The hat I ordered arrived in a week. It seems good quality although I see it is Chinese manufactured. However, it fits, this was the only company that caters for extra small adult sizes.

Dont ever return a hat if you buy it from these thieves. I bought 2 stetson hats, i kept 1 and returned 1 in March. They didn't refund me saying they didn't receive the hat which is a lie, i sent it express delivery by post, so i lost my 99 pounds and the hat!
Unhelpful if not deceitful
Unhelpful if not deceitful. The whole process is a mess - it is far from clear when you place the order that you will have to pay import duty to receive the product. On receiving a notice for for customs payment I checked with Hatshopping they told me to pay and then they would refund so that is what I did…only to find a change of heart from Hatshopping who now say they cannot open the attachment with evidence of payment. This is despite separate evidence via their couriers tracking app (accessible to Hatshopping) saying customs duty was charged and paid! The amount owed will be in line with the tariff but for the moment they will not reimburse - evidence is needed!!!!! How much evidence do they need to fix something that should be their problem not mine. Don’t touch with a barge pole.

Ordered 3 hats, one arrived, quality would embarrass a street seller.
It’s so far off a castoff second it’s unbelievable, the hem around it is a few centimetres higher on one side than the other.
Just be wary that the quality is so poor you’d not even wear it for fancy dress.

This company are thieves. I ordered a hat and it arrived. It was the wrong size. I returned it and have proof. They won’t reply to any email and they won’t answer their phone number. I advise everyone not to order from here. Please beware. I am contacting my bank.

Absolute nightmare. Hat took over 3 weeks to arrive. Returned end of December. Led to believe free returns but not ( £14 postage to Germany) .Have had to send multiple emails to try and get a refund....still waiting!!!
Terrible company - Pay with Paypal only!
After returning a poor fitting flatcap to Hatshopping at my expense, I then spent a lot of time chasing a refund which never came. Conflicting messages on the return form led me to send the package to Germany instead of UK (scanning or using a return code generates a Germany return address). Eventually they confirmed receipt of the hat but ignored repeated requests for a refund. Thankfully I paid via Paypal and Paypal decided in my favour

An absolute lie!
- The return label they provide was NOT accepted by Royal Mail, DPD or anywhere else for that matter
- They failed to fully refund one of the two caps I sent back (thieves!)
- The representative eventually decided not to reply to my messages - great customer service!
If you are in two minds at purchasing from this company; I would advise to purchase elsewhere as they are not an ethical or honour what they state on their website.

Would not cover postage costs to return faulty item
I ordered a Stetson branded hat for my partner but got his head size wrong. Their returns process is very easy but you have to pay for the return to Germany, in my case this was £13 by DPD. They do not offer return postage at the same cost of delivery postage by using their courier. My fault for not checking his hat size but the return cost was hard to swallow, a lesson in buying in the UK!. The problem came with the replacement hat which had faulty stitching on the external hat band leading to puckering in more than one place, including at the very front. Despite sending a photo of the problem, they weren't interested in the issue and rejected my request to return it and have them pay for return postage as the item was faulty. In fact, they said they "couldn't understand the problem I am complaining about." I've not experienced this problem when buying in the UK before, faulty products have always been returned at the seller's cost and there has never been quibbling about an item being faulty. On the positive side they processed the return very quickly and despatched the new (faulty) hat without delay. The hats were very well packaged so there was no squashing in transit. They just don't handle problems with products very well.

So far not good. I think it is a dodgy company. Customer services very very bad. The goods reviews were probably written by them. Avoid them. Still waiting for a refund, cancelled the order. Will take up with Paypal as I am protected by them.

Distinctly dodgy
Strange organisation but comforting to know that my credit company was on to this website and declined the purchase - the organisation tried to get me to use a debit card/Paypal instead (no doubt for instant cash) - now found excellent and cheaper alternatives on ASOS and Amazon. Suggest you do the same.
Appalling customer service
I made an order for a hat from this company without realising that it was based in Germany and so products were shipped from here - but this is not necessarily a problem.
The problem came when the order - shipped by DHL and then supposedly delivered to UK Royal Mail for local delivery - went missing and was not delivered. Ok, this happens and is not usually an issue. However, when I reported this to their "customer services" team, I came away feeling that it was my fault that the item was missing and that I was trying to swindle them. Their answers to my email inquiries for information on the delivery and then for a refund were terse and unhelpful at best and rude at worst. I am still waiting for a refund as they will not even start to process the refund until they have received back the item ordered to Germany. They cannot even give me an answer as to which delivery company has it!!

Superb Service
This company is based in Germany and has an enormous selection of hats of all types. They service the Uk and the shipping charges they require are no more than you would pay a UK based company. I would also mention that in the past I have retuned an item which was the wrong size and they refunded my money in full including the cost of returning the item.
My latest purchase was an Australian Akubra Hat and my experience was so good that I simply had to leave this review. My Akubra arrived from Germany within three days of placing my order and it was beautifully packed. The hat was of superb quality and fitted perfectly.
Hatshopping even enclosed a complimentary set of Cork Sizers which I used to downsize another hat which I already owned. I was so pleased with the Hat Sizers that I emailed Hatshopping and asked if I could purchase two more sets for future use. I received an email from Hatshopping telling me that two sets of Hat Sizers had been sent to me free of charge.
Two days later I received a package with the Hat Sizers.
Superb Service and products. I highly recommend this Company.
