I’m even hesitant to give it 1 star

I’m even hesitant to give it 1 star. The service is HORRIFIC, TERRIBLE & AWFUL and to top it off I called the number provided from the bus stop to see if they can help me in anyway but was rather talked down with an attitude & was told they don’t know anything about it that I should just check online which I do but isn’t helpful that’s why I called. The buses are ALWAYS LATE & NEVER ON TIME not just 5-10mins but 20-30mins or it doesn’t turn up until the next hour. There’s no way of knowing where the buses are other than the timetables but it’s basically useless because it never comes on time shown on the timetable.

I waited in bus shelter at Lower Heyford stop. Driver did not look, drove past. I shouted, waved and ran and it stopped. Driver (no. 4788 on ticket) said he looked. Clearly did not. Then blustered, finishing up "Next time I won t stop."
Is this Hallmark Bus Company's policy>

A Disgrace!!

This is by far the worst bus service I have EVER used. They run one bus an hour which is ALWAYS late. And not just by 5mins, between 20-30mins late. And to top it all off they charge an fortune!! But obviously the company doesn’t care as they know people have no choice but to use it. Absolute disgrace!!
I have honestly experienced a more reliable service in third world countries where the ‘roads’ and infrastructure are questionable.

Would recommend, went above and beyond

Was served by an absolute gentleman aboard the 555 service having arrived just on time, was having difficulty with my card on the reader and the driver went out of his way to ensure i had the time to use the machine and get settled for the journey, will recommend this service to all my freinds and work colleagues as its truly a good service, wont lie ive had bad experiences but i believe this was all hand in hand with the development of the company having expanded its services recently, thanks again to the driver.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Incompetent and incapable of providing the service they are paid for. Rude drivers and their 'customer service' isn't much better. The school bus they provide is continually late with lame explanations and excuses. A shame we have to use them.

Is there a Trading Standards or ombudsmen to complain to?

Dreadful service with severely delayed and infrequent buses, driven by uninformed drivers, ensuring that my son's attendance record for college is tarred. There doesn't seem to be a way to contact the company other than filling out an online comment form which based on other people's reviews, ends there with no further follow up. Considering this service is used at rush-hour, it would be thought that the company might provide something more than one bus an hour; the earlier one getting my son to college 1.5 hours before he needs to be there and the ideal one getting him there 30 minutes after lessons have started.
