DONT BOTHER! A JOKE OF A PLACE.
Don’t look after the small fishing ponds . No where near an acre . Claiming 1.5 acres. Rubbish everywhere, no pegs or platforms to fish from . I had bad day all round recently . Expecting to catch regularly as it was re stocked because people were catching very little about 4-5 years ago . I caught loads all day then like you do on a well stocked comercial if you know what you’re doing. I couldn’t believe how scruffy it was . Looked like some people been night fishing because loads of rubbish, food and fishing hook packets empty bottles not put in bin but thrown in field behind . Barbed hook empty packets which arnt allowed. Burnt wood . No fires??? There was a bin there empty but through in field behind . Could have been like that for days or longer. Then 3 kids about 13-14 fishing on there own which isn’t allowed. Came in off a back lane so probably hadn’t paid. The fishing was terrible and couldn’t get a bite on perfect day for fishing. Everywhere else with fish well stocked fishing well. There were 2caught between 11 people in the 5 hours I wasted before sacked it. No sign hardly no line bites . I caught 60 odd small carp and a few bigger last time a few years ago . Can’t remember exactly. Supposed to be a commercial fishery charging average prices like bigger and better places . Just don’t care about it but take the money . The water level is down about2foot and the banks are a mess . No one ever comes round and pay on line. I’m sure fish will be getting stolen or and as well cormorants eating them . Which needs steps taking . People turning up walking round . Dumped umbrellas left in grass . The rubbish and burnt wood was on the bottom pond about 4weeks ago. In an area where you can get car on and someone had turned into a camping trip with fires and rubbish. It was blowing a Gale and really hard to fish so give up after an hour. So I went back 24th April yesterday and 11 people on arguing about casting near there line . On top pond. Blokes next to me got tangled up casting over his line . Others were arguing and swearing who’s fault and who’s swim. 3 kids as I said earlier throwing handful after handful of bait in even though catching nothing. The place is a joke and cannot claim to be a commercial fishery with very little fish , no pegs to fish from and the few platforms on the bottom lake broken. Joke and a disgrace don’t care at all.
