Liz was very helpful and professional.Made a difficult experience more relaxing I would highly recommend hammer solicitors if you are looking at getting help for family mediation.

“Mummy, I didn’t know she would be so nice” - that was the reaction of my 12 year old son after spending over an hour with Liz at Hamers in child mediation.
My children (12 & 9) were naturally nervous about mediation but Liz was amazing with them. They must have felt very comfortable with her because they spoke their truth to her and told her a lot. Had it not been for Liz putting them at ease, they wouldn’t have opened up.

I just want to thank Liz for making a such huge positive difference for my children. They’ve had their say and they now feel listened to and heard and their truth was taken into account in court and has helped shaped a new Order they are happy with.

Found them helpful in the process with our right to buy it did take longer then we anticipated but that was down to waiting for answers from land registry and council and we all know how council can drag their heels...unless u owe them money of course..
Amanda Powell was extremely helpful very competent and sympathetic with our situation but we would like to thank her for all her hard work and input much appreciated and wish her health and happiness for the future.

I will start with a positive. We have used Hamers on a number of occasions and have been happy with them until now! I am beginning to believe if the sale or purchase is simple your fine but if it gets complicated then don't hold your breath. We had our offer accepted for the property on the 19th March it is now 10th October and do not feel any further on. Our latest email 10 days ago told us hopefully we would be informed of a date the following week, we received an email at the last hour on Friday saying she had not heard anything and would follow up on it next week!!!!! when you have clients who have been waiting so long to complete why would you not check before contacting them so you can report something back to client rather than leave them in limbo again. The biggest and most serious problem I have with them is around 4 months into the sale we were told that the other parties were ready to complete and for us to choose a date and get out finances together. My wife cancelled her cleaning jobs with her customers as she is starting again at our new address, she does not drive. We also cashed in our investments to be told by Hamers 2 weeks later they had got it wrong and the other parties were not ready to complete😡 we have heard since someone died in the chain and property gone to probate. They don't seem to deal with problems well and will never use again. They have cost us our investment income, my wife's work income, the extra rent we are paying waiting for this to complete and the Stamp Duty we will now have to pay not to mention the heart ache and lack of information. We are actually contemplating calling it a day and cutting losses. We will see. Very depressed about the whole thing.

For conveyancing, Gemma Prudent is an asset to the company. Communication and proactiveness is on point. Got my sale through smoothly and relatively very quick. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I don't know about the other branches but I had an experience in the Family one and I didn't have a good experience at all. No, I wouldn't suggest them.
