Recently bought The Lakes candle and it is beautiful!! The fragrance is lovely and fills the whole room. Would highly recommend and am planning on buying many candles from Handmade in Harpenden as gifts and for myself!

Have used HIH several times and am always so impressed by the products and custom service. I placed my order Wednesday mid morning, by Wednesday evening the item had been hand delivered! As usual the Rose Bath Salts look and smell amazing!

Ordered for a friends birthday as I wasn’t able to shop or deliver to her. Great service with a gift card and lovely cotton bags. She said that the candles and hand wash were divine and loved the scent, a very apt gift for the moment. Hoping I may get the same when it’s my birthday!

I ordered for the first time recently after a friend said they had a positive experience. The service was second to none....even moreso in the current covid situation. The candles and diffuser I bought are obviously of a high quality and I will have no hesitation recommending handmade in Harpenden to anyone.

Just received my order of Plum and Rhubarb hand wash and it smells great, so much nicer than what I normally use, the smell lingers on your hands which is nice and it doesn’t dry my skin, with all the washing we’re doing at the moment this makes so much nicer, it’s a good sized bottle so should last a while and unlike a lot of places at the moment you get your order fast, that and first class service, highly recommended

I bought a 3 wick bergamot and green tea candle at a Christmas market on a bit of a whim but it was the best purchase and was worth every penny. It smelled divine and lasted for ages (even though it was used constantly for weeks!). I got so many compliments from family and friends. Thank you for making such beautiful products - I’ll be back soon for a replacement!

I bought the Green Tea and Bergamot candle and it’s absolutely gorgeous! The smell is lovely and I love the design of the candle. Will definitely be buying more.

Purchased the Bergamot candle at the St Albans Sustainability Market and haven't stopped burning it since! The fragrance is lovely without being too overpowering or subtle. Would definitely recommend and will be purchasing again soon!

I came across these candles at the St Albans sustainability market recently, bought one which was lovely and ordered a set of 4 afterwards online which arrived quickly. They are excellent with a very clean scent, the bergamot is my favourite.

I received the green tea and bergamot candle as a gift, and is honestly the nicest candle I’ve ever had. The wick burns really well and you hardly get any tunnelling. The smell is really soft and fills the room nicely. 10/10 recommend this product- will definitely buy another one soon!

Bought a 3 wick candle and a reed diffuser recently and they both smell great. Would highly recommend, especially if you’re after something made locally and with natural ingredients.

H in H candles and diffusers make wonderful gift.The only problem is in choosing a scent! As an added bonus the products are totally ethical and produced locally by a charming couple of people.

The candles are beautifully scented when burning. They are not overpowering like candles that have synthetic fragrance in them. The speed of delivery and customer service was impeccable.

The order went through and we got a nice little branded box in a couple of days. The candles also come in nice little gift bags, which is a nice touch.

Beautiful and high quality handcrafted furniture and homewares. I am really pleased with the Jasmine and Ylang Ylang candle, it creates a delicate and relaxing ambiance at home. I received the goods very quickly and nicely packaged. I will surely come back to them when I need new home furniture or christmas gift ideas.
