My experience started off great until…

My experience started off great until 2-3 weeks into having the car . And I contacted the garage and Awais expected me to find a garage and basically sort it out I was told balancing so I got it done then told I couldn’t get my money back later found out both driveshafts have worn and now no one can get parts . And this Awais expects me to put my grandchildren in a dangerous car to go on holiday next week . Seems to me some underhanded stuff goes on with mots

Con Artists, do not use this dealership!!!

Bought a car back in November 2025, within the first few days we noticed a fault with the car. Put in a complaint via the dealership and broker "Car Finance Genie". Was advised by Car Finance Genie we have the right under Consumer Act to send the vehicle back as a right to reject within 30 days of purchase. Decided to pursue this route, but Greenlight Motors were very reluctant to go down this path. They advised we take it to a local VAT registered garage for a diagnostic. Did this and it turned out to be a transmission fault. After a lot of messing about and the broker fighting our corner, it was agreed for us to return the vehicle as an unwind back to Greenlight Motors which was a 160 mile round trip for us. Once there, none of the staff or management where aware of this, and then refused an unwind we was promised as they deemed that the car had no faults. They then said they would fit a new clutch for us following our previous diagnostic at our local garage and return the vehicle to us, having no other option, and being forced in to a corner by Alex at Greenlight Motors, we gave them the benefit of doubt to carry out all their promises, which also included a £100 reimbursement for our fuel cost and time returning the vehicle, a 12 month national warranty, and a funded MOT when due, as the car was meant to come with at least 9 months+, when it only came with 7 months. The repair was allegedly done without any proof or receipt. The car was delivered back to us by a flat bed a few days later, very late at night. Test drove the vehicle, and to our surprise, the vehicle was not fixed and came back worse than when we dropped it off, it also had an Engine Management Light on. None of the above agreements where met either. We then had to go down the route of an unwind by going through Autolend and escalating our original complaint via them. They then had to get Dekra (independent examiner) to come out to our address and carry out a full report and diagnostic on the vehicle. Dekra found the vehicle to have severe faults with the transmission, and stated that this had not been repaired and that the vehicle should of never been sold as it wasn't fit for purpose. On receipt of Greenlight receiving this, they where very reserved in acknowledging this as a priority and when they did, they had no leg to stand on and had to accept the vehicle back as an unwind. They then refused to collect the vehicle and we was told if we wanted to go down the path of right to reject, then we had to yet again, drive the vehicle back down to them. We argued this, and eventually we got a phone call without any notice that they was collecting the vehicle that day, which left us in a predicament and changed our plans that day with the kids, I also had to have time off work as they said they was coming for 7pm. They collected the vehicle at nearly midnight that following day, and when I stated that this wasn't acceptable due to the time and folk being in bed including the kids, all we got from Management following the recovery guy contacting them was, "No, its coming back today, do what you need to do and collect the vehicle". We wasn't impressed by this as the loading of the vehicle is a noisy process. 6 weeks later, we are still in an active Finance agreement with Autolend and fighting alongside them for Greenlight Motors to refund the cost of the vehicle back to them for us to get our refund from what we have already paid in to it. As this is all going off, Greenlight Motors have already put the vehicle back up for active resale for £9,975 when we only paid £9,495, baring in mind the car has still got an active outstanding Finance still live on it, it isn't HPI cleared yet, they are also trying to throw some extra costs over to us for mileage and other things. Autolend are not happy with this as the dealership is trying to resell the car for more profit than before and also profit of us as a customer.

I would advise anyone to stay clear of this dealership, they are noting but con artists with extremely bad post sale customer service. They are very two faced and will come across very caring and nice until they seal you in to a deal of buying a car, after that they will not want to know.

Outstanding Customer Care from Green Light Motors

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Customer Care From Start to Finish

I can’t praise the customer care team at Green Light Motors enough. From the moment I bought my vehicle, they’ve been nothing short of exceptional. They don’t just hand you the keys and disappear — they genuinely look after you long after the sale is done.

The team is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. Whether it’s a quick question, aftercare support, or just reassurance, they make you feel valued every step of the way. It’s rare to find a dealership that puts this much effort into customer service, but Green Light Motors truly sets the standard.

If you’re looking for a company that actually cares about its customers, this is the place. Highly recommended.

NOT EVEN 1 STAR!!

NOT EVEN 1 STAR!!! DO NOT EVEN BOTHER!!
Absolutely appalling garage, we bought a Tesla in December of 2025 OUTRIGHT. , took it home after a week there was a massive creaking sound from the top arm , they advised us to take it to a garage to get diagnosed, we took it directly to Tesla garage which ended up finding a MASSIVE list of things wrong.. over 3k. Undertray, rose bushings . 2 damaged alloys , top arms and a few other bits too, baring in mind before they gave us the car it ‘passed ‘ an MOT with NO advisories … Tesla advised it should of NOT passed its MOT. we contacted the garage and they wanted to do in house repairs to save them money, so we took it and they ‘fixed it’ still leaving us with a massive creaky top arm- happened again a week after so they probably greased it up and hoped for the best. We contacted again, they told us to get it diagnosed we did. 2 top front arms needed changing. Took the car in for the date they said and the car was there all day . I called them and they said wasn’t booked in even tho the car was there all day…. Booked it in again took it in, was booked in for 2 front arms. Only 1 was done- the creak was fixed this time so was happy with this. Called again and advised that only 1 was done and not 2 , booked it in and confirmed they would do the other one in a few weeks time as they couldn’t get me in any quicker as had over 30 cars in- advised them they maybe should sort a car that’s been having issues for months instead of few cars they keep getting in .- they can NOT keep up with their workload !!! Again car was there all day , I called them - advised they haven’t done it as it wasn’t needed - in between all of these bookings , bad at answering the phone. They all do not communicate with each other . They take on too much of a workload and can not keep up. Every time we turn we up there was most likely always someone else there also having issues with their car. We went back and forth to the garage more times than I can count and every single time without fail the issue wasn’t put to rest . I am very disappointed and I never want to see that garage again! Please do not put yourself in a situation with this garage as you will not get anywhere quick with them!! I could go on and on in this review I really could I’m very very DISGUSTED!!!!
