Took my $298, never shipped, refused to refund

I ordered "The Boucle Flower Mini Dress" from Heiress Beverly Hills on March 8, 2026, and paid $298 in full. Over 40 days passed, and my order was never shipped, no tracking number, no update, no real explanation.

When I reached out to request a refund, they refused to return my money and offered store credit instead. I did not accept. I paid for a product I never received and store credit from a company that failed to deliver is not a resolution.

What followed was a formal dispute process. I have filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, the Florida Attorney General's Office, and the New York Attorney General's Office, and of course, I am pursuing a chargeback through my bank.

This company has 56 BBB complaints on record and a B− rating. That number now makes complete sense to me. There is clearly a pattern here: taking payment, failing to fulfill orders, and stonewalling customers who ask for their money back.

If you are considering purchasing from Heiress Beverly Hills, please think twice. The dresses may look beautiful online, but there is a real risk that you will pay and receive nothing. I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order.

I placed an order in January 2026 its now April 2026

I placed an order in January, they never sent it. When I inquired they told me it wasnt available, and they wouldnt refund me. I have received nothing from them, and I do not want store credit, for something I purchased in good faith, and they could not deliver. I have no trust in this company.

The dress is beautiful

The dress is beautiful, but I'm writing this review specifically to praise their operations team. My initial package was completely lost by the carrier. I reached out fully expecting a hassle or an automated response, but a real person got back to me within an hour and immediately expedited a replacement via overnight shipping. The dress fits perfectly, but it's that level of VIP service that makes me a repeat customer.

Honestly was skeptical because I get burned by IG brands all the time but the lace corset dress is IT. snatched my waist to the gods. fabric is thick af and holds you in without needing skims underneath. wore it out in Brickell and got stopped like 4 times asking where it's from. 10/10.

I’m a true size 12 with a DD chest

I’m a true size 12 with a DD chest, and usually these structured, architectural dresses look ridiculous on me or absolutely will not zip over my ribs. I ordered the XL and I’m genuinely shocked. The proportions are perfect. It didn't ride up in the back, the neckline didn't gape, and the built-in padding hit exactly at my natural hip. Finally a brand that knows how to grade for curves. Definitely worth the price point.

Very impressed with the engineering…

Very impressed with the engineering here. You can tell the founders actually invested in their tech packs and didn't just white-label a cheap silhouette. The crepe is heavy-weight, the internal structure holds its own shape on the hanger, and the plunge is perfectly tailored. It gives very 90s vintage Mugler energy. Will absolutely be shopping the next drop.

STUNNING!!

STUNNING!!! I bought the draped maxi for a gala last weekend and it is literal perfection! I originally ordered a size too big and was panicking, but their team was so incredibly sweet and got the exchange to me in exactly 2 days just in time for my flight. The quality is unmatched, I felt so confident all night. Thank you guys!

I placed a few bad reviews on this…

I placed a few bad reviews on this place due to not receiving my dress and I thought I didn’t get the money back, this all happened awhile ago. But they always ask about my reviews and they’ve send an invoice showing they did send it back, so I’m guessing I missed it and they must of. The costumer service is good in that way as they reply to reviews and show assistance. Probably one of the only shops that actually do care about reviews. so I appreciate that. I didn’t receive my dress but I did get the invoice of the money back only 2 months after everything happened. I can’t comment on their actual work on the dresses or clothing because I don’t have the dress but I may order again and find out, i recommend being catious but they do in fact send ur money back.

Don't order unless you have lots of time for delivery

Needed a dress for a last-minute event with only a few days to receive so I specifically ordered one early in the day that was supposedly "in stock" and paid $48 for next day delivery. The dress didn't arrive next day so I gave it another day before I reached out in case they needed a day to process the order. It took them 5 days to respond and by then I had to find an alternative dress to wear. The excuse for not delivering as promised was...

"We experienced a much larger surge in orders than expected after the holiday sale, and our warehouse is working around the clock to get every piece out as quickly as possible. Because Heiress pieces are produced in small batches and go through a strict quality-control process, we never want to rush something that isn’t perfect.

Your order is currently in the final stages of processing and is scheduled to ship within the next 5 business days. We’re monitoring each outgoing batch closely, and you’ll receive a shipping confirmation the moment it leaves our facility."

I told them to cancel the order and send me a refund. They refused to refund to original payment form and would only provide a store credit which is ridiculous as they are the ones who failed to fill the order as promised and they were never short the inventory as the order was canceled and never delivered. The process is a bait and switch!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

Products are made well but they are not long enough, nor does the site give any information on length of these dresses. I ordered 2 spending over $500 and they were made for someone under 5'6". I am 5'10". I go to return and I am told i can only get a store credit. Horrible return policy. They can just keep the $$ because theres nothing else I want from their store. If I had known their policy was such garbage, I would have bought their product from a vendor that actually allows returns.

Beautiful product

I can honestly say my experience with this company has been perfect. I ordered the long sleeve black lace corset mini which they recently re-stocked due to its earlier popularity. I received it yesterday, it is absolutely exquisite. The material, the quality, the size and fit. All perfect. Will be ordering again for sure.

Do not buy from this brand

Do yourself a favor and think twice before ordering from this brand. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Their policies seem designed to protect the company, not the customer.

I placed an order during Black Friday and never received it. When I contacted customer service to request a refund, I was told I wasn’t eligible — which makes no sense for an order that was never delivered.

