We book as it says on the website for off season to get from Malmo to Varberg station. We call one hour before to book the taxi and get told he will be 10 minutes late. But ok. We go to the bus station and a cab driver says something timidly through the window and we can’t even make out what he says before he waves us away. (We can speak Danish, Dutch, English and a little Swedish). We call the company to check and sure enough this is the bus (a taxi)… he drives us with another guy in there and proceeds to drive 50 minutes out when we were only 25 minutes away so now our 25 minute drive becomes a 75 minute drive and the guy he drops off could have been after us. But he decides to do it for him the best way with the highways back. We work out it would have been just as much time to hike for us 3k to walk here and we have a booking at 10 we thought as the ticket says 10:03 so we should be there at 10:43 (with the extra random 12 minute delay we get told about from the booking agent from Halladndstrafiken. But now it’s 11:30 and we get there. So my summary is I don’t recommend unless you are four people to fill the cab with one route or it’s summer.
