Great Customer Service

I had a couple of faulty knives within my order, however after emailing Harts of Stur, I got a response the same day, and they dispatched replacement knives the save day too.

Great service! 5 star well deserved.

I needed a lot of support from customer services for a recent order - first I forgot to add an item to my order, secondly a wrong item was sent. They were not only responsive and professional, but also friendly and understanding, something I rarely experience nowadays with so much automation and digitalisation. It's great to be able to speak or write to someone easily and explain the situation. Issues were swiftly resolved and to my satisfaction. I would recommend shopping at Harts of Stur.

I've just received my Alessi milk…

I've just received my Alessi milk frother that was ordered on the 1st of July. It took 3 seperate delivery company's to get here. First delivery company lost the item, second one delivered it to the wrong address and third time lucky, it arrived. 😍 What could have been a 1 star review has turned into a 5 star, due to the level of customer care i have experienced. I've never met a more dedicated customer service team than I did ordering from Harts of Stur. Shout out to Lucy who has been absolutely brilliant.

If I could give no stars then I would!
Ordered an Alessi whistling bird kettle on line as it was a very good price, used it twice and on the second time you could hardly hear the whistle, I was within the 30 days refund/replace guarantee so I contacted them and was told their policy was they needed a video of the fault, I recorded the kettle when it was boiling to prove there wasn’t a loud whistle and tried to send to them about 8 times, each time they said they didn’t receive it, I did ask why they needed it and they said they needed proof it wasn’t working, I have never heard of this before, other retailers believe their customers! They even said that they would have trouble getting the money back from the manufacturers, like that was MY problem!
After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing I managed to send a short video, I got a very short email back from customer services ‘I can hear the whistle, the kettle is not faulty’!
I did manage in the end to get them to agree to sending a replacement whistle (mine was white, they sent me all they had which was orange) and hey presto it works just fine , so much drama over a faulty item and very unhelpful company I haven’t got the energy to argue my case so stuck with an orange bird but I suppose at least it works!

We have looked into your order in more detail and found that our Customer Service Team requested a short video of the issue on 4 July 2026. However, we did not receive the video until 15 July 2026.

As soon as we received the requested video, we assessed it. Although it was not possible to confirm that the whistle itself was faulty from the footage, we dispatched a test whistle to you the very same day. It was delivered to you today. This means that as soon as we had the information needed to investigate the issue in full, we were able to provide appropriate troubleshooting.

We are pleased to hear that you have confirmed the test whistle performs better than the one originally supplied with your kettle. Based on this, we have already contacted the manufacturer to request a replacement whistle for you.

In the meantime, you are welcome to continue using your kettle with the temporary test whistle while we arrange for the replacement to be supplied.

Good quality plates

Good quality plates. Attractive lemons pattern with a matte finish. They were a gift so disappointed the cardboard packaging round one set of the plates was damaged on arrival.

The Stellar pans we ordered arrived…

The Stellar pans we ordered arrived very promptly. They are great for an induction hob and I would definitely recommend them to others. We did have a problem with a frying Pan we ordered separately but the lady in customer services sorted the problem out immediately and was very pleasant and helpful.
