Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 40 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers struggled extensively with missing orders and items completely failing to arrive on time for crucial family events. People also experienced severe communication breakdowns because the phone numbers provided did not work and customer messages were entirely ignored. Some people were dissatisfied with the extremely poor quality of the items received, which looked nothing like the pictures shown online. Furthermore, customers noted that the ordering platforms' presentation was unclear, appearing as trusted local shops. Buyers frequently found themselves unable to secure refunds after their purchases failed to materialize.

So so terrible

So so terrible! Like many reviews I’ve seen here (absolutely wished I had seen these before) delivery was a total mess. Funeral was on the Tuesday they promised delivery on Monday - nothing was delivered. Tuesday 20mins before the funeral, I found out my flowers were not delivered. As you can imagine the panic I found myself in. They gave me nonsense excuses and delivered 15mins before everything ended. Might I add- what they delivered was not what I ordered.

£300 on flowers and I couldn’t even get them on the phone.

No compensation for the ordeal they put me through.

I could never and would never recommend them

Happy Flowers are a dreadful over expensive and non responsive firm who are only too willing to take your money on the internet but will not then deliver on the day you ordered.
They messed us around terribly and are to be avoided at all costs

Disgusting service. Avoid Avoid Avoid...like coronavirus..literally.

Ordered flowers for funeral. Took money and no correspondence thereafter. No delivery & don’t answer phone.
How this company is still running I’ve no idea.
This company seem to thrive on scamming people who are already going through turmoil (funerals)…..

UPDATE- 2024 No refund was ever given or correspondence to my mum who ordered these

I ordered a wreath for my father’s funeral delivery should have been before 11am on 5April! Despite many messages chasing and reminding no response! No delivery deducted £100 and NO DELIVERY. Finally call answered at 5pm on 5 April saying canceled order we sent you email at 2pm today!! Awful and disgusting. I had no wreath to place on my fathers grave! Still no response today 6April! No email ! This is a bogus rip off company! I am disgusted and hurt how they make promises of next day delivery and no show or courtesy call to say cannot do!

No flowers, no refund.

I ordered flowers for a friends birthday with plenty of time for them to be delivered. I was contacted by 'Nicole' who informed me that she couldn't honour the delivery. I requested the order be cancelled and they said they'd refund the order, that as a month ago. Since then I have emailed twice about my refund and not had a reply. I will now have to contest it with my credit card company.

Flowers delivered but not what was ordered!

My flowers were ordered in the U.S. through a U.S. florist, not by me, but still I know they were incorrect. This is embarrassing enough, I just hope there are no more issues like ones detailed in other reviews!
My family in the USA are very disappointed that I did not receive the flowers on Saturday as requested as we had a big family zoom that evening and they were supposed to have arrived.
The balloon delivered with the flowers was a plain red one, not with the “Grandma” inscription that they had specifically ordered.
I have emailed the company and they have ignored my email, I have had no reply from them.
This is shockingly bad customer service. The product has not been delivered as ordered. It is embarrassing and brings shame on the UK.

NEVER NEVER NEVER use this service

NEVER NEVER NEVER use this service. I am still awaiting the outcome for an investigation/dispute when I was told my flowers had been delivered. No reply, no apology, no reimbursement. They were eventually found half way down the road, wrong house number, wrong flat number.

Bouquet not delivered

I ordered well in advance a bouquet to be delivered today 08/03/21.
I paid obviously, and obviously money was taken instantaneously.
But nothing happened today. And I didn't receive an email, a sms, a phone, nothing.
Nobody showed up, rang the gate or door bell.
Extremely disappointing.

One star is overly generous for this outfit.
Free delivery turned out to be a £10 charge and the flowers were not delivered on the day promised.
When they did arrive they were damaged and in very poor shape.
Attempts to reach them via email were ignored and all attempts to reach by phone were not answered.

Funeral flowers: wilted, not what I ordered and arrived late

I requested a floral spray for my late mother's funeral. The request was "the arrangement to be done mostly in yellow, red and orange colours; the customer doesn't want pink and white but to be mostly in these three colours"
I was informed that they would be delivered the day before the funeral so that they could go out on time for a 10am ceremony. Firstly, the flowers arrived at the funeral directors just over an hour before the ceremony AFTER the hearse had left. The funeral directors kindly organised an emergency driver to get them to the crematorium in time. We were very close to having no flowers at all. Secondly, the flowers were 50% white, 25% pink and 25% red, orange and yellow. Some of the flowers looked quite sad and a few of the roses were browning. Furthermore, when I contacted the florists, they told me that everything had gone as I had requested. I feel incredibly disappointed in the service that I have received and gaslighted by them as well. Interestingly, they screen all their phone calls and are now only responding to me by email. Funerals are stressful to organise and I would not recommend funeralflowers for the additional stress that they have caused me. They also seem to operate under several names e.g. handyflowers, funerralflowers, funeralflower which seems a bit suspect

Scammers

Would give no stars if possible!
I ordered a £65.00 bunch of flowers for my wife Birthday and a nearly dead bunch of roses arrived.
It bears no resemblance to the photo that I picked off the web site.
Sent email and left voice mail but no one has replied.
Avoid this bunch of scammers as they won't be around long when trading standards get hold of them

The flowers I ordered were due the be delivered with a vase so I could get the Chaplin to lay them out as we couldn’t go ourselves this year due to the lockdown, the flowers arrived might I had £35 for 3 flowers and no vase, when I emailed the company about this they were adamant that they would not of made a mistake and the vase has the be there why a Chaplin would lie I do not know. Unhelpful in every way do not use.

Failed to deliver funeral flowers today for my mums funeral resulting with an empty coffin. Special NAN arranged from grandchildren not delivered. Flowers from us children not delivered.
Payment taken and emailed to confirm. FAILED DELIVERY RESULTING IN NO FLOWERS RECEIVED, on what was one of the saddest days of our lives.
I will ensure this is made public. On every single platform available.
Communicating with the staff on customer care is impossible and not one apology received.
DISGUSTING DISGRACEFUL BUSINESS.

Be careful, you may be in trouble with this company

I have placed an order for the flowers for my daughter's birthday. Later I messaged my daughter if she received the flowers? The answers was -No. Meanwhile, she says, - I have flowers with a strange message that might be yours,
I e-mailed the flower company asking to fix the problem. The answer was, that they will give me a 10% credit when I place a new order.
As far as I understand my daughter did not receive flowers from me because of the mistake.
I would never use this store again and should advise other customers to be careful with this business.
