I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Haart Estate Agents. Maintenance issues in the property were not handled properly or in a timely manner. I reported a serious problem with the bathroom — both the bathtub and the toilet were not flushing — multiple times via phone and email. Despite repeated follow-ups, it took over three months and the issue was still not resolved.

Communication was poor throughout, and I felt ignored as a tenant. On top of that, my deposit was not returned at the end of the tenancy. I eventually had to go through an adjudicator to get my money back, which was stressful and time-consuming.

Overall, I would not recommend Haart based on my experience. Tenants should expect better responsiveness and professionalism when it comes to essential repairs and deposit handling.

Haart Northampton. If you are a landlord avoid at all…

If you are a landlord avoid at all cost. The lettings team Mohammed and Leo at first informed they had found a couple with kids but they are lesbian. Confidentiality breach and did they want me to discriminate? I did not quite understand why l was being told this because whom people love or get in a relationship with is not my business.
Haart's property management team not honest people. No communication skills. Rent should have been deposited in my account on the 27th of April, l was told the tenants are separating or divorcing. When l asked how was that relevant to rent being paid, l was informed they get paid on the 30th. On the 1st of May l was told by Isaac they had seen proof of payment and because of bank holiday there will be a delay. Its the 6th now and no sign of payment. Calls not being answered now

Hard work pays off

From start to finish everyone at Haart worked tirelessly to get my tenancy in place. Despite external companies delaying and not responding the whole team stayed positive and got me into my new home on time.
Could not recommend Haart more! Thank you to every single member of staff I spoke to or did work on my move

Avoid haart Northampton – Dishonest and Unfair Charges!

I strongly warn anyone against using haart estate agents Northampton. My biggest piece of advice: do not let them pressure you into submitting a review at the start of your tenancy like they want you to. Wait until you have lived there for a few months or moved out to see their true colours.

According to the 77020 Adjudication Report, they tried to hit us with a ridiculous £348 claim when we moved out of 23 Ashburnham Road, most of which was completely unjustified. The Boiler Scam: They tried to charge us £198 for a "boiler lockout," claiming we broke it by turning off radiators. We had actually reported heating and hot water issues to them multiple times in January, July, and November 2025, yet they still tried to blame us for "tenant negligence." The adjudicator saw through this and awarded them £0.

Dishonest Cleaning Fees: They demanded £150 for a "full professional clean" despite the property being returned in "Good" condition. They even tried to charge for a shower that was recorded as "Poor" and mouldy when we moved in. The adjudicator threw out the bulk of this, awarding them only £30 for minor, localised marks.

If we hadn't fought this through flatfair adjudication, they would have happily pocketed £348 of our money for maintenance that was their responsibility and cleaning that wasn't required. They are dishonest and will try to profit off your deposit.

Great customers skills

Excellent customer service
I was looked after by an agent named Celso on Saturday.
With what seemed a bumpy start he turned it into a smooth ride.
We visited the branch earlier this week and booked a viewing but it wasn't recorded on the system.
I was meant to work from 1.00pm.
I called Haart to confirm my appointment but they couldn't find me on the system which really annoyed me because I only had a couple of days where I could visit the house
It was nearly 11.30am but there seemed to have no viewing booked under my name.
He managed to rebook me on the same day for a 12.00 pm viewing.
I am really grateful that Celso went out of his way to accommodate my needs.
Thank you.
Although his colleague let me down, Celso did his best to improve my experience with Haart.

Landlords beware

I have been a landlord for 20 years and dealing with Haart Estate agents walderslade has been the most frustrating and stressful let. Once they have your fees, getting a response is like banging your head against a brick wall. They have kept my new tenant's deposit since 10th April and as I was running out of time to upload it onto the Deposit Protection Scheme within 30 days, I have used my own money to make sure I'm compliant. I have emailed multiple times, either no reply or unhelpful response. Now I am stuck wasting my time trying to get the deposit returned to me together with a receipt for the fees I paid which I have requested numerous times. Poorly managed branch. They make you feel like you are going to spend the deposit money so they are protecting it. Despite me providing the information they needed, they continue to ignore me. I definitely do not recommend haart walderslade for landlords. Shocking service. The only good thing that has come out of it is realising how great our last letting agent was who we will be going back to.

aart Milton Keynes: Illegal delays and manufactured charges.

I am appalled by the conduct of the Haart Milton Keynes branch. Since 11 March 2026, they have withheld our deposit without legal grounds. They attempted to override the landlord’s own instructions to refund us in full, choosing instead to try and claim "arrears" for a period where they already held the keys and exclusive possession of the property.

Only after persistent emails citing the Tenant Fees Act and the TPOS Code of Practice did they admit the "system" was clear and the rent was waived. Yet, 8 days later, we are still waiting for the transfer. This is a clear case of unreasonable withholding of undisputed funds. Formal complaint raised with The Property Ombudsman. Prospective tenants and landlords beware: their administrative incompetence is matched only by their lack of transparency.

Best energy from a Letting Agent I've ever had!

I met with Daniel for a viewing at a Nottingham property. He was so relaxed and welcoming! Honestly the best energy I've gotten from a letting agent in my many years of renting. I wish he could accompany me on all of my property viewings. It would make them so much more enjoyable.

Scam!!

