Wonderful Organization

I fostered for them and was a little nervous about having 5 tiny kittens. Anytime any of them showed signs of not feeling up to par, I contacted them and was given great support and advice. They truly care for animals and are some of the most dedicated rescue organization I have worked with. I ended up adopting 2 kittens and whi we adore. Great organization and I support them financially when I can.

- star...

- star.... one thing you can not run from is public open records. That is prove in black and white. How does a person get fired from a volunteer position??? I’ll tell you how when your death rate of the cats / kittens in your care is so high. Death rate of something like 30%??? But people think you are a good rescue group. They need to think again I will post the reports very soon. But it public records at league city...

Grateful and happy with Tiny Paws

In September 2020, we adopted a beautiful silver tabby.
We chose him when he started purring as soon as we took him out of the crate at the adoption event. He was described as being laid back and good with other cats. What a delight when we brought him home and he was just happy to be with us and he started trying to bond with our older, very reclusive cat. Now, in December, he has won her over - he gets her to play and they sleep together on our bed!
He is also a loving brother to a tiny kitten we took in after finding her on on our driveway - they cuddle and play all the time.
Additionally, the folks at Tiny Paws were very supportive with getting him neutered.
Anytime we called for advice, especially about our "found" kitten, they were always available and super helpful.
It has been a great relationship and we appreciate how knowledgeable, kind, and caring the volunteers at Tiny Paws are.
We are very happy with our little fur family.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We work hard to socialize our kittens and provide them with the love, attention, and medical care that they may require while in foster care.

I highly recommend GCTPR

I highly recommend GCTPR! They were quick to respond and made the whole process so personable and easy. My husband and I loved meeting the kittens in the comfort of their own home. It was hard to pick just one kitten but he's been such a loving, nudging, playful little guy. My experience with Tiny Paws has been great and i would definitely use them again for any future pets.

Thank you very much for the 5 star review! Our volunteers really do care and go out of their way to provide a good adoption experience. I always tell adopters that two kittens (which then become cats) are so much more fun than just one. Our two foster fail kitten adoptions are now both over 1 year old and they still run through the house and play together. When they're not playing, you can sometimes find them grooming each other or sleeping together. We also usually have at least 2 foster kitties in our home and it's fun to watch them at play.

So I had a cat that I just fell in love…

So I had a cat that I just fell in love with. So derpy and just adorable. Since she’s an older cat, the woman brought her over to my house to meet, she didn’t want us getting the wrong idea with meeting her in a place she would be uncomfortable in. So for the sake of the cat she cane to visit here. Denise explained to us about Bella, her characteristics, mannerisms and made sure we had things already set up. She was very personable and it make the whole transition for Bella much easier by coming to visit at our home. The thoughtfulness and car that goes into each creature they care for is incredible and unique. I highly recommend adopting from tiny paws. Our hearts are full of so much love, thank you for making this possible!

Great foster program for well adjusted happy kittens

Our family is a kitten foster for GCTPR and they are fantastic in supporting their fosters and adoption families. Our family loves working with the kittens to get them acclimated to living in a loving home and preparing them for their forever homes.

I am a kitten foster for this…

I am a kitten foster for this organization and love it! The organization provides each foster a mentor to help with day to day questions and issues, including medical support. GCTPR tries very hard to find the right family fit for each animal, not just "get it out the door". Potential adopters can have a "meet and greet" with animals they are interested in, either in the foster's home (and get first hand knowledge about the animal) or at an adoption event. Fosters can make requests as to how many animals and what type (kittens, puppies, etc) they have in their home. I have learned so much fostering with this organization and recommend them if you are looking to adopt, volunteer, donate, or foster.

Dishonesty

I recently adopted a kitten from this organization. Right away my kitten was sneezing with discharge. I asked the shelter about this for 2 weeks and the shelter would only provide advice like “its allergies” or she’s “just congested”. I took her to the vet and found out she has an upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. I am happy
I adopted this kitten but I am unhappy with the dishonesty of this shelter.

Hi Jessica,

We're very sorry you had a negative experience with our volunteers and animal. I hope Onyx is doing better and is fully recovered. We do have processes in place to make sure that the animals that go out for adoption are healthy. Like children, kittens can be showing no symptoms one day, and be sick that same day. We've personally fostered about 40 kittens in the last 18 months, so we've seen this happen time and time again.

I believe that Tracey (our founder and medical lead) offered to come look at Onyx in order to see her for herself so she could provide better medical advice. You turned us down. Her foster said it "could be allergies", suggested you give her Little Remedies and she also suggested that you take her to a vet for better medical advice since we didn't see her ourselves.

We do recognize that animals can have issues after they leave foster care that might not be showing. Tracey is finalizing an arrangement to provide free insurance for the first 30 days after adoption. I know this doesn't help you now, but we recognize it as a problem and are working to put a good solution in place.

Again, I apologize for our organization that you had a bad experience and I hope that you'll realize how much we invest of ourselves in caring for these animals (we're an entirely volunteer staffed organization). We really do care and are working to save as many of them as we can. That being said, we do also care about our adopters experiences too. We'll use your review to work on improving our communications between our medical team, fosters, and adopters.

A better forever home!

We had adopted a 1.5 year old dog from a shelter and unfortunately, after one month of work with a great trainer, we needed to make a different choice for both our kids and our dog.Tracey from Gulf Coast Tiny Paws called within 24 hours of my inquiry, listened, and provided nonjudgmental reassurance of our conclusions and that we could find a more suitable home. It took about a week and a half to find a temporary and then permanent new home for our dog. The change was upsetting to one of our children, and the photos and updates that Tracey sent during the process helped ease the transition, knowing our girl was happy and well cared for.

Happy animals, responsive organization!

We adopted our kitten from here, after reaching out to numerous organizations. Gulf Coast Tiny Paws Rescue was the most responsive of the bunch, by quite a margin. Moreover, they helped make sure that the transition from foster to forever home was a cinch! We had all the information we needed to welcome our feline family member. Special shout-out to Denise, an amazing foster, who attentively worked with our kitten and set him up to being absolutely spoiled in our household!

Thank you for the 5 star review! We do really try to respond as soon possible. Denise is not just an amazing foster but an amazing volunteer in general. She has sacrificed much of her sleep to help treat sick kittens. Self-sacrifice and animals first is certainly how I'd describe Denise. She's also fostered and cared for puppies and dogs when necessary. Which again, shows how dedicated she is to cat and dog rescue.

A great organization to adopt from

Great group of people who truly care about animals. We adopted 2 kittens through Gulf Coast and the total process was super easy and encouraging. I really liked that we were able to meet and interact with the kittens- 3 kids can be a lot but the cats loved them! So happy we were able to add 2 little four foots to our family.
