I had Hart Windows replace 6 windows for me.
Dave came out to quote relatively promptly (26 November) but I had to chase for the quote twice and finally received it on 10 December. We decided to go ahead and paid the deposit promptly. After chasing 3 times we were told the windows would be fitted mid February, after I had been told it would be January! The windows were fitted in 2 separate jobs, and I was notified the night before on both occasions which in my opinion is very short notice.
On 15 January I had asked if Dave could come out and quote for a new front door. He came in person and said he would get a quote back to me the next day. On 27 January I chased again for the quote. When my windows were being installed on 12 February I requested that Dave come out and confirm what was happening about the door. He apologised for the poor communication and promised to get back to me. On 20 February I received this email:
Afternoon laura,ref your front door I cant get any of my suppliers to make the frame with the glass in top
Without making the door height smaller, so don’t think we can do it
Absolutely disgraceful customer service in my opinion. I have ended up going with an alternative local supplier who has been responsive and less expensive.
Made two appointments but the rep didn’t turn up for either. Have now contacted one of their competitors
