Great warranty program

The elastic was defective in my son’s brand new snow pants. HH responded very quickly and provided a full credit to replace them. Great customer service

I received a HH merino wool shirt for…

I received a HH merino wool shirt for Christmas, and unfortunately it had a hole in the front which was very small but rather annoying given it was brand new. After contacting the customer service team, they verified this issue and offered me a store credit equivalent to the amount of the shirt. Although I'm sad the actual Christmas gift had an issue with it, I am very happy with the customer service and will undoubtedly continue buying from HH!

Excellent sales support

The manager, Dan and rep, Ryan, at the Helly Hanson store at Lionshead - Vail, were excellent. They asked what features I was looking for, how I would use the clothes, and set me up with the perfect technical pants and Alpha 4 Ski jacket.

Had a stitching issue with a new pair…

Had a stitching issue with a new pair of ski pants. Customer service was really easy to work with and resolved the issue quickly. Their service far exceeded my expectations. My other HH stuff is great, and customer service on this one thing has been fantastic. A#1.

Exchanged trousers for a different size. arrived promptly. Received a credit immediately for a coat with a faulty zip. Brilliant products and excellent customer service. Will purchase from HH again.

Customer service does not answer the…

Customer service does not answer the phones at HH. EVER! New ski pants split at the seam 1st time wearing. Emailed a complaint with photos & purchase receipt. They credited the price of the pants (not shipping) within a week. Asked if this is a common problem with the Legendary Ski Pant but got no response. Ordered another identical pair. Fingers crossed I get more than one wear out of them.

My concern was responded to quickly and resolved quickly. I was provided a credit due to a flaw in my parka, which I was not anticipating but am quite thankful for. I recently asked Lululemon to fix an issue with the parka I purchased from them and they didn't even bother to respond.

Not at all worth the price tag

I've owned 2 Helly Hansen winter jackets now. The first one, a snowboarding shell, had the zipper break after one season. I got the jacket on sale for $220 and regular price would have been $540 after tax! INSANELY OVERPRICED. The second jacket, a winter "parka" is absolutely terrible. The hood didn't even come remotely close to covering my head so I had to stitch on a piece of faux fur to make the hoodie actually stay on my head and do what it should have been designed to do in the first place. To top it off, and this is even worse, the jacket had great reviews, somehow, and yet the insulation has all bunched up after only a few washes so now there are more areas than not with zero insulation. It's a glorified wind breaker. Now I'm on the market once again for a legit warm jacket for Canadian winters as this one is absolutely pathetic. It shouldn't be called a winter coat and it shouldn't have cost me over $400. Never again will I buy HH. They don't deserve anymore of my money. They've already taken so much and given back so little.

Best customer service I have…

Best customer service I have experienced in a long time. They have made me a customer for life with how they handled my case. I gave them the info, and they troubleshooted and solved it without hassle or begging for anything. In a time when you deal solely with bots who string you along, they solved my problem.

Poor quality and customer experience

Purchased a pair of Odin Huginn 2.0 pants in Nov-2023. In Jan-2025 the right leg zipper broke. The metal pull tab broke at the connection point (metal fatigue/failure).
First, contacting customer service proved to be very difficult. Phones are not answered, and you are often disconnected. Email ticket took weeks for a response.
Second, customer service offered a $100 store credit, but said that the pants were out of the 12 month warranty. BTW, HH does not offer repair service.
At $200, and with a clear material defect, one would assume HH to stand by quality workmanship.
I would not recommend HH based on this experience and will look elsewhere to spend my $$

The customer service for this company…

The customer service for this company is an absolute disgrace. Order placed over week ago and confirmed by them.since then I have had no contact.
I have emailed to chase up with no response. Today I called the customer service line and was hung up on 3 times despite hearing staff on the other end of the line, when someone did speak to he said your order has been posted. My response was how can you tell me that as you haven't asked me any details about the order. Complete S**T show from a wold rebound company. Sort your staff out. I still have no dea if I'm going to get what I ordered

Helly Hansen stands behind their products

Had an issue with a jacket I bought several years ago directly from Hh. Support was quick to jump in and make the situation right! Very appreciated and they are all about building brand loyalty. Definitely a lifetime customer after this experience.

Still waiting for refund…

I ordered a zipped jacket for my husband for Xmas. It was too big, so ordered the smaller size and sent back the original order. The jacket/cardigan is great, but I still haven’t received the refund for my first order. I have emailed, but this is ignored.
It’s £120 so I wont be letting this go.
I sent other returns at the same time and one was out of this country and have already had this refunded.
Customer service is not good, I await a response as currently I wouldn’t order online from them again 😞

Just to add, if they contacted me to say the refund was in progress, I’d understand, bit ignoring my emails is not acceptable!
