave me was fake. They were very quick to refund me and say I could keep the book when it arrives, if it arrives I'll be very surprised, as it's a small item customers don't usually notice so this is how they make money. Scammers.

I did not receive the book I ordered with them through Abe books and they haven't responded to any of my messages asking why,. I've asked for a refund and they haven't responded to that either. It has put me off using Abe books too, even though I've been using the site for years. Steer clear of Greener Books. (I don't know why I've had to give them one star or what that would be for! No stars.)

Excellent service, thank you. I searched for a particular book, it came up on your site at an amazing price. i bought it. It has arrived four days later! In excellent condition.

Did not give me one of the books I ordered on abebooks.com. And I cannot seem to get a refund because they sent the other two with tracking information, - except the third wasn't in with them. Beware of this company. I think it's a scam they have going.

Sadly had to give 1 star. Terrible company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! Bought a Diary of a Wimpy Kid do it yourself book. And all the pages had already been filled in. The seller should be checking their books before selling and disappointing children.

After previous experience I said I'd never buy from this company again, Had two awful purchases from them but I thought third time lucky ?..wrong! Bought a crossword book described as in Very Good condition ! Book arrived with the first 150 pages,yes,150 pages ripped out. Complained and was told to send the book back at my expense for a refund ! They can want..there will be no fourth chance. Beware of this company.

I ordered via Abebooks and received from Greener books very soon afterwards: The Holy Spirit's Interpretation of the New Testament - A Course in Understanding and Acceptance for £18. It was described as Very good condition. However, on receipt I saw it had comments in black biro on 40 pages. I have to say I was very upset and aggrieved. So, I wrote asking for a refund and to be able to return the book without paying for delivery. I read the mostly poor reviews here on Trustpilot and chose to release my desired outcome - especially as the title of the book includes it being A Course in Understanding and Acceptance! The next day I received an apology, a refund, and told I could keep the book without charge. It feels like this was a beautiful lesson for me to let go and accept ... and who knows, the notes from the previous owner might just be what I need to see!

I ordered a second hand book on Amazon and it arrived 3 days later great condition and came with a tracking number. This is obviously a very young company as they are still building their website. I wish them all the success and long may they re-cycle great books.

I have had similar experiences as other reviews. I ordered a book which was supposed to be sent on 6 February. As of today nothing has arrived and I've had no response from the seller. I'll not use this seller again. I think it is a case of 'buyer beware'. Abebooks should stop using this shop.

Ordered school book for my daughter. Wrote 3 times asking for updates as the status kept saying Not yet dispatched... asking for a reimbursement now via AbeBooks...

There seems to be a pattern. I ordered a book. It said it had been dispatched by Royal Mail but never arrived. The Royal Mail code showed an error. After 10 days and still telling me they thought the book would arrive they gave me a refund. This was ordered through Amazon so very disappointed.