I and my partner met Kamran 5 weeks ago and we were made to believe we had secured a house we wanted to let only to be told a week later that the landlord pulled out.Had paid holding deposit in a rush, was told a lie about getting it back within 7 working days.Been ringing their office very week and given a fake promise that the funds have been released, taking our bank details and all only to be told the next week that someone forgot to process the funds.I do not believe Haart letting is a legit company but just a scam and will be reaching out to relevant authorities to recover my money. Please stay away from this scam.

Where do I start

Where do I start, Sheerness branch the valuer knocked £20k off my property compared with their online (and general) valuation. I was promised the final sign off for the narrative and photos before it was advertised and the next day found it on their website. I queried this as they had put the wrong price and described it as a semi detached, when it's an end of terrace. They have their 'open day' and a rather rude agent told me nobody was interested and they had no bookings.....it was then I blew a gasket and complained. They have done me no favours or my property. I'm not impressed and don't feel comfortable with them handling the sale so have engaged other potential agents. The 'contract' isn't worth the paper it's written on as they have already breached it by advertising my house before giving me the final sign off. Communication is non existent, staff are vague and rude....a total rip off for their commission, avoid like the plaque!

Who is Rebecca :)

These guys trawl the housing platforms then try and poach business from other Agents. I had a hand written note posted to me stating they had a buyer for my house. The note was from Rebecca, I called but was told she was out - I was basically told that they couldn't engage with me whilst I had an agent - so I asked the question why they had contacted me? I was told they did have potential buyer blah blah blah. So basically they want your current agent to do all the work, come out, value, photograph, take calls, do viewings and then get ditched unpaid....oh yeah Im really gonna trust a company like that. Apparently 'Rebecca' does this a lot in my area but to date nobody has managed to speak to her. Avoid.

Georgia Speck

Georgia Speck - is the reason for the 5 star her as an individual. She has been helpful and consistent in all communication and dealings.

I have struggled with haart and i am in the process of moving property away from them. Management is disappointing.

However Georgia Speck is incredible. If they had all the staff like this , this would be a good company.

What started as a good initial…

What started as a good initial conversation quickly turned into a lot of false promises, zero contact and a bunch of spam emails.
My experience with James from the Nuneaton branch quickly ended once the for sale board went up, they promised a viewing day, but never returned my calls or emails, did nothing to help sell my home (apart from copying the Purple Bricks advert to their site) and after around 8 months of zero contact with me now just bombard me with spam emails and even when you click the link to unsubscribe they just keep coming. Terrible company thats clearly built on a lot of lies. Aviod!

I am currently going through an…

I am currently going through an extremely stressful and ongoing dispute regarding my tenancy, and I feel it is important to share my experience.

After moving out of the property, I was presented with a series of charges that are, in my view, completely excessive and unjustified. The total amount being claimed has reached nearly £30,000, which appears to reflect full refurbishment costs rather than reasonable tenant liability.

From the beginning of the tenancy, the property was not provided in a clean or satisfactory condition. There were multiple pre-existing issues, including mould, pest problems, and maintenance faults, all of which were reported with evidence. Despite this, these conditions now appear to be disregarded.

In addition, I was never properly provided with or asked to sign a check-in inventory report, which raises serious concerns about how the condition of the property is being assessed.

I have formally disputed all charges and provided supporting evidence. The case is still ongoing, but the process has caused a significant amount of stress and uncertainty.

I would strongly advise future tenants to document everything carefully, as situations like this can escalate quickly. I hope this matter will be reviewed fairly and resolved appropriately.

Jack pollock was great through out the selling of my late parent's house. On his first visit he was really positive about the house even though it was dated and needed work which meant a lot as it was our family home for 50 years and we felt emotional about selling it.
He kept us updated on all viewings and offers and guided us through to a sale at the asking price. Thank you Jack.

Absolutely shocking service from this estate agents had an appointment at 12:30 today for Michael to come and view a property there was no communication from him or the company in the end we waited 2 hours with nothing still. After calling haart they advised the appointment had been cancelled which hadn’t been by us so they had cancelled and not advised us. We have drive up from Essex as this is my late father’s property and after it already being a stressful time haart did not make it any easier. If I could give -5 stars I would.

I've just bought my first home that was…

I've just bought my first home that was advertised with Haart Colchester First Time Buyers and I cannot say I'd recommend them at all. When I booked my initial viewing, the estate agent did not turn up (thankfully the owner showed me around). I was then talking to a third party regarding offers, and when my offer was accepted, Haart had no idea and I was the one that told them. When I tried to book a second viewing (after the previous owner had moved out), no one got back to me until I sent a firm email outlining my disappointment in the lack of contact. It took over a week before someone got back to me. When the viewing was finally booked, the estate agent was late to the viewing, and he could not unlock the door to the property for a good 10 minutes. He called the previous owner for advice on how to unlock a door. On completion day, I called to ask if I could come in to collect the keys, and I was told yes. When I arrived, I had to wait before being told that actually I could not collect the keys as the completion had not gone through on their end, so I left empty handed. They called less than an hour later saying it had gone through, so not sure why they said I could come in and collect when I originally called. The estate agent I was dealing with asked for meter readings for the electric and water. I could not find the meter for the water and so called him to ask for help, but he had no idea where the meter was either. If/when I look to sell, I will not be using Haart.
