Absolutely fantastic customer service!
After purchasing the Sherpa outdoor heater I discovered a faulty ignition unit. Contacted customer service and a replacement part was sent and it arrived the following day. Martin in the technical department couldn’t do enough to sort out the problem.

I recently purchased a 3Kw Shadow XT heater to install on my new aluminium pergola. It works really well, with instant heat that can be controlled from my phone. Exactly what I wanted. Thank you.

I purchased a heater from Heat Outdoors based on the information they provided, only to find that the power required to "start" the heater was far in excess of the power required to "run" the heater. The power surges 10X according to Heat Outdoors.

It was blowing fuse after fuse, despite us following the installation instructions. I contacted Heat Outdoors, and repeatedly had to chase them for a replacement or solution.

They finally suggested a Type C breaker, but in the end we needed to use a Type D breaker. Their technician had never come across a "HOME ELECTRONICS" fuse board before either.

Before a resolution had even been found, they emailed me to say that as my "28 days are up" and as I had installed the heater prior to establishing it didn't work, I was not entitled to a refund.

What a nonsense. Their instructions were misleading and they have caused us hours and hours of wasted time.

Chasing Ciara Ramsey for responses was also frustrating too. Chasing and chasing for an answer to simple and polite questions.

The bottom line is the product was not as advertised and did not work as advertised. They even admitted it saying:

"We ran some tests in our factory last week and the results showed that the initial short term load can be as high as 10 times the normal load so based on this test result we should be recommending a 20A D type breaker where users are having issues with a C or B type breaker."

Plain English - this will blow a fuse unless you upgrade the capability in your fuse board.

I've spent a lot more money trying to get this sorted and Heat Outdoors staff have not even used the word "sorry".

The bottom line. Buyer beware. In this experience, Heat Outdoors did not accurately explain what was needed to install their product.

And when they give bad or misleading advice, they shrug their shoulders and shirk their responsibilities for giving accurate information.

I have found the experience very poor, the failure to apologise a disgrace, and that is why I think they deserve this one star negative comment.

Following three visits by my electrician, costing hundreds, we have finally managed to install a Type D breaker that Heat Outdoors could simply have advised was required in the first instance.

Worse - they write this: A 3kW heater used for long periods of time may need to be hard wired into a 20A fused spur rather than used in a standard 13A socket.

And then say that because you cut the 13A plug off, they will not accept a return. How on earth do you test that something works, following their advice, only to find it does not work once you follow their instructions, and you've voided your right of return by doing what they said.

They have still not fixed their advice or website.

Stephen Levy, Managing Director, when you come back to me about this, kindly note that your website and installation instructions makes no mention of the 10X surge or the requirement for a Type C breaker. It may now, but it didn't then.

PS: Define "extended period". One hour, two hours? Vague guidance that would make someone wonder what you mean.

PPS: The customer is correct here. The fact is that your product instructions were not adequate and they cost me hundreds in time and energy to get a resolution.

Still, you do not even say sorry. So, one star it is.

Swift responses to my queries before the purchase of my infrared crystal heater. After a few weeks they even emailed to see how the product was working for me.

We bought 5 outdoor heaters for our development and were more than happy with the product, the delivery was extremely fast and we were given a follow up email to check everything was okay. All in all great product and great service, I would recommend!

What a great company, easy ordering, prompt delivery and excellent customer service, received an email, shortly after delivery, to make sure everything was ok and we were happy with our purchase, which was a gas Firepit, which is excellent quality and has made our garden perfect!

Bought the Shadow Heater 2.0kW - Silver - Ultra Low Glare with remote for daughters 18th birthday party outdoors and works just as described. Gives off good heat and looks good with the stainless steel stand.

Ordered this Bronze Gas Patio Heater while it was on sale.

Its a great looking and solid heater. We've been using it in the cooler evenings and it throws out a good amount of heat. I'm very happy with it and I'm sure it will last for years to come.

I bought this heater after being very disappointed with one of bought previously.
This is great. Throws out heat and is low glare unlike some of the other nuclear ones claiming to be so.

A really high quality product. Larger than I expected and looks great. Still need to test it on a cool evening, but simple to assemble and much more convenient than gas.

I spent a lot of time looking at various outdoor heaters for our garden and when I found the heat outdoors website and saw the Santini eco flame gas patio heater I knew that this was the right one and would suit what we needed
I must say we are sooooo pleased and in no way disappointed it is a fabulous and well thought out heater which is so easy to use it is clean and looks great on our decking
The warmth it gives off is awesome and my wife keeps telling me to turn it down but it changed our lives - we love spending time outside and now we spend our evening in the garden as we always have but instead of going in around 9 pm we are still here at 11-11.30 because we are so cosy
