This review is regarding Mathew Gardener who is based at the plaistow branch of Haart Estate agents. He is currently doing veiwings or trying to sell 217 albert rd, E16 2JS on behalf of an unsavoury person. I am fully aware that this complete block is of a very poor standard. There is another flat ontop of 217, 219, there is no record of planning permission for 219 and the water supply to 219 is bridged illegally from 217. Thames water are investigating. Steal beams are coming away from the wall on the ground floor, water is coming out of the ground and from a knee high concrete wall. I found car insulation and rags in wall cavities as insulation, HORRENDOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The communal lighting for all the flats in this block is connected to 217s electric supply. 217 and 219 have multiple families living in each of the properties.
Matthew is fully aware that there is planning permission in place for an adjacent block which will consist of 4 flats. The windows in all existing flats are being moved to the front of the building and I find this really unfair that potential buyers are not being told about these major factors, and as a first time buyer, it could financially finish you. I hope this stops someone going through stress for no reason, theres no such thing as a bargin. I recommend that you buy a property with no tenants and no problems.