This situation was very frustrating and left me feeling unsupported as a customer. I expected better accountability and communication. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Advise dispute the charge and never buy from this scam brand again.

Do NOT purchase from this "business." I purchased a dress that was on sale and IN STOCK. After it did not ship 2-5 days, as promised on their website, I reached out. Shipping was delayed until January 13th. I reached out January 13th, AGAIN delayed until February. When I asked for a refund, the owner REFUSED and ONLY offered store credit despite breaking their own policies and consumer protection laws. Absolute SCAM!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I ordered a dress November 30th that I would need December 31st and I originally had the shipping address set to my apartment because I wouldn’t be going out of town til the 23rd Of December so I assumed it was plenty of time. After 2 weeks of no updates I check in on my dress they say because of the holidays it’s busy but they will get the dress out by the 23rd. The 20th rolls around and I know i’m not getting it in time so I ask to change the address they say yes and say the package will be shipped in a few days it’s in its final stage (they’ve said this twice in the span of 8 days). I email the 23rd because i’m over it they’re now saying January 12th is the ship date so I ask for a refund and they say only store credit.. why would i ever want to shop with this scam business again. Mind you it’s not a return or exchange because I couldn’t even get the dress.

They refused the refund stating to our policy and only offered a credit for future purchases. When I pointed out that it’s not even a return because the item never even shipped it would be a cancellation they still refused to issue a refund. This is a predatory company - stay away.

“Misleading ‘in stock’ + 24–48 hr shipping claim

I placed an order with Heiress Beverly Hills on 11/29 for in-stock items (not marked as pre-order).

Every product page from my order said:
“All orders dispatch within 24–48 hours and ship from the United States.”
The products said (and continue to say) "Selling Fast" and "New Arrival"
Their shipping page adds "Please note, if we are experiencing delays orders can take up to five business days to be processed before being shipped, even if 2 Day Air is selected. "

Worried about the "delays" statement, as I had ordered this for a specific event, I reached out on 11/30 to cancel and was told on 12/1 that was only possible with a store credit. I declined, hoping the clothes would show in time. On 12/2 they said "We'll ship your order as soon as it's back in stock. We appreciate your patience and understanding.". Obviously this raised concern as this was the first time I was hearing that the item wasn't in stock (and I said as much). They then said on 12/3 "We were originally scheduled to receive the new stocks on the 20th, but due to holiday-related delays with our freight partners, the shipment has been pushed back. Because of this, the estimated ship date has been extended to December 6th." In other words, the items were not in stock at the time of ordering, the company was aware of this, and they couldn’t meet their own advertised shipping time.

The FTC explicitly prohibits sellers from soliciting sales unless the sellers have a reasonable basis to expect that they will be able to ship the ordered merchandise within the time stated on the solicitation

Because the delay went beyond what they advertise, I asked to cancel and receive a refund. Instead, I was told (phrased multiple ways):
“We have a consistent policy of offering store credits in lieu of refunds… we are unable to make exceptions to this policy.”

They repeatedly refused a refund and would only offer store credit, even though they failed to ship within the time they promised and I had shared the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, which indicates that I should have received (1) a proactive delay notice seeking consent to the delay, and (2) a cancellation and prompt *refund* if I declined the delay.

As of today (12/7):
1. No shipment notification
2. No cancellation notice
3. No refund
4. Items that I purchased still shown on the website with “24–48 hour” dispatch and in-stock, NOT pre-order. This was the case last week as well.

After looking at other reviews on BBB and elsewhere, this seems to be a pattern: delayed “in stock” orders, refusal to refund, and store-credit-only responses.

I’ve documented everything and filed complaints with both the FTC and my State Attorney General. Given that the business was unwilling to comply directly despite repeated attempts, I've also turned the dispute over to my credit card company to handle.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from this company.

BEWARE

I placed a pre-order for a dress scheduled to ship on 07/21. When that date came and went, I contacted customer support and was told there was a “slight delay” with a new ship date of 07/31. That day arrived, and still no shipment—so I reached out again, only to receive the same vague response and yet another delay, this time to 08/15.

It’s now 08/15, and once again, the dress has not shipped. This is my third time having to follow up with customer service. I ordered this specific dress for a specific occasion—my wedding welcome party—and the repeated delays have made that impossible. Each time I inquire, I’m offered a different dress instead, which is not what I purchased or wanted.

If a company is experiencing manufacturer delays on pre-order items, it is their responsibility to proactively inform customers—not force the customer to continually chase updates. They had no problem taking my payment immediately, yet they cannot follow basic business ethics and communicate honestly. I will never order from this brand again and would caution others to do the same unless they are comfortable with repeated delays, poor communication, and zero accountability.

Do not buy from here. Save your money. I had come across Heiress Beverly Hills on TikTok and everything looked amazing. I place an order for two dresses that I needed for a wedding. I ordered the Black strapless colorblock pleated maxi dress and the black draped shoulder maxi dress. I paid for overnight shipping. I only received the black draped shoulder maxi dress. As soon as I received it, I contacted customer service. I was disappointed the quality was very bad, the sizing completely wrong. I reached out to support to return the item and receive a refund and cancel the rest of the order that had not even been shipped. Customer service said that they could only provide a store credit or provide me with a different size of dress. Even for the unshipped dress they weren't willing to provide a refund. Please save your money. This website is a complete scam.
