Great tool for translating subtitles
I really like using Happy Scribe for my subtitles. We need to translate a lot of our spanish videos with english subtitles. Its so easy to use, and ediingt the subtitles is super easy. Great tool.

Since the price change: Completely overpriced
Warning: Suddenly 5 times more expensive...
I used Happyscribe for about 3 years. The translations were never really good. After they changed their AI model, some of the translations were so bad that I complained loudly. Some of the translations were completely made up and didn't make any sense. There were also massive problems with capitalization at the beginning of sentences, which remain unresolved to this day. After reverting to the old AI model, it was at least acceptable, although you always had to manually rework at least 30 minutes of a 12-minute video. I would have continued using Happyscribe if the following hadn't happened:
Happyscribe increased its price overnight – in my case, fivefold. I always had the Basic Plan for €120 per year. With this plan, I could upload a video and the included minutes were deducted. I then offered 5 different languages as subtitles on my platform. Overnight, Happy Scribe stopped offering this rate and introduced a system where each translated language is deducted as included minutes. In my case, this means:
10 paid minutes before
50 paid minutes now
Considering that the translation is far from good, this is an absolute no-go. Sorry, but that's no way to treat customers. Should I now charge my customers five times as much for my service? No, thank you. My inquiries to customer support were not even answered. I can no longer recommend Happy Scribe to anyone; it is completely overpriced for what you get now.

I mentioned that if you prefer not to be charged per translation, you can switch to one of our subscription plans, which work like your previous setup where translations aren’t billed separately.
I’ve double-checked our records and saw that our team replied to your messages and even arranged calls to explore solutions. I’m sorry if this still didn’t meet your expectations; we truly aim to support our users as best we can.

Great transcript service.
I had an issue with a deal I bought but they took care of it in a few weeks.
I use it for subtitling my videos and transcribing podcast interviews. I have to change minor details in the outcome.
