Fantastic 10/10
The course was brilliant. Tamsin our instructor was great, very knowledgeable and taught the classes extremely well. Can recommend to any soon to be parents.
Happy parents happy baby course = fantastic
Happy parents happy baby course was amazing and I was lucky to be able to be a part of it. Our group had Lauren as the host of our sessions and she was honestly fantastic! Everything was set up extremely and very well run, from the face to face sessions, the live sessions and sessions available on the portal.
The face to face sessions Lauren hosted were amazing, and she comes with a wealth of knowledge, people skills, made me feel comfortable and so approachable and friendly and the session were packed with great theory and practicality !
Anybody looking to do this course wouldn’t regret it all and it really helps you prepare for all steps leading up to your baby and when the baby arrives.
Would honestly recommend HPHB to everyone!!
Thanks again to HPHB for an amazing course and to Lauren for being an incredible host me and my wife found all sessions to be perfect and really helpful.
My partner and I had a great experience…
My partner and I had a great experience at Happy parents happy baby and it was a very worthwhile experience. We were provided with lots of unbiased, practical information delivered in a friendly and understandable way and supplemented with practical activities. The provider was a fantastic host and there no questions was considered too small or silly. We would highly recommend it to new parents!
Fantastic
Really well setup session, online portal with pre reading followed by in person presentation. Sessions had a nice mix of theoretical and then practical hands on activities too. Also get to meet a bunch of great people for the future.
A course to boost confidence and make new pals!
Really enjoyed out NCT classes with HPHB!
Signed up with little knowledge, and walked away after the sessions feeling fully prepped, confident, with resources galore and a new set of friends to help support eachother through the next big step in our lives. 100% recommend the HBHP classes.
Great course host & really informative
Great course host, really informative and helped us feel more confident going into parenthood
HPHB Crystal Palace
HPHB was such a lovely experience, the sessions were very informative and our host was absolutely amazing , the conversations had were very helpful amongst us parents, our questions were answered in detail which is really reassuring. The venue we were at (westow house) was perfect and luckily air conditioned in the hot weather. The Hypnobirthing activities were so much fun as we all took turns swapping tables it allowed us to get to know each other a bit more.
HPHB
All sessions were really informative and we both came away feeling like we had something we could relate to our own context. If we had any questions we didnt feel comfortable asking in front of everyone then the host would always stay back very approachable, friendly and honest.
The workshops that were more hands on we enjoyed more and have enjoyed getting to know others around us going through similar things.
Good value for money - would highly recommend
HPHB Cheltenham July 26
Holly was a great instructor and explained everything very well. It was also a great location and great group of people. I would definitely recommend to other expecting parents.
Informative and great to meet people :)
Informative and great to meet people :)
Really Happy Parents!
HPHB is such a great course to start this new parenthood adventure. All the topics are thoroughly covered, the instructors are available and set real expectations making you feel comfortable that no experience is like the other - in labour, in feeding, baby after care and so on. Hence why they make sure that every aspect is covered. You have many chances to get answers to all your questions with all the accessible material - video pre in session classes, in session classes and Q&S session - and loads of experts covering every topic.
The idea of having these meetings in a pub make the experience more sociable and helps making feel fathers more involved as well.
I could not recommend this course more!
The best course for expectant parents!
We can’t recommend the Happy Parents, Happy Baby course highly enough. As first time parents, we wanted to feel as prepared as possible for the arrival of our baby, and this course exceeded all of our expectations. It was absolutely fantastic and well worth both the time and cost.
The midwife running the course was incredibly experienced, knowledgeable and supportive. She delivered the sessions in a way that was informative, engaging and completely stress free, helping to reduce any anxiety or worries we had about becoming parents. No question ever felt too small, and her practical advice and reassurance gave us so much confidence.
The course covered a wide range of topics, including baby care, baby first aid, and postnatal recovery and support for both partners. We left feeling far better prepared for all aspects of parenthood and equipped with the knowledge and skills we needed for those early weeks and months.
We would wholeheartedly recommend this course to any new or expectant parents who want to feel confident, informed and prepared for the journey ahead. It was an invaluable experience and one of the best investments we made before welcoming our baby.
Fantastic! Can't recommend it enough.
I honestly can't recommend HPHB enough! The information was factual, relevant and evidence based, and created a great community within our group.
I chose to attend as an expectant mother, despite being a qualified midwife and I still learned loads!
This is the kind of information that every family should have access to in the run up to birth, there is so much included within the course beyond the face to face contacts, you won't regret attending these courses!
Good content and instructor but inflexible course
The course has good content and nice that there are many locations. The midwife Maisie who is leading the in person session is knowledgeable and awesome as well.
Downside is that they are totally inflexible given the amount of money we paid - whilst parallel in person sessions are running in venues close by on different days they don’t allow a single session swap…. this means that couples tend to miss at least one session if they had prior commitments without compensation.
Organisation wise, our experience wasn’t amazing - HPHB stuffed up their venue for one session via a double booking and the so called solution was poor - adding an extra ‘social’ without free drinks at the end of the course, and swapping round sessions meaning the “free online content session” would always take place ahead of the practical session & lead us scrambling to do pre-reading over the span of 2 days (instead of having a full weekend to prepare for the week ahead).
All in all a poorly organised and inflexible course, however good content and the people we met on the course were nice.
Really poor experience with HPHB. Recommend avoiding, to be on the safe side.
Really poor experience with HPHB, and I would recommend avoiding them to be on the safe side. They cancelled our classes last minute, and then completely refused to work with us to try to achieve a compromise where we could still try to make local connections, which was the whole point of the course as we are new to the area. Sam and Harriet refused to share our contact details with others, or ask others for permission to share their details with us, so we could still try to make local connections. They offered the online course instead, which doesn’t have any opportunity for meeting people. Incredibly poor treatment of people who placed their trust in them during an incredibly important time.
If you want to make connections (as is the main reason for people who sign up to ante-natal classes), I would strongly recommend going with another provider - Bump and Baby or NCT are good.
An Excellent Course for First-Time Parents
We attended the Happy Parents Happy Baby course in June, and it was such a worthwhile experience. We learned so much and came away feeling much more prepared and confident about becoming parents.
The practical sessions were excellent and really helped bring everything to life, while the group discussions were informative, engaging and gave everyone the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences.
One of the biggest highlights was meeting so many lovely local people who are at the same stage of life as us. It’s been a fantastic way to start building a support network before our baby arrives.
Unwelcoming space for non traditional set ups
If you’re queer or a solo parent this is not the group for you!
It’s been years since I’ve been in such an unwelcoming environment. I really advise anyone in a non traditional set up to think again.
10/10, no notes
My husband and I signed up to the Happy Parents Happy Baby classes ahead of our first born. It was a great opportunity to build confidence between us, as well as to meet local parents on the same journey and timeline as us, who have already become an amazing support network.
Our classes were led by Megan, a midwife in Weybridge who was engaging, personable, non-judgemental and reassuring.
I couldn’t recommend this course enough, it is one of the best things we’ve invested in as new parents.
We had a great experience with HPHB…
We had a great experience with HPHB (Bethnal Green). We found the materials provided very clear and informative and the in-person sessions with Ali were great and really fun. I think being in a pub made it more informal and relaxing for people to mingle before class. Would highly recommend !
Amazing!
The course was really engaging, informative and delivered in an empowering, positive way without anything feeling overwhelming. Could not recommend enough!
