Rock pooling, swimming, bird-watching, walking, sandy and rocky beaches are all within easy reach. Hedgehope Cottage is well equipped, with comfy beds, a log burner for cooler evenings, fully equipped kitchen, a cupboard full of games and toys as well as a Play Station and unlimited wifi and huge DVD library for when you don't fancy getting out and about and exploring the amazing island and everything else Northumberland has to offer.

We have just had another perfect family holiday in Hedgehope. Everyone feels relaxed and at home with the facilities meeting everyone’s needs. The cottage location is ideal - quiet and a very short walk to the uplifting views of St Cuthberts and a beach to play on. Seal watching is a great pastime and listening to the birds very evocative. Something for everyone!
This is a lovely little house, well equipped and beautifully decorated. We have an annual girls trip and have stayed here a few times now. Love to light the fire, open the wine and relax on the comfy settees. The well equipped kitchen is a great size for cooking, socialising and playing cards. The little courtyard at the back is a perfect spot to sit with an early morning coffee while we plan our day of adventures. Tesco online delivery worked well with the tides too.
