Unreliable product and zero long‑term…

Unreliable product and zero long‑term support. I’ve had two Klimaire indoor heads fail in under a year, both due to refrigerant leaks. I paid certified HVAC techs for installation and verification, yet the replacements still failed. I’ve now spent hundreds in labor on a system that keeps breaking. To make matters worse, Klimaire discontinued the R410A indoor heads, so you can’t even buy a replacement — even though they still use them for warranty claims. After repeated failures, extra expenses, and no way to get compatible parts, this system has turned into a money pit. I would not buy it again.

No warranty support

Heat and cool had fast shipping and good prices. Ordered 2 mini splits, one worked great, the other had a bad compressor board. My licensed hvac contractor called heat and cool a couple times to try to resolve and got no where. I’ve called or emailed four times and every time I contact them I get a different story of what is needed. Provided what heat and cool asked for. Called this AM and customer service said I needed more paperwork and documentation. How does a company selling this many units not have a protocol on how the warranty on units they sell works. Me and my contractor wasted enough time and got no where. We will scrap this unit and buy one from local wholesaler for product support and warranty. Own and manage rentals and was happy to have found an online retailer with fast shipping and good prices. All good until you need support after purchase.

Terrible service

Terrible service. I had ordered a mini split system. After a few months it quit. All they did was drag their feet and never returned my calls until my warranty expired.

Complete trash of a company

Complete trash of a company. Major damage to the ac unit not done during shipping. Cardboard exterior was in perfect condition. They knowingly packaged up a bad unit and sent it. Their response was for me to have to take 2 extra days off of work. One for them to pick up damaged unit. And one for a new delivery. Refused to line up for delivery and pick up on same day and no compensation for all the trouble

Complete scam of a business

Complete scam of a business. I ordered an AC/Heater wall unit that was listed "In Stock" and had not recieved in in over a month. Many emails and phone calls hade gone unanswered. Finally recieved a call from Yosbany Santos (employee #518) and they advised they were unsure why I hadn't recieved the unit. They "called" the manufacturer while I was on hold and said they were advised of a delay and it would be 2 more months until delivery. They said they were not aware there would be delays. I asked to speak to Yosbany's manager and he advised that higher managers "do not speak to customers" He stated his managers name is Marvin. Yosbany was unable to provide any explanation as to why an item listed as "in stock" was not actually in stock. The only resolution offered was to cancel the order or wait 2 more months for the item. Bad company, terrible customer service... Buyer beware!

Exorbitant return fees & uninformed customer service

Total scam and highway robbery.
I had a project on a deadline, before ordering I called to get a time window. Their "latest arrival date" was almost a week before my deadline, so I ordered.
A couple days after their latest date, I called to get a status and they simply told me "in progress" without anything else.
A day before my deadline, I had to rush to find another unit locally.
The next business day, I called to cancel the order and get a refund, their website still said "free returns". I was assured my return would be processed and I would get a refund.
Then shipment came, I rejected it because I requested a return.
The next day I called to tell them what happened, once again I was told that I would be refunded my money as soon as it got back to their warehouse.
Weeks pass, I get a call from them asking what happened, I told them the whole story and pointed out their communication had been really bad through the whole process... once again I was told my refund would be taken care of.
Another week, I call them to check on status, they tell me a supervisor would call me back, that call never happened.

Today I get this email:
###
We were informed you would like to return order # 100026289 and that is has been refused. Your order was submitted on the end of day 7/13 and shipped out on 7/15. The carrier picked up the order on 7/16. This meets our 24-72 hour fulfillment timeframe we have on our site. We are not responsible for any delays or challenges the carrier may have in route with your shipment.

As per our policy, orders refused have a 15% restocking fee ($149.70) and $2.99 per lb (330 lbs) for shipping fee ($627.90).
###
And a link to their new refund policy (they claim it went into effect in March 2020)

If they were going to charge me these massive fees, I would have just kept the unit. NOT ONCE during any of my phone calls did anybody mention any fees for returns... no restocking, no shipping fees... also, notice that they want to charge me for ALL of the shipping, even though they clearly state "free shipping" many times on their website.

This whole thing feels so incredible shady and I highly recommend that everybody avoid this company.

Absolutely terrible experience..

Absolutely terrible experience...
I purchased a $1000 unit. Shipping was prompt, unit arrived in two package, one day apart (not their fault). I ordered a $80 installation kit, which was never included (of course, this was a Friday). I called on Monday, talked to someone, said someone from their company would get it touch. Never did. Called again Tuesday, voicemail. Emailed Tuesday. No response. Call again Wednesday, voicemail. Emailed again, two different email addresses. Nothing. Tried their Facebook page. Nothing. Ended up filing a chargeback with my credit card company for the $80. Total BS. Just tell me you don't have the part, refund my money, it would have saved me a week. Now I have to buy the kit from someone else and delay my installation even more.
Will never buy from you again, and will let everyone know your customer service sucks.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I order an gas furnace from them and paid with a credit card on a Saturday. The following Monday I called to see if my order was received the customer rep told me it was received but more info was needed. I thought it odd I had to call them to find out they needed more info from me, but I sent it via email and asked to be contacted if anything else was needed. Good called that Wednesday to get shipping info to find out my order was canceled because they couldn’t contact me on Tuesday to get more info. I had no miss calls and asked them if they used my email. They told me it was canceled and there was nothing that could be done I’d have to reorder. The manager was rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!
